I set up the bag as per instructions. Before I had a chance to hang up the bag, I was swarmed by Japanese beetles.

We put these out late spring and they really work. They draw the insects away from our garden and the bags fill up really quickly.
I place the bags about 30’ upwind from the garden so that the breeze carries the scent down to the garden. On a sunny day you can see the bugs swarming the bags to get in.

I was skeptical that this product would work, but after 4 hrs of setting it out there were about 50 beetles in the bag.

Haven’t opened yet. Invasion begins early part of July usually. Used similar brand last year! Worked well then. Japanese beetles are awful creature insects. They ruin linden tree leaves, hisbiscus plants & others. Not having to handle the bug is a real plus. These bags sell out fast once they crawl out of the ground in the summer.

We're sorry to hear that the product didn't provide the expected results. o be most effective, the trap should be located about 30 ft downwind of foliage to intercept beetles heading toward it. Japanese Beetles were eating the leaves on my perennial Hibiscus plant. I wish I had purchased the Bag of Bug Japanese Beetle trap sooner. It worked great.
