Does NOT work on Worms

Around the middle of August my trusty Jack Russell's killed a mole. I immediately started looking for evidence of worms. Yep, and the moths. I immediately went to Home Depot and saw this product, purchased, and treated my lawn. I thought SHREW caught it early and my problem was solved. Another mole bit the dust thanks to the yard patrol, party at night with moth chasing, and more brown grass. I went and bought more expecting a different result. I have treated THREE times and after strike three and totally destroyed grass I have called in Pest Control. They use a spray that is Bifenthrin 7.9%, and spray it in the evening when the moths are in the grass and worms surface to destroy more of my yard. Another lesson of buying a diamond for a dime (in this case $106.17), and ending up with a diamond not worth a dime. Well, other than a month long Jack Russell party! Bought this to remedy an ant problem in my back yard. Seemed simple enough. I bought a bag that covered 12,500 feet to cover a less than 4,000 sq ft area. Spread according to directions (drop spreader with cross pattern) and watered as directed. Two days later with no rain I saw no impact to existing any hills (lots of activity and new hills had popped up). On third day I applied product again using same method. Did not sprinkle as rain came in a couple hours after second covering.
Two days later, saw "minimal impact" to ant problem (I think the rain did more to the ant hills than the product did to the ants). Three days after I saw plenty of new hills popping up.
Bottom line: Try another product....this one does NOT work against simple lawn ants! (Will be submitting a refund request from mfgr).

I live in an area that has exceptionally sandy soil. The product works well....for a few days when ant hills reappear again. This far I've had to apply four applications to curb the ants (lawn looks like the surface of the moon with the ant hills projecting through the grass).
Likely the product could last with their statement of "Season-Long Control" if the lawn had less sand and more sandy loam or clay.

Applied this product in the liquid fungi and insect version due to patchy brown spots in late May. Not only did the insects disappear but it also promoted growth in my lawn making it thicker.

Within one week of application my lawn started turning green again where grubs had completely turned the areas brown. I was skeptical of how this product would work because the cost was much lower than other options but I am very pleased with the results.
