Very cheap material/brackets and the blind wouldn’t even stay up when pulled down. Better off spending a bit more for something like Bali

There was no warning that this blind is non-standard and would not fit into the existing brackets, requiring a substantial amount of carpentry.

I will have to bring back one of the shades because the guy didn’t cut it right is still too long. Other than that I rate it at a four.

dissapointed in construction of moving parts. roller is made of plastic parts. thiis shade was not cheap. hoping the plastic components don't break. shade itself is good. does a good job with blocking out light.

Worked great. Blocks out the light as advertised.

Hardware is very cheap. Ends that are cut, frayed. I would not expect this system to last more than a year. They should be used as a temporary fix

The bracket broke to hold curtain.

It is not so easy to use. Would be better with a cord as sometimes it rolls all the way up and not easy to stop.

Easy to cut to size. The lock mechanism doesn’t always hold the shade in place.

I have purchased several of these shades, and would rate higher if the store was able to effectively and cleanly cut them to the measurements I provide. Home Depot's inability to do this properly had me cutting the last one myself, at home, with a bread knife. The cut was only a bit more ragged than what the store was able to do in the past, but more importantly, it was accurate, something they were not able to do.

Despite bringing in the old blind for sizing, the one I purchased was cut smaller than I think it should have been. I do not think this was the employee's fault, but rather the lack of instructions that come with the blind. When you get it home you have to remove a piece which makes it shorter than it was. Additionally, the cutting tool in the store needed to be sharpened so the one edge of the blind was somewhat ragged.

The shades don’t go up and down easily. The tension is missing. Some shades that are difficult to reach do not have a strong to pull them down. I have to climb on a stool to pull the shades down from the top.

But the moron at the Pinellas Park FL store cut all blinds 1/4 inch short. He was a moron.

I was told they didn’t make the old style roller shades anymore (which wasn’t true). Ended up getting this shade, which came with it’s own mounting brackets. Unfortunately, the brackets were too deep for the windows in our house. You would think they would make them to fit standard size windows…
