This is a very heavy duty and rugged extension for residential, farm or commercial use. It's 12/3 gauge wire size, 15 amp rating carries also the 5-15 NEMA (three prong male and female ends is more than ample to carry the load to whatever your needing it for. The 50 foot outside coating of the extension is chemical and oil resistant and is made in the "good old USA"! Distributed by Southwire Company, LLC. Carrolton, Georgia. Southwire was established in 1950 and is one of the world's leading manufacture of wire and cable. One of the familiar electrical wiring that is made there is Romex. I'll be using this extension to run from my DeWalt 6500 generator to my table saw, miter saw, circular saw while on the job where no electrical power is available.

I am a very happy right now that i found this extension cord b/c I lent one to my friend and he says he will get it back to me when he can find it.So i saw this in the store and online so I decided to get it.Best thing I ever did b/c I know my friend wont find the 50 ft extension i lent him. It is all good I am not mad at him.This cord is heavy duty and it is indoor /outdoor and that makes me even happier.

Perfect. This exactly meets my needs. I do my projects out of the garage and need a good extension cords for my bench tools. I have several old extension cords that are showing their age. Replaced a few couplings, and a few are twisting from years of use. So I feel safe again. This unit has sealed ends to keep it dry. Also very easy to clean just wipe it off. The weight is really good for 100 foot length. It is not light, but it's not unusably heavy. The 100 foot length is useful when I use the leaf vacuum or holiday lights. Still need a 25 foot. My impression is this will last a long time if I take of it.

I am so glad I got this new extension cord because i have misplaced one of my extension cords and it happen to be a 25 ft one.So now I have a new one I am going to put this one in my camping gear so when i go camping i will have a new extension cord.My wife has been telling me that we needed new cords for camping and now i have made her happy once again.

This is a really nice extension cord. The highest rated cord used prior to this was 12/3 and this is 11/3. It has a really nice thick round rubber shielding. The length is perfect for average use. Not too long not to short. The plug ending are large and round for easy grip. It’s heavy for an extension cord but it’s heavy duty. It’s black rubber but doesn’t leave any kind of residue when reeling it up. It should fit easily on a reel suitable for 50 or more feet. One feature that would be nice that is found on some cords is a lighted end. It’s not a deal breaker but a nice feature to have to indicate power is available or even locating end in darkness. Overall it’s a great cord. It seems average price for a cord this heavy rated.

Solid thick extension cord with large male/female electrical connectors. You immediately get the sense that this extension cord has been constructed to withstand some potentially harsher environments found in farm and/or other agricultural environments. The electrical connectors look over-sized and feel very strong and sturdy. The overall construction of the electrical cord is excellent.

In spite of having a number of battery powered tools I seem to always need either a longer or a larger extension cord for a corded tool or light. This 25-foot-long Southwire Heavy Duty Agripro Farm/Workshop cord set is constructed using Southwire’s chemical, oil and water-resistant Royal cord. Inside it has 3 conductor 12 AWG 60-degree C wire rated 15 amps @ 125 volts – 1875 watts. That is enough capacity to run any of my mobile corded tools even my big electric jackhammer. It is rated for both indoor and outdoor use. The molded in NEMA 5-15 connectors are very well designed with a raised portioned on both ends which facilitates both connecting and disconnecting even with heavy gloves on.

I've been very happy with this extension cord so far. I got it so I could move my welder around a little. Running a welder on an extension cord is certainly not ideal, but this 10 gauge cord is bigger than the 12 gauge that the 20A circuit is wired with, so I'm hoping for the best. It hasn't caused a problem so far. I've only had if for a short time, but this cord seems well built and heavy duty, and it's always good to have an extra around.

This heavy duty extension cord for our long driveway is perfect. We have many outdoor garden tools which require a cord for our home. Having a longer extension cord is needed every summer to use our garden trimmer. This cord is long and heavy which helps to keep it in place when using the lawn equipment. The connection plugs are large and keep the cord secure which prevents them from coming loose during the equipment usage. This cord stores easily and we hang it in our garage for frequent use throughout the seasons.

I just wanted a heavy duty extension cord for my portable generator so I can stage it as far from the house as possible. So it needed to be moister resistance. I will also use it whenever I need a HD cord around the workshop or garage. At about 12 #s it’s easy to coil up and put back in its place when you’re done with it. Southwire 67729001 Agripro Farm/Workshop Electric Cord is “MADE In The USA”. The quality shows through immediately. The 25ft 15amp cord is very supple for a 12/3 electric cord. So that means you will not have to fight with it to get it to lay on the ground or when it’s time to wrap it up for storage. Just a pleasure to use. The molded NEMA 5-15 end connections fit securely. This cord is meant for rugged use. It's UL listed. SJTOW (Stranded Junior Thermoplastic, Oil and Weather resistant). Farm and ranch use. It's just plain heavy duty. Agripro cord also comes in light duty 16/3, medium 14/3, heavy duty 12/3, extra heavy duty 10/3, 10/3 is recommended for generators. Excellent extension cord. This type cord would make an awesome power cord for 110/125v 15amp machinery. This checks all the boxes.

A do it all extension cord. This Southwire AgriPro farm and workshop cord is incredibly versatile. First, the temperature range covers the extremes of minus 58F to 221F. Unlike some cold weather cords, this one has a smooth firm cover on the wire. I have used cold weather cords that were encased in rubber that felt like chewing gum on a warm day. Those cords were easily abraded and damaged in use. The AgriPro cord seems tough and durable, while still being flexible. While this is a 12/3 cord, it is not too heavy or difficult to move around and use with portable tools. The specs say 6.5 pounds and that is pretty much what the cord weighs on my scale. Another thing I really appreciate, is that this cord is made in the United States. I am much more confident that this cord is manufactured within standards. I have repeatedly been disappointed by other brands of offshore manufactured products that were not to standards and failed during use around the house. I have finally reached the point of not purchasing anymore of those. Lastly, this AgriPro cord is oil, chemical and water resistant. I have a couple 12/3 Yellow Jacket cords that I use around the wood shop, but I think the the AgriPro cord will be perfect for outdoor and general yard use. The current HD description for this cord classifies it as a medium duty cord, though the HD page also says that a 12/3 cord is heavy duty. Southwire labeled the cord as heavy duty. In any case, a 12/3 should help with reducing voltage drops for longer runs. Couple of things worth mentioning, are the plugs are not lighted. Southwire does offer cords with lighted plugs, if that is something you need. The plugs also are in an interesting shape. Not something that seems to be an issue. Just different than other plugs I have used. Regardless, I did try the plugs in all of my outdoor tools, and the plugs fit securely and perfectly without interference. There are some offshore plugs that will not work with my tools. This is a really nice cord, and I think it is going to be excellent for working around my yard.

No amount of mud, slop, excrement, or dirt is going to affect this extension cord. Heavy built, this 12/3 100 foot will get the job done. Rated for 15AMP, this cord will handle the big stuff like generators, power equipment, and more. The rubber coating is thick and both the plug and receptacle are bulky and heavy duty, meaning it will last and will protect your connection. This cord is a keeper for sure! Southwire 25 ft. 12/3 SJTOW AgriPro Farm/Workshop Extension Cord, Black This cord is very heavy duty, 12/3 all copper wire. The cord is Rated for minus 58°F to 221°F (minus 50°C to 105°C). I have several 15 amp power tools in my shop and this is an ideal cord for them. The cord is very flexible and i really like oversized, molded plug. I will not have to worry about either the male or female ends going bad. With this cord you will not have to worry about snagging it. The cord is built tough and it is also highly resistant to chemicals and oils. A real pro for me is that the cord is Made in the USA. If you need a high quality 25 foot cord this is the one to get.

This is a medium duty extension cord but feels heavy duty. It has a durable insulation wrapping. The material is flexible. The plugs are also substantial and plug in securely. The cord rolls up easily without tangling as you wrap it. I found that the black exterior material really shows light colored dirt. In my example it picked up a lot of drywall dust and this might be due to the texture of the rubber-like exterior. Definitely a good extension cord for a work environment. The 25 foot length is appropriate for small rooms and garages.

This is a decently quality made product. The cord is very flexible so can be rolled, stored, tied and secured easily. It is chemical and oil resistant and actually some what light weight for a medium duty extension cord. Both the male and female ends of the the seem solid and the plugs hold securely from both ends. Price is about what you would expect from this type of cord.

Southwire 25 ft. 14/3 SJTOW AgriPro Farm/Workshop Medium-Duty Extension Cord, Black has a nice quality feel. The flexibility of the cord is surprising the rugged coating feel comfortable and yet strong. It comes with large heavy duty plug and both parts are easy to manipulate with heavy duty gloves on. These cords are available in different color jackets and various lengths.

Very happy to find a usa made real copper extension cord at a great price.
