This is the absolute best product to remove cat pet stains and odors! I've tried many other brands through the years and this one outperforms all of the rest by far.

Just like my dog "obliged" me for the Simple Green BioDog, one of my cats was kind of enough to leave me a "gift" on the carpeting in my closet. Thankfully, it wasn't too big and not too loose. I was able to remove some of it before using Simple Green so that probably helped the situation. I followed the directions and it did fine. At least I think it did; the carpet is beige as was the accident. Not sure how it will do with cat urine or with the lovely dyes that are in most cat foods but I'm willing to try it again. The perfume was not too overpowering either.

It has a pleasant smell -- not too perfumey like some other products I've used -- and for that I would recommend it. That said, I have never found a product, including this one, that has deterred my cats from re-marking the same places. The product did not remove stains from plain concrete either. Oh well.

The Wife and I (with the unrequested help of our two cats) used this product as both a spot remover on a fresh vomit accident and on a section of carpet our cats have previously used as a makeshift litter box. On the fresh vomit stain, this product easily removed all traces of the stain with just a few sprays and some dabbing of a cloth, and left behind a pleasant, fresh smell (that The Wife prefers to the scent of Nature's Miracle). Unfortunately, however, the Simple Green Pet Stain and Odor Remover was not able to completely remove the smell of old urine from our carpet even though we followed the directions exactly. Nature's Miracle seems to do a better job removing cat urine markings.

As a landlord that has reluctantly allowed cats into apartments, only to regret the decision over and over again (you'd think I'd learn!), I've used a product available from veterinarians to get rid of cat odors. The new Simple Green cat odor remover really fits a niche. The advantage is that it's a soap at the same time as an odor-eater, so it cleans the associated dirt and grime very nicely. I may still use the (expensive!) vet-recommended product, but only after cleaning a much larger area with Simple Green's odor remover. The smell that is left is pleasant and doesn't linger long. I'm putting this into my "landlord's bag of tricks." It's a heavy bag.

We have five cats that have occasional accidents. I got this for my wife since she prefers to use green products. She used this twice and won't use it any more. She had two problems with it, neither having to do with the ability to clean. First, she's odor-sensitive to the point that she makes her own bar soap because commercial soaps have too much fragrance. This cleaner has an overpowering perfumed odor that even I found objectionable and the odor persists after it has dried. Second, the cleaner contains an ingredient, sodium laureth sulfate, that she doesn't consider to be green and doesn't want to use around the cats because it is a skin irritant and may have other negative health effects.

I first found this product at Petsmart. I have many cats and found most products lacking when dealing with cat odor. Of all the different products I had tried, I found this to be the best. When Petsmart no longer carried it, I searched online to find out where I could buy it.

Simple Green has wonderful pet stain and odor remover products for cats and dogs. I found the cat and dog stain remover products at Home Depot on-line and they were delivered (no charge) to my local Home Depot store. Our local cat and dog rescue group uses the products and they are very effective and safe for removing pet stains and odors.

Simple Green cleans well and smells great. I prefer it to all other cat cleaning solutions.
