Each kit of garage door openers shown at the homedepot.com site shows exactly what you are getting in the set. When purchasing alway buy the kit that comes with all the peripherals that you want and need. Buying the lowest prices kit and demanding that the manufacturer give you the part for free is not a fair practice.

Various reasons can cause such an issue and may not be the GDO's fault. An unbalanced door or spring that is too loose. It is also advisable that you contact the manufacturer first to be sure you are about to buy the right motor for the job. If you called our tech support team they may have been able to resolve the issue over the phone. All of our garage door opens are set to UL standards. If you are using a 1/2 hp gdo on a 2 car garage door then I would recommend a 3/4 hp and it would operate faster. Before buying anything, I urge you to call the manufacturer for information so you can purchase fully informed and not having buyer's remorse.

Garage opener looks nice and small but the rail itself the chain travels around is not strait it’s not strait. I had to adjust the bracket a bit canted so the motor wouldn’t look sideways.

This opener has great potential, but the biggest flaw is...
This opener has great potential, but the biggest flaw is that it can't be used on backup power. It forces the door down so hard that it bends the rail to "auto-adjust" it's force killing the supplied voltage. I would love to see a physical down limit switch and a manual force adjustment. Otherwise it is a very nicely made product that is easy to install.

The opener is very quiet although slow. The remote range is pitiful and no identifiable antenna. When I asked the company, they said I had to buy another part. The app works just fine.
