This is a sturdy door, with a sufficiently large opening for a large dog. In addition, the dog door is dual pane for the best weather-proofing possible. It was an easy install also.

Great door! As with most folks, all I needed was the door and not the frame. I used my original hinges and modify the door to accommodate them. I also had to reposition the deadbolt and door knob in my frame as it didn’t line up. And after I installed the door I ordered the White Cordless Add On Enclosed Aluminum Blinds with 1/2 in. Slats, for 22 in. Wide x 36 in. Length Door Windows # 203607535. Installing the enclosure took less than 30 minutes and looks great.

Just what I wanted! I haven’t put it in yet but I am building a house and needed a doggy door. I found this one that already had one in it and it is unfinished so I can match it to the rest.

I had this door professionally installed and am very happy with it. The dog door is large enough for my basset hounds, and not too high to cause them any difficulty climbing in. The flap seems to insulate well and always returns to its fully closed position after use. My only unhappiness with the door, is that I wish the slide-in panel that covers the dog door was made of something sturdier than plastic. I swapped a full glass door for this one so I do still feel like it is safer from a security standpoint however I will be looking to replace that plastic panel with some thing a little more durable in time.

This is overall a great door and very easy for my dog to use. The only con I see is that very strong winds cause the door to swing open. So if there is a way to make the door a little heavier or improve the magnetic closure, but still easy to use that would give it 5 stars in my book.
