I ordered 4 of these and after installing them I was impressed with the quality and ease of installation so I ordered 4 more for another cabinet. Very happy with all 8 of the Slide-A-Shelves.

I did a ton of research because I didn't want to spend a fortune but also knew this is a one time purchase and wanted to get it right. Most other options wasted vertical space that I didn't want to lose. I found this product from pics with the reviews of one of the competitors-the reviewer said and showed how these were better. Once a saw the customization, the space efficiency, and reviews, I new the slightly higher price would be worth it. I absolutely love them!!

Great product. Wish I’d known about this before we remodeled our kitchen a few years ago. Very helpful as we get older to pans dishes and supplies stored on lower shelves. Very important to read all the measuring info. I made sure to give myself extra room to get drawers past side frames and so did they so I wasted an extra 1/4” on each side. Not near the problem being too tight would be. If cabinets have a front lip 3/16” or higher a spacer under the rails will be required. Wish they offered those too. 1/4 x 2” strips in mouldings worked perfectly.

I was very impressed with the quality of the shelves. The ordering process was easy and very detailed. The videos and printed material regarding installation was also great. I”m a wood worker and have made my own pull out shelves. I can’t make them for any less money than these cost. I will definitely buy more of these.

Front measurements off by 1/8 inch so had to sand it down to avoid catching. An anoying issue that is obvious and should have been avoided. Had the same fault on both shelves in my order.. you need to speak to your warehouse people or check your machines

I ordered two shelves and the process went smoothly. The form you fill out for measurements is succinct, thorough, and easy to use. The quality of the shelves was a big surprise. They are extremely well built with high quality rails. The appearance is stellar. Really great value. I was beyond satisfied and just ordered 4 more slide-a-shelves. The detailed instructions show that this company cares deeply about the customer's experience.

I was going to have a cabinet makes construct and install slide out shelves but they were $400 each. So I searched the HD website and found Slide a Shelf. I called the manufacturer direct to get a link to put in sizes and place my order on HD website. After reading the measurement guide from them, I placed my order. The cost was roughly 1/3 of what the cabinet maker was. However, it did not include installation. I was determined to install these myself, not ever doing them before. After two days of emptying the shelves in my pantry and installing Slide a Shelves, i added contact paper to the drawers and I was done. My wife got to put everything back. Success!

Although my kitchen has a lot of lower cabinets it was hard to utilize the space. Adding the sliding shelves has completely transformed the functionality of the cabinets. I installed 2 slides in each cabinet, doubling capacity and creating easy access. Ordering the Slide-A-Shelf product was well defined and easy. The shelves arrived ahead of expected delivery and were well packaged. The shelves are excellent quality..I ordered the pre finished birch. I would highly recommend this product for anyone who wants to improve access to lower cabinets.

VERY HAPPY with the drawers. They slide easily in and out. The drawer box quality is excellent. Suggestions: 1-The order form should ask for height of the inside bottom lip and let the customer know if a shim will be required. 2-Please elongate the template to provide holes for the back screws as well. 3-Label the railings to correspond with the drawers. 4-The railing clips for removing the drawer are a soft plastic/rubber – I suggest a stronger material for the clips.

Easy install and wow, what a difference! Much better utilization of available space. As we get a little older, it really became a chore to access lower shelves. We installed slide a shelf in every cabinet and now that item used once every month or so is easily attained.

Worked perfectly! Great design and the included template worked well. I’ve never installed something like this before but took my time, got a little advice from my husband and did it all myself :)

I needed some extra storage space in my RV, and created a huge hole removing a 1970's vintage microwave, but thought I might have to go to a cabinet maker ($$$) to turn the cavity into storage space. Then I stumbled on this option, as well as the custom cabinet door program. In the end, I spent around $200 for both, which is less than I'd expected to do the project for. The quality of the drawer seems to be first-rate, as is the hardware. The ordering / spec'ing process is dead easy, though I would suggest leaving a little "wiggle room" when spec'ing the size, just to accommodate the inevitable little nuances that you might not have considered.

58 year old kitchen has two feet deep cabinets that were a challenge at best because pans/lids would get lost in the back. Not any more! Slide-a-Shelf shelves were a game changer. Easy to install and extraordinarily well built. We love them.

As part of a semi-major kitchen cabinet upgrade, I ordered 8 of the Slide-A-Shelves. The investment was a big one as DIY projects go and I held my breath with every measurement I submitted. Fortunately, the explicit illustrated instructions provided by the manufacturer for measuring, and later for installing, these shelves ensured success. With two exceptions, I was able to install each shelf without having to re-drill screw holes. When our family visited at Christmas, I was able to throw open the cabinet doors and royally impress them with our "new" more organized and functional deep cabinets. Definitely recommend thoroughly reading the ordering and installation instructions and, per the age-old cliche, "measure twice, cut once".

I just purchased and installed two of these custom sliding shelves for a large island cabinet. We needed easier access to our pots and pans with better space utilization. My shelves are about 24" wide and are plenty strong with no sagging, even with all our heavy cookware on them. The ones we bought extend fully and have the soft close feature. The installation and measuring instructions are extremely long and overly wordy, like the complete opposite of Ikea instructions. (No lie, 10 full pages, tons of reading, to install just 4 screws! LOL) Overall I'm very happy with the quality and value of these shelves and can see them lasting a long time.

The shelf were perfect, easy to install.

The shelfs appear to be decent quality and the ordering process was ok, once I switched to a computer. The button to enter the ordering portal does not show up on mobile browsers. It took about ten days for the shelfs to be delivered and they appear solid and sturdy out of the box. The instructions were well written and the installation template worked well. the main issue I had is that after getting the first unit installed I could not get it to slide freely. I adjusted and readjusted the left rail but it would not slide freely. After removing the shelf from the rails I found that the left rear screw had been installed at an angle and the head was sitting too high and binding on the rail. I removed the screw and reinstalled flush, then it slid with out issue. What I found next surprised me, the second shelf had the exact same issue on the same screw. So this is a production issue and not an isolated incident.

Ordered 3 custon size shelves. Delivery was quicker than anticipated and installation was quick and easy. Very impressed with the detailed instuctions and the quality of the drawers/shelves. Would purchase more if needed

Well constructed and relatively easy to install though I had a little trouble getting one of the rail mounts straight since I had to lay on my stomach to access the shelf where I was putting it. Once straight, worked great. Of course that is why I installed this unit in the first place so I would be able to access my stuff without getting down onto the floor. The other one I installed a little higher up went much better.

Ordered a couple of slide outs (two is the minimum order) and was extremely pleased with the fit and quality of the product, the pictorial installation instructions, the inclusion of a nice square template for easier installation and excellent packaging that protects the product from most transportation damage. We already had a lower slide out but the upper half-shelf was just not efficient and hard to reach so I went searching high and low for a replacement that would be similar to the look and materials of the existing cabinets and fortunately found these. What a gem, built in the U.S.A. to your specs by a small business that cares about the details. Great product and fit. HIGHLY recommended. I did need to install a full shelf in the upper as these do need a "deck" to secure to. I subtracted an 1/8" on the clearance just in case but I did not have to, the order came in perfect for the opening and to what I ordered. If anything can be improved, I'd have selected a bit more "beef" on the rear screw set-up that holds the back "L" brackets just do to weight concerns and pull-out possibilities. That would be more of a precaution and safety margin, we did not experience any failures yet but still have twenty years to go! I ordered the "soft close" slides which I really like and are ten bucks more per shelf. The regular slides are shown under another item number that looks identical so know which item number you want prior to ordering so you get what you desire. You order on the manufacturers website and pay in the Home Depot website so be aware.

We ordered four of these custom fit shelves for our kitchen. Every one had to be a different width. Measured using the measuring guide. The shelves for the lower locations had to leave room for the hinges. They came cut to the correct width. And each shelf came with its own wooden template, which makes it easy to accurately install the slides. Followed the instructions, and it worked out great!

Online measuring how-to instruction very helpful. I was very impressed with the thoroughness and understandability of it. We measured - shelves fit perfectly. Lots of cussing from husband when putting in - but now that he's done one cabinet - he's willing to do more! Only gave it 4 stars for 2 reasons. One, if putting draw on a center (not bottom of cabinet) shelf - you really need to get some "L" brackets to attach to your original shelf. Otherwise when you pull shelf - back of shelf comes up and all items can crash to floor. They do warn you of this in the install instructions when your product arrives - but it would have been really nice if you included a couple in the hardware for the shelf. I mean really, what was the cost - and additional 1$ in hardware? Second, front of draw is unfinished wood. Very smooth and comfortable to touch but no gloss or seal on it. I guess I can stain it myself - but more work - this was a bit of a disappointment - I thought it had a finish on it. All that being said - I will still order more as they worked very well and they are much more economical then having a custom installation. I would recommend these!

Fit perfectly and were easy to install. Love the soft close. Makes it easy to find bowls and pans that were in the back and never used before.

Super happy with this drawer for my bottom cabinet where I had all the mixers, juicer, food processor and blender, etc. Before, I would actually not make something that required one of those machines because it was too difficult to get in and out of there. Now it is SO easy. I have it really loaded up, and it feels like it will handle the weight just fine. I was unsure about whether or not the manufacturer had received my measurements, so I called and they were very kind and helpful.

These "Slide-A-Shelves" are fantastic! We got so tired of bending over to find things on our lower shelves. I considered building this, but these were just a little more than the materials would have cost, and they are way better than I could have built. The construction is great, and the finish is without flaw. They provide very (VERY) complete instructions with lots of photos illustrating the installation. They also provide a template to help locate the slides on your shelves. They look great, and I am so glad to have gotten them in. We will be ordering three more for our other shelves, and will be considering them for other cabinets.

Perfect solution for your kitchen cabinets, you'll wifey will thank you, and you'll enjoy not kneeling and having to reach in. As long as you follow the instructions for taking the correct measurements, installing will be a breeze for the basic DIYer. Although a bit pricey, it is much cheaper than the alternative -designing your cabinets thru a swedish vendor! :-]# ...so waiting to pay-off first two sets to order another.

Extremely well made. Installation template made installing almost foolproof. We bought it to hold a Ninja Foodi Deluxe machine which is fairly heavy (about 20 lbs). Some parts at the base of the machine are too wide for the shelf, but we ground down the inside of the shelf sides just enough to accommodate the machine.

The instructions and quality were great. I had a little trouble with using the template for the rear screws. Overall I am very happy with the purchase and plan to get 3 more to complete the organization of my pantry.
