Too soon to tell. But, so far so good. One more application recommended this year. And since the product is not a pesticide, it takes time to see results. I am happy that so far this year I have a beautiful lawn that has had only biologics like milky Spore a s nematodes applied.

Hard to say how effective it will be since it takes a few months to be absorbed into the ground. I followed directions so I hope it is as effective as was advertised.

I applied this to about 1 acre of lawn, just after aerating and before two weeks of rainy weather in April. When stripping some grass to plant a new tree in May, I noticed many grubs that looked very sickly, so I am hoping this stuff is working. I found the best way to apply this powder to a large area of grass is by taping the box to a hand dolly, tying a 4' string to the dolly (which drags along the ground to give you quick spacing measurement) and using a plastic spoon taped to the end of a painters pole. You can move 4' increments and then scoop and drop the little piles in sets of 3. Walking backward with the dolly seemed to make it the easiest to maintain the spacing alignment. Wasn't as bad as I had anticipated.

Applied the Milky Spore but will have to wait until next summer to see how effective it will be. Crossing my fingers it will. Did not use the dispenser tube (hope to return it) as it appeared it would be "hit or miss" on the amount of spore applied. I used an alternate way to more accurately to apply the spore.

The product was very sticky, like it had gotten wet. I had used another brand a decade ago and it was nothing like this. Also the bag was white and I noticed after opening that the directions and information were printed on the inside, like it was turned inside out. Really odd, so I returned it.

Worked like a charm!
I learned about this product from an old lawn & garden guy. I wanted something that would work without finding a bunch of dead birds everywhere. I was skeptical at first as I did find some grubs that summer. He assured me that it was working and the existing grubs would in effect spread it around the entire lawn. When they crawl through it, they become the host and when it kills them the colony consumes them. In time, my entire lawn was grub proof. When I built my current house, that was one of the first things I applied to my lawn. After about 16 years, I added a second application as insurance. Tip: Be patient, read the instructions and use the tube applicator.

I see from other web sites that this product is only good for one species of Grub and that you may have the others in your lawn that this product will not kill. That may be why some people say it does not work for them.

The dispenser was a tube that easily leaked powder as it was being filled. Not a good item. Would recommend not purchasing the tube but just using a tablespoon to measure and drop the patterned amount of powder around your yard. Hoping the powder saves the lawn from further damage from the Japanese beetles as time goes on.

        Great results.
I had an awful problem with the Japanese beetles. They chewed everything in my yard, there was so many of them! I put this down about 3 years ago, and it worked the very next season. This year, I've only seen one adult. I also made sure to put it right along the border with my neighbors, so it would spread to their yards too. I love this stuff. It really works!

I'm shopping for this again having last used it somewhere in the 8-10 years ago timeframe. It worked great and kept them away for a long time. Love that it is safe for my dogs in the lawn. You do have to pay attention not just to the directions but to the overall timing related to season and the right size follow-up rain to get it into the soil.

            Not at all worth it
Used this two years ago, product is said to protect for ten, I now have an infested lawn of grubs. I followed application directions to a nth degree and poof grubs are here! Won't use this again, application was a pain for it to only be effective for 20% of the stated life expectancy for the product. I'd rather do an annual application with a spreader like the fertilizer. Never again for me!
