While I believe this to be a good product, I cannot give it five stars when the packaging says it is a SEASON-LONG, single application that can kill and prevents grubs FOR UP TO 4 MONTHS. Which is it?

Not near as effective as Bioadvanced Grub Killer Plus. But it appears you no longer carry. Scott’s is ok in the spring for young grubs but ineffective for mature grubs.

We're sorry to read about your disappointment with Scotts Grubex1 Season Long Grub Control and appreciate your feedback.

Scotts Grubex1 Season Long Grub Control only controls listed white grubs and will suppress chinchbugs (does not provide complete control for chinchbugs). Scotts Grubex1 is not effective on mature grubs, as larger (mature) grubs are harder to control and resistant to most controls on the market. Apply to fry lawn and water in within 24 hours of application. The entire lawn must be treated for complete control. Heavy thatch (more than a 1/2-inch thick) can prevent the product from penetrating the soil.

    Don't waste your Money....
This will NOT wash into the Ground. Have watered it over & over and it's still just sitting on top the ground. Have watered it for weeks. Hasn't stopped the Grubs at all. Next time I will use Milky Spore Powder. I know it works.

We're sorry to read about your disappointment with Scotts Grubex1 Season Long Grub Control and appreciate your feedback. The carrier can remain visible for several weeks before it breakdowns. Granules will disappear over a period of several weeks under normal weather and watering conditions. There is no health threat.

I have used this product before and it does what it advertises. It was easy to locate at Home Depot.

No where near the square foot spreading area represented, much less area coverage, using a Scott Spreader set to the recommended setting. But, seems to be so common with such products.

We're sorry to read about your disappointment with the coverage of our Scotts Grubex1 Season Long Grub Control and appreciate your feedback.

We have not changed the formula or bag size of this product. If using a rotary spreader each pass should be about 5 feet apart, if your passes were closer together, you would be applying too much product. Pulling the spreader backwards will also apply too much product. When applying, you should be walking a good pace, approximately 20 feet in 5 seconds. If walking more slowly, it puts down more Scotts Grubex1 Season Long Grub Control in the same area.

Seems to work reasonably well. Product is vastly overpriced, however, meaning that coverage for a moderately large lawn becomes quite expensive.

Haven't got any good results yet. May be brown out instead of grubs. Good product, I have used it before.
