Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. The door arrived earlier than originally estimated. No issues with service. No issues with installation. The pet door works fine for my 100 lb dog. The window lets in a lot of light which I like. I installed a custom cellular blind, which looks great. I notice a big improvement in room temperature and energy efficiency.

Came just the way I expected it to. Great quality dog door and really clear gas.

Nicely built door and functionally perfect size to replace expensive glass door (only used door and not jamb) so dogs could go outside at they please. Used self centering drill bit to create perfectly centered hinge screw holes in door after moving hinges to match existing jamb hinge locations. The dog door is sturdy and works great though not insulated very well (I could see straight outside through side closure tabs holes/spaces). I disassembled it and cut and added adhesive felt strips around the entire perimeter on the indoor underside of the frame, primed and painted all to match by old door (interior and exterior colors) and caulked outside frame perimeter and a few vertical places near the swinging door portion to reduce more air infiltration. With steel skin the inside or door is cold to touch in winter but really like the look and functionality.

Easy install, good build quality. My 80lb dog loves it.

Everything I wanted in this door. It is for our kitchen and the purpose was to get rid of my pet door in my office sliding door which was cold and drafty. This door doesn't disappoint. The dog door portion keeps heat in and cold out. We did have some 30mph gusts the other day and it did swing in a few times but hardly noticeable. It replaced an old duel pain full window door that was really quite cold. It looks good as well. I installed this in about 3 hours and have never put in a pre hung door before, thank god for you tube. The only PITA was the header didn't fit perfectly and was out an 1/8" or from the Left jamb and i had to sand it level for the trim to fit.

Door is very solid and pet door keeps the cold out and shuts tight. Our cats learned to go in and out through the pet door in a few days even though the pet door seemed to be made of a heavier plexiglass than they are used to. The pet door shuts quickly but doesn't hurt them. I give the door 5 stars.

Love this pet door! It must have a magnet installed so the door swings a few times when my dog goes out but then stops. It is easy to open and close the cover at night and in the mornings. Everything about this door is worth 5 stars!

Door works and looks great. My 85 pound German Sheppard easily goes in and out of the door. Door seals back up nicely after the dog goes through.

Excellent door. I hired someone locally to install. I was first going to have someone associated with Home Depot to install and even had them come out to look at the job. They said the door would not work...WRONG. It worked perfectly. I believe, like usual, Home Depot, was trying to up-sale the install and/or door. If you have the experience and skill, install yourself or hire someone other than Home Depot.

Door was shipped to store, no damages. We had the door professionally installed. It is a very nice door, the doggy door is perfect for our sheltie. The installer did not have any issues with installation.

This door was substituted for another door by home depot that I wanted. After almost a week, I really dint have anything bad to say. I mean, its a door. Everything works fine, doggie door is good (maybe better then average after market doors). The doggie door seems to have a strong magnetic seal which is good for my utility bill but my big standard labradoodle even though previously trained to use a doggie door by the breeder, is a bit hesitant to push the doggie door open because of the magnets strength. Im sure she will get use ti it.

Great door for cars and dogs under 30 pounds. Looks fantastic with the glass top allowing sunlight through. Very pleased Professional installation is recommended.

Would not call the dog door extra large More like a small

This is a very small XL dog door and it is very low on the door. I recommend that you look at the door dimensions before buying. It’s a heavy well made door though.

Took great safety measures to ensure the door wouldn’t be damaged. Its made with great quality and fit perfectly. Well worth the money.

It's now been two years since I installed this door. We have been very happy with the door. With a nice coat of paint and nice hardware, this door can look nice. Despite it being a door with a doggy door. Which lets be real. Doggy doors have a way of looking tacky. I never installed a door before and this wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Plus the door is great quality. Well insulated and the pre installed doggy door survived two years of our 60+ Lb dogs.thankfully installing a new doggy door in the pre installed hole is a snap. Just make sure you measure the opening so you get the right size doggy door.
