Hi there,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I see you have some concerns with the 1.9 cu. ft. Countertop Microwave with Sensor Cook in Stainless Steel, Silver. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. Please know that we value your feedback. We will continue working on improving the quality of the products we offer.
Borosilicate glassware is used in the microwave oven because it is highly thermal resistant. Glass is a non-crystalline, hard but brittle solid material formed from the mixture of silica and silicate. This is necessary to keep the microwave energy inside of the microwave. It a required for both the operation of the oven and for safety. If it was not there, the energy would not stay in the microwave oven, it wouldn't cook your food, and it would be dangerous for you.
Like any other lightbulb, you need to change your microwave's oven light once in a while. But don't worry, it only takes a minute to replace the bulb with a new one, and soon you'll be cooking fast, delicious meals again.
Caution: When replacing the oven light or cooktop light, make sure that you are wearing gloves to avoid injury from the heat of the bulb.
