The adhesive did not work on its own. The first glide fell off before I put on the third one.

The website description of the product says that these furniture sliders can be used on tile. After receiving the package, the package said that these are not for use on hard surfaces. They are only for carpet. I returned them.

These glides work well. I use them on my outdoor patio chairs that are on a typical Florida lanai. And Its a rough surface to side on. They,(the gliders) as expected did wear down, so this is my second set that I using. NOTE: I found the screws that are supplied are not stainless steel and will rust...so if you use them in an outdoor application, replace them, upgrade to stainless steel screws.

After looking for several years for replacements for glides for patio chairs, I found the Shepherd glides. They fitted the off-market chairs well, though the plastic glides don’t wear well on the aggregate patio surface. I replace them every few years, and they work as good as new!

These glides allow you to attach them either by adhesive backing or screws. I used the adhesive backing and they fell off within a week.

We used these to place on a storage footstool so that it would slide easier on carpeting. They are working out well. We chose a good size and they were easy to install.

They offer a good quiet slide on tile.

They are hard plastic not hard rubber.Plastic crack and will scratch the tile/ wood floors.

They are perfect. I used both methods to put them on, the self adhesive and the screw.I highly recommend them. Thank you Home Depot.

With no instructions we peeled off too much beyond the glue making the remaining 3 useless for a chair.

Perfect for tile and wood type floors. Tried three other types. The rubber stuck, the felt wore down quickly as did the nylon/plastic.

Very happy, the addition of a screw made all the difference and these have stayed in place. Used a drill to make a pilot hole first. Like many adhesive backed products, backing was hard to peel off, or would be 5 stars. Plastic slides well on my tile floor.

You can't go wrong with these chair leg protectors. Easy to install and nothing holds up better.

Adhesive is terrible. Will not put screws into handcrafted Amish hickory furniture.

We use these for our dining chairs. They last longer than any other style glides.

Best glides I have used since they do not fall off!! I did have to use my own screws since the once included strip-out easily. Paper backing was a bit difficult to remove. I found that starting in the middle (screw hole) I was easier.
