Absolutely!!
This is a great product. I have had mine many years and use it every winter. Today it stopped throwing out steam. So I wanted the same product and still had my box with receipt in it. Turns out that I purchased this in January 02, 2010 Wow 11 years so I have no complaints. I am waiting on an email to tell me when this is back in stock.

    Badly designed, but works well
I bought the one I own 5 years or so ago from HomeDepot in Fall River Mass. It's worked well all this time. It gets a little silted up from minerals, but it's never got moldy or nasty. BUT -and this is a *big* BUT- to refill the reservoir requires turning it upside down and, because of how tall it is, and that it can't stand by itself, holding it in both hands while sitting on the edge of the tub leaning over to fill it from the tap. You know what's going to happen one day: it's wet, and heavy, and awkward, and no matter how careful you are, one day it's going to slip from your hands and break when it hits the tub. I'm looking for a replacement reservoir.

    love it!
i've had used this humidifier for two winters, and this is the start of the third year. the unit might be a little bit different, but it looks the same and i wanted to comment on it since i've used it for several seasons. for me, winter means horribly dry heater air and very uncomfortable sinuses--using a humidifier while i sleep is the difference between having congested, bleeding sinuses every morning or breathing freely. i even take it with me when i take winter car trips to visit relatives--hotel rooms and guest bedrooms are much more comfortable. i selected this unit because i wanted a larger capacity tank (so you fill it a little less often) but still have it be portable. the tank's 1.5 gal lasts me 2-3 nights (8 hrs per night) with a humidity setting of 50% is 10' X 13' bedroom. the tank is easy to carry around because it actually screws closed (can't spill the water--unless you press on the release valve--don't do this) and has a carrying handle, which is the arc at the top of the unit. to fill the tank, you have to turn it upside down and unscrew its stopper/release valve (the port through which the water enters the humidifier proper). it's designed to balance on the edge of your sink while you fill it with your faucet hose, but if you have only a standard faucet or if your sink edge has a thick lip on it, you'll have to keep it upright with your hand and possibly tip it at an angle--this is how i fill mine and it's not troublesome to me. you can also set it in a bucket so you don't have to support it. also, i really liked this unit because of the range of humidity settings from 30, 40, 50, 60%; you can also just have it run continuously which i'd guess get you to 70-80%. if you haven't used an ultrasonic humidifier before, be aware that if your water has a high mineral content and you aren't filtering it, the mist that's produced will also contain these minerals and will leave a "dust" where the mist falls. i don't find this to be a problem, but just wanted to mention it. some humidifiers contain mineral filters, or you can filter your water. i don't have time or energy to worry about it, but i've made a point to put a runner rug (or grass beach mat) in front of the unit when i've used in a room with a wood floor. the unit doesn't make any more noise than a floor fan. i actually like the white noise and occasional water gurgle it makes as it runs just 5 ft from my head. it's the sound of soothed sinuses. :)

      Great product
I've had this unit for a year and a half in my son's room, and used it almost daily. It works well and is very quiet. It cycles on and off by itself when it reaches the set humidity level. It's fairly easy to clean and can be filled from the sink tap. I am planning to buy a second one for our new baby's room.

really liked this and worked well until I cleaned it!
Worked well but felt I should clean it - did so in accordance with maintenance instructions. After which no longer produced mist. Contacted Sunbeam who were not that helpful. Demineralization cartridges no longer manufactured by them and have never found the Cleanse Clean Solution they recommend. Sunbeam recommended a tablet they now make but have been unable to find it. Would think if Home Depot sell unit they would sell accessories for maintenance too! Shame as it was working well. Just out of warranty when it stopped working.
