Many Issues Shortly After Warranty Expiration
we, like many others who left reviews, had an issue with our ice dispenser mixing water and ice. it turns out it was a symptom of a bigger cooling problem throughout the entire unit and the software is not accurate in that it still indicates low temperatures that we set for the unit but that is not the reality as our food in the freezer has thawed and many items in our refrigerator have not been adequately cooled and we had to throw out quite a bit of food due to spoilage.
we've had issues with our other samsung appliances lack of durability shortly after the warranty expires so would not recommend this product specifically or samsung appliances generally without an extended warranty or until the company puts more emphasis on creating durable products.

Did not expect such problems in just 2 years
i did not expect to have such problems in under 2 years for the ice maker to keep freezing over and no longer producing ice after paying near $4k for this refrigerator. i have so many samsung products including tvs, washer & dryer set and this phone i'm using to write this review. only to learn the most expensive product of them i own was not worth the cost. i don't even know how to get this resolved other than to keep manually defrosting this thing. its frustrating and i'm not even trying to spend another dime on getting it repaired. please help or give me my money back.

Not a good buy!
ive owned my fride for exactly 15months and the power went out in my area the other day and my fridge never came back on. everything in the fridge and freezer has wasted. the error code reads that the hub wont work but the fridge will maintain its level of coldness however its the opposite. i can play music all i want but all my food went to waste. every appliance in my home is samsung now i regret that decision. the warranty was only for a year smh.

Design flaw in ice maker
it's a beautiful model, which looks really good in our kitchen and is very practical. there are major problems with the icemaker. ice get stuck and you can't even reach it as the bucket gets stuck. i tried to turn the icemaker off and it has been off for over a month but it doesn't thaw at all. This is not a fluke, it is a design flaw. Samsung knows about it but it’s not doing a recall and is still selling the product. If you still buy this product and in a month or two have problems, like everyone else who buys this product does, you can join a Facebook group of frustrated people who are encouraging each other in trying to get a refund from Samsung. Some work for years, investing many hours on the phone with Samsung. Good luck! You’re much better off not buying this product in the first place.

Ice maker sucks
well, if was pretty cool to begin with. until all the door shelves broke off...and then on thanksgiving my ice maker started throwing out pieces if metal in everyones drinks. i found a washer in my drink, thought my husband was playing a joke on me. not to long after i found a bigger piece of metal in ny next cup and realized our ice maker was broken. samsung has always had issues with their ice makers, we were told it was fixed in thus model. clearly it is not fixed.

It's a bit shorter than their earlier models. by a couple of inches. Doesn't really matter we bought a trim piece and it looks fine. Had a 2018 model similar to this in another home. It had issues with the icemaker. THIS ONE does not. ice maker has not clogged, water dispenser does not leak! So far so good :D

I love the French door style and the tablet that has all the smart features is so convenient. I can check what's inside the fridge without having to open the doors which is a great energy saver. I can use it as a tablet and look up recipes on the internet and even on youtube! The kids love to play music from it while I cook. I can also access the fridge from my smartphone with the smartthings app which is helpful when i'm out grocery shopping. I only have 1 complaint and that's the water dispenser. I just wish the push handle extended a bit lower so I can push it with a normal sized mug while resting it on the surface. Not a big deal. Highly recommend this fridge if you are looking for a modern upgrade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is really good !!! Just make sure that you remove the plastic that covers the speaker before you call customer care....it sounds really bad if you don't remove it.
It is spacious, easy to clean, the smart function works really well with smart things...only thing I would change is the use of Bixby....in my personal opinion Google Assistant or Alexa work better by far.
The design is very sleek and is the perfect size.

icemaker issues

The ice maker is particularly small, and has a tendency to freeze up (known problem, according to forums). I find I have to defrost the ice maker every other month in order to clear out the freezing, so that it can start fresh ice again. Frustrating given the size of the ice maker. Other features (smart family hub features) are cool and add functionality, but also extraneous if the ice maker doesn't work.

It does fridge things well, such as keep food frozen, keeps food cold, lots of shelves and customizable space. There's always ice and filtered water. Easy to change filters. The large drawer in the fridge does sometimes come off the track but it's an easy fix. The water dispenser has dripped water but it's not often.
