This is an attractive high quality refrigerator that I would've given 5 stars if it weren't for the in-door ice maker. It will require continual monitoring and service to ensure frost doesn't accumulate and bind the ice maker up. It is currently so frozen it cannot dispense any ice at all and the cover cannot even be removed to unblock it! Online searches point to this being a widespread issue for nearly all Samsung french door refrigerators with ice max and ice master ice makers. There are many videos of people using hair dryers to melt the ice dam to get things moving. If it's too far gone like mine, the only solution I have found is to unplug the entire fridge and let the whole thing defrost naturally. It's a very frustrating issue to deal with on an otherwise fantastic refrigerator.

This refrigerator is nice except for the icemaker! The icemaker freezes over every month or less and we actually have to take it apart and defrost it! It's like Samsung has reverted to the 1970's! It is a real pain!! There us a lot of drawer space but we have found for us there is not enough space for milk, large bottles of soda, etc. Next time I will not get the large middle drawer. The freezer on this is great, very handy at the bottom and small pullout drawer is great also. Also another thing to consider - the glass on top of the fruit & vegetable drawers is one piece, if your milk spills down on it and leaks under the glass & metal edges, you gave to clear everything off that shelf, unclipped the clips at the back and remove the entire sheet of glass to clean the spill or drip. Usually there are 2 separate pieces of glass to make it easier. Our next purchase want be for several years due to expense, but I will definitely not be buying a Samsung or any refrig. with this type of icemaker, a real deal breaker.

icemaker leaks water preventing the removable ice tray from being removed. other reviews had this same. hopefully warranty repair can fix it. feeling doubtful though.

The family is excited about our new refrigerator. We love the refillable water dispenser and overall look. The chopped ice feature is my favorite! The sleek inside is amazing and there is plenty of space. The is outer appearance makes a nice addition to our kitchen. My only regret is that we didn't purchase the matching stove and microwave.

This refrigerator has so far exceeded our expectations. We have a small area for a refrigerator to sit in our kitchen and this works really well for the space. We love the filtered water container inside of the unit as well as the door-in-door feature. The multi-purpose drawer is also very hand for the deli items we like to snack on without opening up the whole refrigerator.

The water on the outside and also having the auto fill pitcher on the inside is great. Being able to add fruits to the auto fill pitcher for some flavored water is great! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We ordered the Samsung 28 cubic sq ft, 4 door with showcase. First, I’m shocked how much I used the pitcher. I honestly thought it probably wouldn’t be used but I use it all day long. It fills up two workout bottles, 48oz to take on my jogs. Second, I love the showcase door with the removable baskets. I eat the same breakfast every, single, day. Now I can just lift out the basket, make breakfast and put it back. The last two features I like is that the top left shelf flips up to make room for taller things. I didn’t notice when I looked at the show room but great bonus. Lastly, the second row in the right shelf tucks under itself. So when I make a big pot of soup, I still have half the shelf behind it but I can easily get the pot out. I can’t say enough about how in love I am with this fridge. Oh, also, our flex door makes us the WINNER of our extended family’s cheese drawer competition!

We immediately noticed the additional space, as we were upgrading in size, but what we didn't really count on was how much of a difference the flex drawer would make. This has to be our favorite feature. We use it for both our large 2 liter bottles and for our deli meat and cheese. This has freed up so much space in our main refrigerator while making everything much easier to find and grab. No more piles of lunch meat and cheese to sort through, the flex drawer makes it very easy to find and grab exactly what you need. The fridge works great, very quite and efficient. Speaking of efficient, as a tech lover, I really appreciate the app. Using the app, you can easily set the temperature of the main refrigerator, freezer and flex drawer. You can also receive notifications if the door is left open, if you have young kids (like we do). It also makes it much easier to activate the power freeze/cool cycles which can increase the cooling output of the freezer and refrigerator, respectively, if you are trying to get a dish cold quickly or have purchased a bunch of meat for a barbecue. It also has a built in energy monitor for those who want to make sure that everything is running smoothly and efficiently. Overall, would highly recommend this refrigerator. Proud to have been able to give this baby a test drive thanks to the Insiders!

The smooth design, chic color, and high end features make it a truly unique product. Besides its good looks, this refrigerator is the most convenient appliance for my little one. The flex zone drawer has become her go to spots for her snacks and juice. The flexible storage drawer with the adjustable Smart Divider allowed me to give my daughter her own section, thus eliminating the “there’s nothing for me to eat!” complaint. The SmartThings connectivity allows me to keep an eye on her, and make sure she closes the drawer when she’s done. We are so thrilled with our new refrigerator!! Every feature from the food showcase door, to the installed water pitcher and ample space throughout has made this a very welcome addition to our home!!

My kids can reach their snacks without opening the whole fridge and possibly grabbing something they shouldn't. One of our favorite features is the auto refill water container. Our family drinks a lot of water and it is so nice to have cold water without having to remind each other to refill the jug. I was a little worried that the color would be too dark against our dark cabinets, but it is perfect! I love the color so much and will be getting other Samsung appliances to match.

No issues and love the hard ice cream and flexibility in temp settings for all 3 cooling regions . If you want the little upper bin that's on the back side of the freezer drawer (no longer supplied with frig) the part number is Samsung DA63-07512A Guard-Fre. A bit of work making the taller items fit (a bit of stress with my wife at first) but overall very satisfied and like the app to adjust the setting. The right door won't stay open but will be serviced soon.

Surprisingly delightful features! We’ve had our new fridge for a month now, and we continue to be impressed as we uncover new features. My husband just installed a reverse osmosis water filter (in the basement) to connect to the fridge water and ice line. We absolutely love the auto-refill water pitcher in the fridge door, it keeps just enough water to fill all of our glasses at dinnertime without having to stand at the fridge and wait to fill several glasses in a row. The door pitcher is also easy to pour water into a tea kettle or Keurig instead of trying to fill those directly from the fridge dispenser. I thought the water pitcher was frivolous when we bought this model, but my husband and I now think that it’s the most ingenious and valuable feature!! My children love the pullout middle drawer that houses all of the yogurt and other snacks that they’re often looking for. I love the fact that the fridge beeps at them (and I get a text notification) if a drawer or door is left open! The food preview door is certainly not a necessity, but we have found it handy to keep the items that we reach for most frequently. The fridge is so large, I’ve even been able to fit a full size cookie sheet full of things that needed to be chilled (on top of already having the fridge packed with food). The fridge is super quiet, same for the ice maker. The stainless steel finish cleans up very easily with a microfiber cloth and polishing cloth (like Norwex). The produce drawers are deep enough to fit a large head of cauliflower along with many other things. I love the half sliding shelf that allows more room for tall things such as multiple milk jugs. I’ve set up the SmartThings app to connect with the fridge. The most useful feature is the “door open” notification. I’ve tried the “Food List” where you can take a picture of an item (such as a leftover container) and set a reminder for when it expires. The system doesn’t notify me when the item is nearing or at the expiration date which I’ve set, which seems like a miss...but it could be helpful if I kept it up to date to add and remove to the list of items. More hassle than it’s worth in my opinion. Overall, it’s a beautiful fridge, very large capacity and very functional for our family of 5.

WE purchased this $2400 refrigerator in May 2019 and its the WORST. Ice maker & water are super slow. Had a problem with the freezer not including the door bin (as displayed in the owners manual) and Samsung customer service is the worst. I've called at least a half dozen times. Each time my ticket is cancelled and I recieve an email to upload a copy of hte purchase receipt (even though I have it registered on their warranty site). STick to phones. Do not purchase this refigerator

We are always on the go and the flex drawer feature is perfect for our 5 & 9 year old. Drinks and snacks are right there for them at perfect temperature and easy to grab and go. The “door in door” feature makes it easy for the entire family to access those always used item like drinks and condiments. The easy open doors and drawers are a very nice touch and make it simple to open with and easy pull and the tracks and hinges have a very smooth operation. The indoor ice maker and water dispenser are nice and sure we could survive with our them now. But my favorite feature is the water pitcher in the door that auto fills and has the ability to add fruit or vegetables for a very refreshing infused water at your fingertips. And the auto fill feature will refill the replaced pitcher perfectly every time so you never go to get a refreshing cup of water only to find an empty pitcher in the fridge. The size is perfect and the flexibility of the shelving provides our growing family of four to easily store all our food and drinks. Great space and ease of storing those tall Gatorade bottles or bulky milk jugs is not a problem for this Samsung fridge. The black stainless with finger print resistant finish means our Samsung is always clean and sleek looking and we don’t have to see our five year olds handprints except in his art. Overall I would give this fridge a perfect rating and highly recommend for anyone and especially those with kids as the space and features are well designed for all to benefit from. Great job Samsung designers.

We are selling our AZ house which has this refeigerator and my wife loved it. It works great and has a lot of flexibilty on how to configure the top section. It tooks months to figure the best configerstion for us and it isgreat.. So we buy the newest version for our permanent house. Delivery is awesome and the refrig looks great and cools down quickly. Then, my wife says where is the freezer door bin. Oops, it is missing. I spend the day on the phone with Samsung. Ouch!!! It shows in the instruction but all I get is (1) our instruction book is different (2) it is an option (3) call parts which is a third party company that is of no help (4) i would buy it bit Samsung can’t tell me their part number. (5) I ran out of departments in Samsung to talk to. No door bin and an unhappy wife on a purchase north of $2000. I think their engineers or some bean counter just eliminated it. Even though the brackets are still there. I’ve attacted a picture of the door bin and how it is used. Yes, you can find it on a Samsung refeigerator that is half the price. So sad. I just hope I never have to deal with Samsung on any other issue as it is like talking to a very polite but ineffective organization. Samsung couldn’t even figure out their part number so I could buy it. The store Home Depot people were great to deal with and tried every way to solve this problem and actually did.

The Samsung Food Showcase was delivered on the date promised and actually a little earlier than planned. It arrived in perfect shape and working order, although there a few things that have factory "clips" on them that the delivery guys did not remove or didn't know about. Once removed the water and ice makers worked perfectly. It has a lot more room than you would think based on it's size, but this Samsung delivers more space by using drawers and a flex zone drawer. What stood out to me was that most of the shelves were configurable so that you could raise half a shelf for more tall items. Or slide a shelf right/left and make more room on an individual shelf. We love that this refrigerator is quiet. We never realized how loud our old fridge was until we got this one. And the water pitcher in the door has been a life saver in the current heat wave. We had this fridge delivered about two months ago and we have had zero problems and have yet find a fault in it. The alarm for leaving the door open has saved us more than once already. This item has great exceeded our expectations of today's appliances. Most appliances today or disposable. Use it for a few years and replace. I was glad we spent a little more and have a great fridge.

First day of owning. Delivered 5 hours ago. By the way the guys delivering are incredible, clean and efficient. I followed previous reviews putting on the power fridge mode, in less than 5 hours at operating temp 37 F. Do yourself a favor and also set the power freezer to on. Freezer was still at 77F. The thing is huge. Plenty of room for everything. The showcase door I can see being worth it’s weight in gold..milk and everything else used often there. I’ll write another review in 3-4 months when I can see actual savings and try to complain if necessary. Haven’t owned it long enough to actually have an issue. Remember the power freeze and fridge if you get one.

This is a REALLY COOL REFRIGERATOR! (Pun intended.) First of all it's made by Samsung, so it feels very high quality. It is also very heavy (355 lbs) so you need a good appliance hand truck to move it if the installers don't put it in place for you. The four door/drawer design is great: in our old 3-door/drawer Samsung fridge, you have to open both upper doors to access the full-width deli drawer. But with this one, there is a separate exterior "Flexzone" drawer above the freezer drawer that you can use for wine, deli, meat, or beverages. Meat is kept at the coldest temperature (30 degrees) while wine is kept at the warmest (41 degrees). Then there's the nifty "Showcase" door which is the right door of the refrigerator compartment that opens two different ways. If you squeeze a little lever on the back of the handle when opening it, only the outside of the door opens so you can access the three clear plastic shelves in the door. If you don't squeeze the little lever when you pull on the door handle, the door including the three plastic shelves opens and allows access to the interior shelves of the refrigerator. The icemaker / water dispenser in the left door provides chilled water, cubed ice, and crushed ice by simply pressing your glass against the curved panel at the back of the dispenser. Inside the left door is a small water pitcher that can be programmed to auto-fill itself. This pitcher is designed to work as an infuser for making your own cold infusions from fruit or tea. We happened to have very good water quality where we installed this fridge, so I went to the trouble of adding a cold water line from the bathroom behind the kitchen to supply the icemaker line. I was very glad I did because the convenience of having cold, fresh, filtered water on demand was a real benefit I hadn't experienced before. This refrigerator is also "smart" in the sense that it can communicate over the internet with your smart phone. It was really easy to download and install the SmartThings app from the Google Play Store on my cell phone. Then I simply followed the on-screen instructions to set up an account and add the refrigerator. I had to enter my router pass code so it could communicate with the internet and Voila! I could see the refrigerator on my SmartThings display and read or adjust it's temperature settings for the fridge, freezer, and flexzone drawer. The Samsung RF22R7351SR refigerator has a 10 year warranty on the metal cooling technology it uses. The interior LEDs come on automatically when each compartment is opened. There are two special shelves in the fridge interior that can slide and flip out of the way to allow for taller items. This model is the 22 cubic foot counter depth designed so the front of the refrigerator (except the doors) would be flush with the front of a standard 25-inch deep kitchen countertop. However, by the time you add the recommended 4-inch clearance behind the fridge for air circulation and the icemaker water line, it sticks out in front of the countertop. Still it is shallower than it's full depth 28 cubic foot cousin. There is an extensive (almost daunting) User Manual included with the fridge that explains about everything you need to know about how to operate and maintain it. The manual is thick because it includes English, French and Spanish versions at 96 pages for each language. The first 39 pages are safety warnings and set-up instructions that were all done by the delivery people, so all we had to do was plug it in and hook up the icemaker water line. I did call Samsung customer support when I couldn't get the infusion pitcher to fill with water. The very nice lady there patiently walked me through my issue until it was solved. The only problem had been that the control panel was in a locked state and I had to unlock it before I could activate the auto fill option. The exterior is finger-print resistant stainless steel which was a vast improvement over our older stainless steel Samsung. We can happily recommend this refigerator to anyone in need of a new one.

AWESOME ! Read reviews - Bought last week - Home Depot delivery people exceptional ! They Setup everything ! Everything working perfectly because I also read instructions! I Had to go over unlocking intructions for the auto-fill pitcher several times before it filled. There is a video through Google that really helped! It shows to press the Fridge button til AP appears. Then you need to unlock by pressing water/Ice dispenser to make sure it is ON/unlocked. Also, be patient after delivery - as it takes 12 hours before icemaker is cool enough to make ice. Love this 27.8 Samung Refrigerator!!! A superior Samsung product ! AMP -Cape Coral, FL

This Samsung 27.8 cu. ft 4-Door French Door Refrigerator is very good looking. I really like the fingerprint resistant finish that does not leave finger prints. My old I was constantly wiping the finger prints on the stainless steel. One of the features is the FlexZone drawer. It has four different temperature settings. The four mode settings is Wine 41 degrees, Deli 37 degrees, Beverage 34 degrees and Meat 30 degrees. It has Wi-Fi that you can use you smartphone to control the temperature and monitor your refrigerator remotely. I have not setup this feature yet. It has a built-in water pitcher. It automatically fills after you put it back in after us. It also has option to infuse with a flavor of your choice like putting slices of lemon in the infuser area, Just a note when you get the refrigerator it does take over 24 hours to come to operating temperature for the freezer. I thought I had a defective refrigerator and make a call to Samsung and they insurer me that it takes a least 24 hours to cool down. All in all, I love all the features it has, it a great large refrigerator

My wife and I have been wanting a new fridge for our kitchen for the longest time. This is the last appliance in our kitchen that we hadn't upgraded yet. This Samsung 22.4 cu. Ft. Food Showcase French Door Refrigerator fit the bill perfectly. With the French doors and the two slide out drawers it makes accessing anything you want super easy. The Food Showcase door makes accessing all your favorite condiments super fast without having to open the big door and letting cold air out of the fridge. This not only makes for easier access but more energy efficient also. The FlexZone drawer is probably our favorite part of the fridge only because I have always wanted to have my fridge look like an episode of MTV Cribs when they open their fridge and it's super organized ;o) We put all our favorite bubbly waters all lined up perfectly with a different flavor in each row in this drawer and it always makes me smile each time I open to get a drink out. The adjustable shelves in this fridge give you a ton of options on how you want to set it up. You can pretty much let your imagination run wild. We love being able to open the fridge and go straight to the item you are looking for without having to move a bunch of stuff around to get to it. My second favorite item in this fridge would probably have to be the autofill water pitcher. I love the fact that I can open the door, reach in and have ice cold water ready to go without having to use the water dispenser on the front. My reasoning for this is because sometimes when the water dispenser has just been used recently the water coming out will not really be that cold. This pitcher gives you a large supply of ice cold water that you can even infuse with some strawberries, lemon, lime, etc...This is absolutely perfect and I can't picture having a fridge without this in the future. I think all fridges should have these going forward. Whoever thought this up is a genius in my book. That the fact that it is built in and autofilling is an added bonus. Our last fridge we had stuck way out into the kitchen. When we were thinking about getting a new fridge we said we wanted to make sure and get a counter depth one this time. This has made an absolutely huge difference in how our kitchen looks now without the fridge sticking way out into the walking path. The fingerprint resistance finish on the front of the fridge is great but you will still get some fingerprints. This is no big deal since we have special wipes we use to clean them off. We also use just a plain old dish towel to wipe the front of it occasionally and that keeps it looking great most of the time. The high efficiency LED lighting in this fridge is perfect. It actually took us some getting used to. I was used to our old fridge with the singular light bulb in it. This fridge is lit up from edge to edge and it is a nice bright almost bluish white color that makes it look sleek and modern. The fact that I will never have to go shopping to replace the light bulb is definitely an added bonus. Setting the temperatures in the fridge and freezer couldn't be easier. There is an LED display inside the fridge on the right side that you can use to adjust the temperature either up or down. We were able to set our temperature and humidity levels perfectly for all the different zones and so far everything is working perfectly. The Metal Cooling in the fridge seems to help keep all areas of the fridge at a consistent temperature. I didn't know if this was going to be a gimmick or actually add value to the fridge. It does seem to help keep all areas evenly cool so I like it. It also looks really cool and kind of space age. The ice maker in this fridge is second to none. It makes 4.8 lbs of ice and it does it quite quickly. This is by far the best ice maker I have ever had. This fridge is Energy Star certified and that is a big plus. Except for your whole house a/c unit the fridge is the second largest consumer of electricity in your house. Having an Energy Star certified fridge lets you know you are going to be saving as much money as possible on your electric bill. All in all my wife and I are extremely happy with our new Samsung fridge. It is absolutely the best fridge we have ever owned and we are looking forward to getting years and years of use out of it. Samsung did a fantastic job of engineering this fridge and I can't think of a single thing that could be added to it to make it better. Great job Samsung!

The 4 door french door refrigerator was fairly easy to install since I already had an ice maker on my previous refrigerator and the hook ups are pretty universal.I was used to a side by side so it's taking some getting use to, but overall the refrigerator part is pretty spacious. I haven't quite figured out the flex drawer yet and the freezer is my biggest challenge, getting used to not seeing everything without emptying a drawer to find something at the bottom. There is only one shelf that can be adjusted so if you have many tall bottles, some have to be laid on their side. My wife loves it, I'm still on the fence.

My wife was questioning if we really needed a new fridge as our old one still worked fine. After having this for less than 24 hours though she randomly mentions, “ I really like this new fridge.” While it is only about 1 cubic foot bigger than our old side by side version, the layout allows for so much more storage. I feel like the thing is empty all the time, but it’s just so much better laid out. The drawers are really a great way to store a lot of different stuff, but still having easy access to it all. We also moved the milk to the door and with the half door open it is a great way to access with out letting all the cold air out. The delivery from Home Depot was a snap as well, they did it all and took care of the old one as well. To anyone thinking about switching to the double door layout, I highly recommend doing so, and this is a great option.

Awesome fridge. We were in need of a larger fridge and I am a huge fan of the Samsung flex zone drawer. It is so handy, especially in a counter depth fridge . I won't buy another fridge without that feature. This is an especially nice unit. Unlike other Samsung fridges I've had, the water dispenser on this one actually puts out a decent amount of volume. It will fill a 20oz water bottle in under 10 seconds where my last one would take about a minute if you were patent enough to stand there. Also this makes almost 5lbs of ice - and makes it quickly. I thought the showcase door was kind of a gimmick, but after living with it for a while I find I rarely open the entire fridge door. I have it arranged where the frequently accessed stuff can be grabbed through the showcase. Even gallons of milk. Perhaps my favorite feature is the auto filled water pitcher. I fill a 2L camelbak bladder when I go on long bike rides or hikes, and it's perfect for that. Ice cold filtered water at the ready and the fridge will fill it automatically - even to just top it off Like with all my other samsung appliances I have it connected to Bixby and my Smart things app. Excellent fridge with practical, useful features and a premium fit and finish. I can't think of another fridge I would replace this one with

The sleek and attractive counter depth design makes for smaller capacity but it’s still plenty for just the two of us. It’s so quiet that the only sound we hear is the occasional dumping of ice from the ice maker. All compartments are brightly lit up with well placed LED lighting. With the SmartThings App that I downloaded onto my iPhone, I can monitor and adjust the settings remotely. One of our favorite features is the Showcase door which lets you quickly and easily access those most often used items like milk and condiments. Throughout the fridge there are plenty of shelves and door bins that come in a variety of sizes and shapes that make organization a snap. One shelf can even slide back in half in order for tall items to be set below. Deep bins in the Showcase door are ideal for gallon sized milk or juice jugs. We really like the options that the FlexZone mid-drawer gives you. Not only can you choose a separate temperature for it but you can also select how you want to split the four dividers inside. We store breakfast and lunch meat, butter and cheese, juice boxes and snack packs all within the simple pull of a drawer. The icemaker is compact and tucked out of the way taking very little space out of the refrigerator compartment. With just a lift and a pull you can remove the ice bucket. The dispenser has an up forward position that allows for large glasses and even pitchers to be easily filled. A unique feature with Samsung is the AutoFill Water Pitcher which always stays full by sensing when it needs to refill itself with cold filtered water. It has a built in diffuser that allows you to make cold brew tea or fruit flavored water. The easy pull out freezer compartment has two large, deep sections and a sliding upper drawer that is also surprisingly deep. This is a beautiful refrigerator with its flush counter depth style and brushed fingerprint resistant stainless steel.

The Samsung 27.8 CU.FT.showcase 4-door French door refrigerator in fingerprint resistant stainless steel. This is a really nice unit loaded with features. Some of the things I loved about this unit is the water tank,it's basically a pitcher that automatically refills itself. Which is nice to bring it to the table cold water and when done place back in it's holder and it refills. The unit also has Wi-Fi and Bixby which you can Monitor the unit with your smart phone,such as temps. The unit has high efficiency LED lighting as well as a modern external filtered water and ice dispenser. The water filter is easily accessible though the upper part of the refrigerator. The Ice Max holds up to 10 lbs. of ice,the unit is Energy Star compliant as well as ADA compliant as far as accessibility. The unit has two humidity-Controlled Crispers as well as a Cool Tight door and door alarm if the door is left open for 2 minutes it will sound. The water and ice dispenser also has a lock so that little ones won't make a mess,great feature. The unit has plenty of storage space from on the inside of the doors to the refrigerator itself. Also plenty of storage in the freezer as well.....one of the other features I love is the Flex-Zone drawer,this is a storage drawer with 4,different temperature sittings and a adjustable Smart Divider to stay organized. Take a look at my photos an you can see some of the many features of this beautiful unit. Only problem I see with this unit is that is does take a little longer for the freezer to kick in and start working.... Overall this is a great unit.

The first thing I would like to comment on is how really QUIET this refrigerator is. The first floor of our home is an open floor plan with no walls separating the kitchen from the living room. In complete silence, you can barely hear it running. If there is any noise, it’s the occasional dropping of the ice and the water filling. I really enjoy the Flex-zone metal cooling drawer with a variable temperature control. I keep my bread products in there to keep them fresh during the summer months, as well as wine. I also find that I have plenty of refrigerator storage space. The freezer, with its bins AND sliding drawer, is also large and convenient. I like that there is a section of the bottom shelf that slides back to make more room for big jugs of milk, tea, etc. If there is one weak item, to me it would be that the bins in the doors are not adjustable. The refrigerator is only a week old so I cannot comment on repair issues, I would buy this Samsung 4-door refrigerator again.
