"Home Depot Marrero LA online order was a disaster. Product was partially lost, and customer service was terrible. Despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue, it took weeks of frustration and countless hours to get a satisfactory outcome. Avoid Home Depot Marrero for online purchases. The experience was so negative that I would not recommend shopping there again.

    I love the Sterling Accord system now that I FINALLY got one that wasn’t shipped broken. One was shipped to my home and had a 5” crack in the back wall. It was an ordeal for me to return it to Home Depot where I ordered it from. Sterling cancelled the order twice without notification to HD. The 2nd shipment came to HD in a box that was severely damaged, as was surround wall. HD could nit guarantee delivery for 2 months. They found the product in stock at Ferguson Plumbing. The first order arrived broken. After 2 months of rescheduling a contractor, it’s installed. FIVE times ordered, FOUR times shipped to get one set not broken.

      This is a beautiful, well designed unit but the packaging isn’t adequate for something this heavy. I took the first one back - 70 mile round trip and 1 week delay - a corner was broken off the back panel. The second one had a crack on the top of the back panel - installed it anyway.

I was EXTREMELY disappointed in having to re-order the product so many times due to product being damaged. The product boxes weren't damaged on the outside, but the product was. The initial product was ordered in May and I received the final product (after 4 re-orders) in mid-August. Needless to say, this experience has given me plenty of cause for concern about ordering more on-line specialty products from Home Depot. The jury is still out on this. This was a very frustrating event/purchase for my wife and me!!
