Damage Compressor
The compressor stopped working and there is no warranty. horrible experience with Samsung. a lot of money, I didn't think it would stop working.

      Ice maker stopped working
      I purchased this a few years ago and it was fine. The ice maker stopped dispensing ice due to a known flaw in the refrigerator. Samsung had fixed it two years ago for free which was nice but it happened again.

        Very short life.
        Worked great for about a year. If that's all you expect your new fridge to last for then go for it. Samsung refused to fix the issue.

          BUYER BEWARE
          We purchased this frig in Oct, 2018 and have had problems ever since. The ice maker has been replaced, which was good but the tech failed to put my bottom right door back to a frig instead of a freezer when it was reset so all the produce I had purchased 2 days before froze solid. After that the left side drips water from the ice maker off and on all the time. This week the water line was broke so that was 500 dollars. The most expensive frig I have ever purchased and the most problems I have ever had with one, and I've had many.

            Don’t waste your money
            This 4-door refrigerator design leaves a lot of room for improvement in my opinion. My screen gave out about 3 years in, but thankfully we purchased a 4 year warranty. Currently awaiting repair. Without the screen, the user has no way to see or control the temperatures of the three compartments. Luckily they stayed where they were when the screen went out. Other than the screen, the top left door has trays that are virtually unusable due to slim width. The meat and cheese section is far too large, taking away a lot of freezer space. The 4 door refrigerators that I wish I would have considered more are the models that have a meat and cheese drawer in the middle with a full freezer drawer underneath. My wife was drawn to this one because of the stupid screen. The smart speaker sucks, the amount that you can do from your screen is less than mesmerizing, but the internal cameras are pretty rad when you forgot to check the fridge before heading to the grocery store.

              Ice Maker Issues
              We were told by someone else who had this refrigerator that their ice maker had issues, but we purchased the refrigerator anyway. The ice maker does not function properly. It continuously leaks and freezes up. When the Samsung repair man visited, he indicated that the issue was a known flaw and there was no fix. DO NOT BUY. This is an expensive refrigerator and now we are having to get a new on because the leakage from the ice maker has gotten so sever.

                Disappointing
                The actual storage space is rather small. There is a constant issue with the water filter replacement notice appearing and reappearing despite the installation of a new filter. This refrigerator is filled with gimmicks that do not live up to their supposed benefit. I will probably replace the unit later this year and buy something much simpler.

                  Dont buy this! Ice maker is a disaster from day one and Samsung makes it difficult to get it fixed. After two years, now the software locks up and the screen doesn’t consistently respond to touch. Dont waste your money!

                      Fridge good, Ice Maker is CRAP, Screen is meh
                      i have no issue with the refrigerator part - but as many reviews below me say, after a year it craps out. i'll never buy a fridge with an icemaker again. fam hub for us is worthless. i had high hopes but its cluncky and the user interface is meh. i'm not an andriod user, so i could be abit biased - but i think its not worth it.

                        Had this fridge for a few years. ice maker gave me trouble until a tech came out with a fix. freezer has never worked properly since the start. Flex zone temperature is way off. Family hub freezes all the time. I give this a 3. maybe later versions are better.

                          we love the refrigerator but the icemaker freezes constantly. we have to defrost it probably monthly. it also would be nice if it had the capacity for more ice.

                                    Very STYLISH; but terrible reliability
                                    the refrigerator, in theory, is a great idea. its beautiful, handy with the monitor functions featured on the door, but it lacks reliability. the ice machine will work some; it'll develop ice and seizes up after a few load or two of ice. you will have to remove the ice box, blow dry the build up, and restart the ice making system. we've owned it for 3 years now and then the coil leaked. i had the coil replaced and refrigerant recharged. worked again for a few days then now the compressor is locked and inverter board fails. so i'm in this dilemma of whether i should continue to dump money in this refrigerator or replace it with something more reliable. i just hope those that are reading my review be warned not to buy this specific model.... you'll be in for a headache.

                                      JUNK. Lasted exactly 13 months. Had to fight with SS for refund because they want to charge you to find out it's a compressor failure which IS covered. Search FB for the Samsung recall group! Thousands of stories like mine and worse. Houses catching fire.

                                        I bought this a year ago. I haven't had any problem with it. I love the tablet door functions, especially the integration with Ring. No regrets and plenty of compliments from guests. Very much recommended.

                                          Touch screen is not reliable and stops working
                                          [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the touch screen stopped working just after 1.5 yr. smartly the product carries 10 yrs compressor warranty and the refrigerator works as usual but because all the control of the refrigerator are from touch screen, i cant update any settings. so now without the touchscreen , this refrigerator is same as one from 80s as it has fixed temperature. big disappointment on such low reliability of the premium product from top brand.

                                            Worse experience
                                            despite its great looks and functions, the refrigerator completly stopped working not even two years of using it. how is it that this expensive machine can just stopped working, not only that it took weeks before fixing it at my expense since warranty is only good for one year. imagine to have to live without a regrigerator for a month having a large family in my house. very dissapointed, this is the second time we own a samgsung refrigerator and both times thwy failed us. never buying samaung again and not recommending it to anyone to have to go through this headache. save your money and time and buy another brand.

                                              we paid a high price for this fridge, the entire fridge. the ice maker is the absolute worst. we have had it repaired at least 6 times since we bought it 3 years ago. it has never been fixed. water continually leaks from the ice maker into my fridge, leaving puddles of water inside my fridge. the ice maker leak cause it to continually freeze up and stop making ice. we have learned how to repair it ourselves and have to de ice it once a week. which includes taking the entire ice maker out and scraping off the ice build up. and recently, it just stopped making ice all together, even though there is no build up. our warranty just ended and now if we wanted to repair it (which would obviously just be a temporary repair) we have to pay a diagnostic fee and labor. it's so ridiculous.

                                                Okay product, TERRIBLE support
                                                We loved this refrigerator. After about a year, we started to have problems with the freezer. After spending weeks trying to get someone to come out and having missed appointments, someone finally came out from Samsung's approved service provider. He misdiagnosed the problem, ordered a part we did not need and kicked the can to the next tech. This guy came out with the unneeded part, correctly diagnosed the problem and tried to fix it. He warned us at the time that the repair would either fix the problem or in less than 3 months it would break again. It broke. Another service guy from the same company came out after weeks trying to get a service call placed. I don't know what he did, but after he left NOTHING in the refrigerator worked. He did admit that this problem had him flummoxed (which did not inspire confidence) and said he was having another tech come out to try to repair the unit. At this point, the freezer was down, the flex zone was not refrigerating and the refrigerator was not refrigerating. So we waited for the next tech to come out. After more than a week, he came out and pronounced the refrigerator dead. Now comes the really fun part - you see this is covered under Samsung's warranty. We were told to wait 48 - 72 hours and someone from Samsung would call us about the refrigerator. No one called. We tried to call them, but the number we were given for this went unanswered. I don't know who at Samsung chooses their approved providers for work, but these people are affirmatively bad. The only tech they have who appears to know anything really needs to find work elsewhere.

                                                    Super Fun Refrigerator
                                                    like i said in the header, super fun refrigerator. you can download a bunch of fun apps. i downloaded pandora because i personally like to blast music while i cook/bake. this fridge shows what is expired and whos taken your food when they said they didn't. had some problems with the ice machine but samsung service came to fix right away!!

                                                      Nice until ice maker start to have an issue
                                                      purchased this jan. 15, 2019.. january of 2021 ice maker start to freeze. i was able to fix it until this month of april , ice maker starts to freeze every week. i have to monitor it when starts to freeze, dump ice and put hot towel on the top of ice maker. did all the trouble shooting, nothing help. i read that the ice maker of this is defective and need to be recall. sensor issue!!
