My dryer stopped running after only 2 years. If I turn the drum manually with my hand, I can get it going again but after the $86 diagnosis charge, the samsung repair person says it probably needs a new motor (the kind of motor is apparently inappropriate and starts with an A so I had to rewrite this review leaving it out). I can continue to turn the drum (which doesn't always work the first time) or pay for a new motor which he cannot guarantee will fix the problem 100%. I thought Samsung was one of the better brands. I would stay away from this model.

This dryer is awesome. So quiet and energy efficient. It can handle a king comforter with no problem.

I bought this "top of the line" dryer for my new house less than two years ago. It's now making a loud screeching sound while tumbling. Turns out Samsung only warranties its $1,000+ appliances for 1 year. Seriously?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First Samsung purchase outside the audio video realm. So far working well. Lots of options and no issues with functions. The dry time is good but still have to be aware of large items like comforters not to remain in one position leading to hidden wet areas when cycle is done. 2 months in and happy so far.

I’ve had the new dryer for a few months now and am very impressed. Everything works great and I can tell a huge difference in the cleanliness of my clothes!

Delivered this morning. The crew was in/out in 20 minutes. I’ve dried 3 loads of clothes. So far so good.

The products are fine. Your ability to provide the pedestals was not good...unavailable for weeks. I purchased through another vendor so they would be here when my WD came from HD. My our installers would not install because it did not buy pedestals from HD. I had to hire a plumber. poor cust svc

This machine worked well in the beginning. The only complaint I had is that the door doesn't open very far. In a small room that is a problem to get around. Then the true nature of the machine came out. I've had it just over a year and it doesn't work any more. There was a strange sound and smell, then it just stopped working. Funny how it just makes it past the warranty. I have since read many reviews with this same situation. I'll try to update after I pay someone to tell me what's wrong with it.

The main feature I bought this for, beyond just drying clothes, was being able to get alerts on my phone when the cycle was done using the Smart Home app. Nowhere was it ever made clear that this requires a $25 dongle (per machine) that you have to buy through the Samsung website! Highly disappointing that this machine is not "smart" right out of the box.

Their app reports my Dryer as a washer.. And you have to enable wifi everytime you want to control it

I really like the lint filter and how it catches most of the lent to keep it out of the vent.

We built a new house so we wanted all appliances to look same to be part of the house and samsung offered good products for good package price!

This dryer operates quietly, is easy to use and does everything it says it does, and quite well.

Have only had this dryer a short time. It works great and has lots of features and options. The design is a little bulky looking and it isn't as quiet as my last dryer. But the most important thing is it does a good job drying.

I am happy me and my husband invested in this dryer it's everything we wanted. It is definitely a great buy. We our happy! No complaints at all. We love it!

After doing a lot of research these appear to high quality with many great features. However we just won't know if they're durable until years down the road. We have high hopes and hope to get at least 10 years for a family of 5.

We bought this dryer to go with the matching washer. It is a good dryer, but we were also disappointed with it, especially since it cost so much more than our previous dryer. 1. Clothes come out more wrinkled than our previous cheap dryer. 2. The steam function is disappointing...the dryer shpritzes water at everything and then depends on the heat to dry up the water and create "steam"---if you open up the dryer, you wont actually see steam, and I think this feature is misleading. Actual steam I think would be more effective. 3. Often the "sensor" will misjudge if the clothing is completely dry and shut off while it is still a little wet. Overall we like the look (the black stainless steel is really nice) so we are glad we got the matching pair, but given the price, I think the technology could have been a bit better.

So far this thing seems great. I haven't tried the wrinkle function yet but I did get the water line hooked up to the dryer. I'm hoping this has less issues than the washer which leaked from the start.

GREAT PRODUCT!!!! Love all the features and especially where you can add an usb to get notifications via smartphone.
