Just the right size for all the nasty extra tree branches we can reach and trim so we save a little $$$$ when we need to call the tree guys. If it stays as sharp for as long as the last Stanley that I still have and use for easier jobs, I will be a very happy camper. My sawing needs are minimal but now and then I need the option. It has worked well on board sizes from lattice to standard fence boards (8 X 1 I think). Have not had to go after a 2 X 4 yet but am sure it will do fine. Thank You.

My Stanley Fat Max kept disappearing from the house because my partner wanted to use it in his shop. So I got him his own. We both love our Fat Maxes! They’re just the right size and make clean cuts on tree branches, lumber, insulation.

Does the job

Great hand saw. Why don't you carry more hand saws in the store so I don't have to order online and it takes 7-10 days shipped to a store. Some of us still like to shop in your store but you are driving us away for your lack of inventory.

Used it to cut up to 2" branches, smooth cutting. Length of saw allowed easy access to tangled branches.

Upgraded my sump pump and discharge pipes, and needed something to cut PVC quickly and cleanly. This fit the bill.

These saws are great. It fits in my toolbox, so it's always there when I need it. Unlike hand saws of the past, it's VERY sharp, and stays sharp because of the hardened teeth. It's faster than plugging in my electric saw, and quieter.

Not a refined saw, but if you buy this, that probably not what you are looking for. Its got a pretty quick cut and a good price, not going to get much better for the price.

This saw is easy to handle and cuts nicely. I'm glad we have this in our toolbox.
