I bought this hedge trimmer last fall to replace my electric one, but never got to use it until now. This is the biggest piece of junk that I ever bought. I only was able to get it started once. It just will not start no matter how you try. I followed the directions on the instruction sheet, also used starter fluid. I tried many different days to get it started. No go!! Just threw it in the garbage!!!! I would not give it to any friend. Don't want him to go through what I did.

I ordered mine last week. picked it up from HD on Monday. Followed the instructions and 6 hrs later it still won't start. the Senix support system is USELESS. I got more tech support from YouTube. I would give this zero stars but 1 is the lowest. spend the few extra bucks on a Stihl. lesson learned. returning this today. very disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked the blades length it's easy to keep a safe distance between my husband and whatever he needs to remove. He did comment about it's low vibration said it didn't bother his hands and arms to the point he needed to stop or take a break. I think it's a great tool cutting up small branches and shaping our hedges it's quicker then before that's for sure! He liked the rotating handle which made it easier to hold while cutting upwards and downwards. The protective sleeve did get snagged a few times when sliding it off & on but it does help keep it clean when it's not in use. I'm so glad we have this he's now keeping the yard looking the way we love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was light to hold as I was cutting the hedges and bushes. It was precise and did an amazing job on the bush. It's a 4cycle gasoline hedge trimmer and that didn't bother me. Some prefer electric and some prefer gas. I like the gas trimmer that I have. It is a gorgeous trimmer that screams luxury. It wasn't too loud like some can be. Definitely recommended it to my in-laws..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always used manual hedge clippers to trim my plants and bushes outside but it is so time consuming so wanted to try this gas powered trimmer. I love how easy the adjustment was to using this from a manual and it gets the work done in 1/10 of the time. I noticed while using the trimmer at waist height it was wonderful..but due to the weight of the tool, I couldn’t hold it up to get the top of a bush or tree for a long period of time without it making my arms and shoulders sore.

I love that the oil was included and it's super nice not having to mix gas as these are 4 cycle gas powered trimmers. They are not extremely heavy yet big enough to take care of the most over grown hedges as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This may not be a name brand but it sure acts like one. Thick sharp blades leaves hedges helpless. For added comfort this units comes with an adjustable handle. With this feature vertical trimming will be a breeze

Machine is very hard to start. Started once since purchase after so many trials. Since then will not start!!!

I was faced with only one option, shopping for a four-stroke hedge trimmer… but boy has it been a pleasant surprise. I’ve used this machine a few times now, and it impresses me. Never hard to start, doesn’t seem to use oil, and cuts very well, without needlessly fatiguing the operator. Yes it’s heavy, but like a heavier chainsaw, you learn to use that to your advantage.

started it up once-that was it! Customer service is useless no one answers the phone-they wanted a film of me trying to start it so I sent it. Was told "have one by August" it's Sept 10-Nothing.

Took it out of the box, followed the instructions and started the hedger. It cuts well and all of a sudden it stops working. I started it back up but it starts and stops working immediately. Will take it to a repair shop to see what’s wrong. Meanwhile, I won’t recommend this piece of junk to anyone. What a waste of time and money.

This trimmer is a great value it works great

Stopped working on the first day of using it.

Every time I went to idle it would die. I’m sure it was an adjustment but it wasn’t worth the aggravation. It was easy to return that was a positive.

This thing is junk! Don't waste your money

Cannot get more than 1/4 throttle then dies. Get it to stay running cannot even cut new growth green branches.

Was delivered damaged. plastic casing was cracked

I bought this product sometime a year ago and boy does it handle nice with lots of power to get the job done.
