The 2nd one I purchased. The 1st one was for my elderly mother but I started using it until it stopped working. The clock lasted 2 yrs. On the front of the clock ONLY half of the digital (time) showed. I really like these clocks so I got another one & use the alarm and vibration settings.

The perfect option for my 92 yo father who is deaf. The movement element under his pillow wakes him. The only drawback is that there are a lot of buttons to set it up / change times. I can do it, but it confuses him. Also buttons are tiny.

My 85 year old Mom loves it. She's a little hard of hearing(though she won't admit it, lol) and the super loud alarm wakes her after a few beeps. She's afraid to use the vibrating egg because of the powerful vibration fearing it will give her a heart attack.
I would recomend this to anyone who has hearing problems or if you are just a deep sleeper. When I buy my next alarm clock I will definitely buy this.
