This product did not meet my expectations; I chose it because I wanted to use an "organic" insecticide in lieu of the classic "chemicals". Applied the product twice as directed with one week in between applications; after three weeks, the end result was dismal as the mealybug and scale infestation of my orchid collection remained essentially unchanged.

It has not harmed my plants. It worked immediately on the green grasshopper that was on the plant and kept them away for about a week. Then, a larger, brown grasshopper showed up, and I re-treated two weeks later. I'm waiting to see if it keeps away these larger, more resilient ones.

Not sold anywhere near me so I ordered with store pickup. The foil seal was wrinkled, half off, and product seeped into the box. Thank you Safer Soap for taking my money, breaking the seal of the product you sent me, and doing such a sloppy job of filling my order. The soap may be “safer” but your order processing sure is not. HD is not directly at fault here, but their escalating trend of stocking as few items as possible drives us all to many inconveniences, wait time, and subject to manufacturers/vendors that could care less about their service.

Great Stuff
I just started using Safers. I now keep a pressurized bottle handy to shoot cabbage moths on the fly...easy and effective. It also kills Japanese beetles on my basils...they're belly up in several minutes. It's now a permanent part of my garden kit.

When was the product applied? For the best results, we recommend applying the product in the early morning or late evening. It should not be applied during the heat of the day or when temperatures exceed 90 degrees.
