I got this for my wife to transfer from her wheelchair to the bed and from the bed back into the wheelchair. This gives her added stability and confidence to do this every night.

I am a disabled veteran. This product was purchased by the VA. This product is a lifesaver. I have severe balance issues and this really helps not only with standing up but getting my balance before I take a step. The organizing pockets keep things like my TV remotes and other things within easy reach instead of having to stretch to my bedside table. I didn't know if I would like it but when it came and my son installed it I fell in love.

My aging husband is losing upper body strength. This bed rail, recommended by our daughter, who is an occupational therapist, is one more product that can help him be more independent. He no longer struggles to sit up in bed or get out. We bought the model with the pivoting cane, which helps him stand more sturdily and move away from the bed, over to his walker. What a quality product! I had a bit of trouble fitting the bar under our very heavy mattress, but with enough maneuvering, it finally went under and was easily adjusted to the proper location by the side of the mattress.

My husband has cancer and cannot get out of bed without something to help pull himself up and then to steady himself getting back to bed. He recently had a colostomy and needed a better way to get in and out than what he had been doing.

I have this bedrail at my house when my mother comes to visit and when we take a road trip. Very easy to set up and take down. She likes to have it when we go on trip together.

I bought this for my 91-year-old mother, who rolled out of bed while sleeping the other day. This not only keeps her safe in bed, but helps her get in and out more easily. And it was easy to assemble and install. Would recommend it for anyone with elderly parents!

Bought this product to assist my husband with bed transfers. Adds independence and security. Feels sturdy and secure. Assembly was straightforward. As others have mentioned, attaching the strap around bed frame was challenging because of mattress weight, I needed help with that. Pleased with product so far.

After we finally got this Bed Rail assembly we were very please with how study it was which created a sense of confidence in the product. We stress "after assembly" because the assembly directions were very difficult to understand. We stuggled greatly with the assembly and during this period we were worried whether this poduct was any good.

I purchased this to help my loved one get up and it worked pretty well.

Bought this for my 92 yr old father who just had his hip replaced. The side swing arm is a perfect addition to help stabilize him after he stands up, and to position himself as he sits on the bed to get into bed. Its just large enough to work as needed and does not get in his way getting in/out of bed. The pouch will be super helpful to store his water bottle and other sundries he keeps by his bed.

Got this because my husband has a crushed hip and is awaiting total hip replacement. This bed rail has helped hi so much with being able to pull himself up out of bed as well as helping him stabilize to transfer to his walker

My physical thereapist recommended this device upon going home after an extensive lumbar surgery hospital stay. would have given it 5 stars but the directions were not very thorough.

NEEDED ASSISTANCE IN GETTING OUT OF BED. GAVE ME SOMETHING TO GRAP ON TO LIFT MYSELF UP AND TO THE SIDE OF THE BED. EASY TO INSTALL.

I bought this for my 95 year old mother who fell and broke her hip and had to be operated. It helps her a great deal to get in and out of the bed. She is already walking again after her hip replacement.

I bought this for my mom to help her get in and out of bed following a recent surgery. Installation took me about 20 minutes by myself. It was easy to do. Mom has been very thankful that we were able to get this with next day delivery and that she can be independent in getting in and out of bed by herself.

My husband was initially skeptical, but he's found it very helpful getting in and out of bed. My only criticism is that it us a little difficult for one older person ( me) to put together. The parts move around until locked in place A second person to stabilize it during assembly would be useful. Also, since parts of it go between the mattress and box spring for stability, another person to help lift the mattress would help a lot. In addition, the illustrations in the directions need to be larger for older people with decreasing visual acuity

First purchase has prevented several falls from the bed. Second purchase was for 98 year old who has trouble standing from bed.

Despite putting over 200 pounds of body weight on the frame, it does not slip, does not move. The product gives a lot of security knowing that it can be depended on and that it will not fail.
