I like this classic style of thermos. It reminds me of the past when things were solidly-built, and camping. The 20oz size is good for normal usage, I like how it is insulated because I keep cold drinks for work and enjoy them since it is often hot where I live, and the matte black finish looks great on the thermos. It seems solidly-built and high quality, easy to clean and just generally a quality product. It pairs nicely with a Stanley lunchbox that I have and use for work. Overall highly recommended.

I really like this classically styled thermos, it's like something from a bygone era. It's a good size and shape, looks great, has an awesome finish, and fits nicely with the Stanley lunchbox that I already have. Like something my grandfather would have brought to work. Insulated is a plus, since I often have to work on jobsites where I keep my lunch in my truck in the hot sun, and at least my things will stay somewhat cool for a while. Unknown if it works the same for hot drinks, since I live in a desert-ish area that I mostly only have cold drinks. Seems easy to clean and take care of, and durable for a long useful life. Highly recommended.

This is great thermos. I totally love the timeless vintage design without looking dorky. It looks super solid. What is super nice is that you can put in the dishwasher, unlike many others. It does keep the coffee hot, it does not spill in your handbag and it looks totally awesome! This is great rendition and it should last forever, it's really well made.

Stanley Classic 20 oz. Matte Black Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated Thermos: Now this is a thermos. It is nice to see a great quality thermos. This thermos has beef to it. It holds 20 ounces of liquid. It is rated to keep hot for 20 hours, 24 hours for cold, and 4 days, for iced. The base and cup are stainless steel. The cap has a rubber gasket for sealing for leak proof posturing. Do not be alarmed if the cap seems to be off tilt when you tighten it down, it will straighten when you tighten and seal the gasket. This threw me off too, until I saw what was happening. The cup pushes on then screw tightens down to secure it. The inside of the thermos is awesome. I love all Stanley products and this is no exception. In fact this is my second Stanley thermos bottle because my son “borrowed” my original thermos when he went back to work when COVID backed off. It’s great because it does well with both hot and cold beverages. It also is great for soups which I load up pretty often, especially in the colder weather seasons. It also cleans up fast and easy and the dishwasher safe fester is another big plus.

Have over the years seen this type of thermos numerous times. Coworkers used them to bring in hot or cold items for lunch. Being retired now I do enjoy taking day trips here in Florida. So, I thought the Stanley Classic 20 fl. oz. Hammertone Green Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated Thermos would be great for my trips. I plan on using it for hot things like coffee and soups and cold drinks. When I first got it, I was impressed with the quality of the thermos. It seems very sturdy and I am pretty sure it can withstand some tough handling should that happen. The amount of time it can keep the contents hot or cold are quite impressive. Have already tried it with cold liquids and will be filling it up with hot coffee on my next day trip!

This is a very classic looking 20oz thermos. The lid is very secure and the top that goes over the lid can be used as a cup - and because it is insulated also, hot beverages will stay hot longer and cold beverages won't sweat. I use this thermos to keep crushed ice in while I'm working out in the field driving a lot when I just don't feel like putting a whole ice chest together on a short. In Arizona, an iced tea can turn in to a hot tea if left in the car for an hour so I can continue to add ice after each stop and keep drinking iced tea!

This is a great thermos. It is made by Stanley and it's a 20 ounce. It's lightweight which makes it easy to carry around. It is stainless steel so it won't rust which is great and it is vacuum insulated so you don't have to worry about spills. The best thing about this thermos is it will keep the contents hot or cold for 20 hours. This is also a great price on this, some of the other brands are much more expensive.

The Stanley Classic 20 oz. Matte Black Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated Thermos has exactly the features I want in the thermos. First, at twenty ounces it is the right size. Easy to tuck into a tote bag or a backpack. Second, it leaks almost no heat. If you fill it with hot liquid you will not feel any heat on the outside of the thermos. I tested it by preheating with water from our kitchen faucet and then added ground coffee and very hot water from the microwave. The temperature was about 172 degrees. I checked it twelve hours later and the temperature was 136 degrees. That is outstanding insulation. Since the thermos is stainless steel it is rugged. The last big thing me personally is the the coffee still tasted great. It had not picked up any metallic taste at all. The thermos is made with Type 304 stainless steel. It has a minimum of 18% chromium and 8% nickel. That makes it food good, and it looks great.

I took my thermos with me on the ferry to commute to Seattle and it kept my coffee warm as if I just walked out of the house with it. I really like the styling and quality of the thermos and will use it daily as my commuting increases while I go into the office more. The size is great for my commute and it can fit into the cup holder of my car, but was more at home in my back pack. The integrated cup was a nice classic touch and I’m proud to see it was designed in Seattle and ethically sourced in China, per the bottom of the bottle.

It sure looks like the one my dad had. But true to its reputation for durability it still works well. I find the screw on lid a little tricky. I really had to pay too much attention making sure I didn't cross thread it. 20 ounces is a little on the small size. The cup/cap is double-walled and provides adequate protection from hot liquids.Not my dad's thermos overall.

This is a review of the Stanley Classic 20 fl. oz. Hammertone Green Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated Thermos. This is a classic indeed. It is the perfect size for slipping in a back pack. It kept my water hot over night. It was a little cooler than when I put it in there, but it was still hot enough to make instant coffee or rehydrating a freeze dried meal. The cup is 8 oz, but it is really closer to six unless you want to fill it straight to the brim. Still, six is a great size for a stick of 3 in 1 coffee.

Stanley thermoses are the best available and I've been using them for over 40 years. They are rugged, and really keep your hot beverages steaming hot and your cold beverages cold all day. This STANLEY CLASSIC 20 FL. OZ. HAMMERTONE GREEN STAINLESS STEEL VACUUM INSULATED THERMOS is the same one my dad used in his lunchbox every day. Easy to fill with a nice wide neck, has a good sized attached cup/lid and can withstand a construction site day after day.

I am a tea drinker. Every morning I have 2 cups of hot tea. A habit I don’t think I will soon get over. It was for this reason that I selected the 20 ounce Stanley thermos. I was planning a trip to see my folks, who live eight hours away and needed a way to keep my tea hot for the trip. The description indicated it would keep liquids hot for up to 20 hours. In an effort to test this, I filled it with hot water a couple of days before my trip and tested it about 20 hours later. While it wasn’t as hot as when I initially filled it, it was still pleasantly warm enough to drink. I especially like that you do not have to remove the stopper completely in order to pour the liquid from the thermos. You simply unscrew it a couple of turns and pour through the spout in the stopper. As with most thermoses, this one also comes with a cup that can be used if needed. Since I only intend to use this for hot liquids I did not test it for the cold but it lived up to my expectations for the hot liquid so I’m sure it will do the same for cold. My family has used Stanley thermoses for many many years so I know it’s a high-quality thermos that will last for a long time.

This is another great thermos by Stanley. Stanley makes some of the best thermos that will with stand just about any thing and still keep your drink nice and hot for you. This thermos will keep your drink hot or cold for up to twenty hours and if you like you can put soup in it to eat later. It is BPA free. I have used there thermos for years and ran them thru the works and they have never let me down yet. On this thermos I love the twist and pour stopper it has for better control. The lid that comes with it is insulated and will even double has a drinking lid It even comes with a life time warranty. I highly recommend Stanley thermos.

This review is for the 20 ounce green hammered Stanley thermos. I ordered this to go with my Stanley lunch box and it fit and matched perfectly. I ordered this product online and it arrived on time and was packaged well. It's made from 18/8 stainless steel and is BPA free. It has double wall vacuum insulation that claims to keep hot drinks hot for 20 hours, cold drinks cold for 24 hours, and iced drinks cold for up to 4 days. The lid serves as a cup, and everything is dish washer safe. The only negatives are that it can be hard to wash without a long brush, and that it's made in China.

The Stanley green insulated thermos is an old time classic. I used to have my original back in the early 1980's when I worked swing shift in a cold area. The Stanley Thermos keep hot things warm and cold things cold for an entire day at a time. The new model is smaller (22 oz) but it works the same way. They show a spec on the thermos that it keeps things cold for 20 hours, hot for 24 hours, and ice drinks cold for up to 4 days. What more do you need. I got this for my son in his 20's and his first comment was this is better made than a Yeti. Old school is back in style I guess:) The only knock I have is the Thermos, like so many things today, is made in China. My original which is still in excellent condition after 40 years was US made. Maybe that will change in the future. Overall you cannot beat a Stanley green thermos. It will be with you for a lifetime.

This thermos has the retro classic look of a thermos I had many years ago, but not the danger of dropping it and ending up with a broken glass liner. This one has a stainless steel liner with a double wall vacuum insulation. It holds 20 ounces. They claim it will hold hot liquids hot for 20 hours, and cold liquids cold for 24 hours which should cover any of my needs.

As the product title indicates, this is a classic that takes me back to my younger days when I'd take my breakfast with me on the boat to fish. This thermos is what Thermos is all about such that it's built like a tank that has survived 4000 foot drops, -70 degree wind chills, category 5 hurricanes and speeding bullets? Whatever, it's been tested to keep hot items hot for 20 hours, cold items cold for 24 hours and iced items for 4 days. All this with the classic functionality of using the lid as a cup. Comes with instructions. Every household (or the person who fishes) needs one.

My thermos keeps my coffee hot from 5 pm until the early morning hours when it's almost time to leave work. Also, for those having problems with their stopper sitting flush, remove the rubber gasket and put it back on upside down (so that the open portion of the gasket faces towards the coffee). Your stopper will now sit flush. I just figured this out after months of having that problem. Also, that is a brand new gasket that Stanley replaced for me for FREE after I lost mine while cleaning the top in a rush. Best customer service out there

Overall very good but after 7 hours coffee was only warm not hot even when i prefilled with hot water to warm up the thermos. OTOH if this can't keep it hot nothing will.
