Quality Product
Northern WI resident: Four (4) years ago I purchased this shovel for residential use. It is light weight and durable – it lasts. I have a five (5) year old three (3) stall poured concrete driveway with a medium brush texture. The blade edges will wear but that will be common on all shovels when dragging on a rough surface. I purchased another in February when they were on sale due to early weather warming conditions this year. I am in the process of ordering three (3) for company use due to the light weight and durability. It’s a good product and better than many others out there.

Not bad but spendy for the short lifespan
I have worn two wear edges off two shovels in three years. I also bent the handle lifting snow last year. Overall, a good shovel and will buy another but getting expensive to replace. Best of the available shovels in the Minneapolis area. A 30" blade would make it worth the price.

They don't make 'em like they used to
I bought this shovel because it the best one they had in stock and it appeared to be durable. After using it through 3 snow storms, one of the rivets (that holds the steel edging on) popped out. I didn't notice this immediately so ice and snow jammed in between the shovel and steel edge which eventually warped the shovel's edge. I might be able to fix it with a small bolt, matching nut and a few drops of Loctite but I don't have the tool(s) needed to flatten out the edge. This issue would not have occurred if the steel edging wrapped around the front of the shovel's edge and not just underneath. I think I may need to start making my own shovel because I have yet to find a store bought one that is durable.
