We needed a unit that would fit our 22” x 22” outdoor cushions. This fit our needs perfectly. Easy assembly. It has proved to keep the interior dry, even in a storm. The only negative is the hasp that is used to lock the unit does not line up with the hole. Thats why its only 4 stars. I just removed the hasp and won’t lock my cushions up.

Took forever to put it together while my kids were running around. Just to find out that it doesn’t line up, which makes it not seal. Very frustrating, as I’ll have to take it apart and return it.

The product is ok but the box was disgusting. I just pick it up from the store and it was covered in a thick plastic. When I got home and opened it the box was all mouldy inside. How is home depot even selling something in this condition? This is a health hazard. I am not putting this again in my car or inside my house.

We purchased this box on Saturday, May 9 as a Mother's Day gift. Round 1, the Part AA (5/8" Truss Head Screws) did not fit through metal bracket holes pre-drilled. We tried and had neighbors take a look too, they did not fit. We called the Suncast "Before you return it, contact us" number, but it was closed for the weekend. So, with little put together and Mother's Day approaching, we put everything in the box and returned to Home Depot. Round 2 on Saturday May 9, we bought the same model. We did check the screws and Home Depot supplied us with screws that would fit and work for the metal brackets. So note, parts supplied did NOT fit AGAIN. Got through about everything and the last connection, Part K 051679 Gas Schock, had a small crack at the connection point and it would not hold. Box was just about together and though with the Suncast help line closed on the weekend, I would just call Monday morning and request a new schock and ask for help. I had also been online on the Suncast website, but no immediate help there. So, Monday morning came and we called Suncast, but help line and parts department are closed for the COVAD-19 crises, which is total understandable, but why not have that on your weekend message or somewhere on your website. All numbers on the website look like they should work. Or perhaps let Home Depot know that there is an issue with product supprot at the manufacturer. I have placed a contact me with Suncast on their website, requesting a new "Gas Schock" replacement part, but looks like metal and plastic already bending on one side hinge connection.

My husband isn’t handy so if he can put this together anyone can! Its great and storage is awesome . It’s seems sturdy enough to hold cushions or other stuff . Appears to be weather resistant so we shall see when it rains today here in Maryland ! I would recommend!!

Well made, water proof and fits all our cushions from our patio furniture!!

Grabbed this at an end of season discount (the grey was discounted, the brown was full price). Fit in the space better than i expected. Took me about an hour to put it together, would have been faster with an extra set of hands. The only tool you need is a philips screwdriver. However, if you have a philips attachment for a ratchet, that will help. If someone is helping, a rubber mallet will also help with getting some of the tabs to catch. I’m hoping that it will keep my charcoal and smoking chips dry.

I bought two to hold all of my cushions (table with eight chairs, couch, two large chairs). They fit everything! So happy with my purchase. Oh and it's rained several times and has been really windy and everything has stayed dry.

Easy to assemble, great price! It is perfect for what I purchased it for.

The deck box was east to assemble , do not get in any hurry, follow direction's and the end result will be a well built and put together Deck Box , The hindges on both sides are strong and make sure you do not use a power screwdriver at any time, the screws can strip out at any given time if to much pressure is applied, I tool my time and the process went smooth, About 45 minutes. start to finish, I also caulked the interior wall and floor seams with brown caulk, That was my decision to do. althought the deck box is well finished and tight , It is not so tight it will keep out small ants, or small spiders, So I did the caulking on my decision. We like the box very much I will hold 4 regular patio chair cushions and 2 chase lounge cushions .

Easy to assemble, extremely sturdy with lots of storage space. Like that it keeps things dry. Have had for a couple of weeks and during the heavy rain it didn’t leak a drop. Great price!

Have only had this a few weeks, so the jury is still out on how well it will hold up, but so far we like it very much. Seems well made and keeps our cushions out of the sun and weather when not in use, but on conveniently on hand when needed. Will fit 6-7 of our cushions, which we still keep in plastic until we see how waterproof it really is ;-)

This storage box is absolutely the best buy! Assembly was a breeze, it looks nice on our deck and we can store 5 large dble cushions, wifi speakers , 2 blankets plus more... and no leaks ! I am purchasing another for the pool toys.

Well built. Fits together as it should per the instructions provided Assembly can be difficult for those with knee or lower back problems. Unless you have a number of clamps/sawhorses you will need a second set of hands to attach the lid to the hinges before adding the gas struts. I'm waiting for my son and family to visit to complete the assembly. Easily holds cushions for eight patio chairs.I would feel better about this if there wasn't the possibility of stripping out the screws attaching metal and bolstering plastic parts. If you have a drill/driver, set the clutch to the low end to prevent stripping out the screw holes.

Built well, large enough for 4 seat cushion and leaf blower. Easy to assemble if you read directions correctly.

Very easy to put together. Sturdy. We fit 12 seat cushions in it. Perfect! It has rained a lot and no water got in the bin.

Cover warps as temperature changes allowing rain to penetrate. Terrible . Need replacement lid.

Its solid for what it is. Took about 15 minutes to put together with the help of my wife. Its really big though... at least 4 bodies big.

Was able to put together by myself, long arms help! Simple snapping together and then putting the screws to it! So far, no rain water getting inside! Keeping outdoor cushions inside and they have remained dry! Not bad for central Florida near the bay!

I rarely write reviews, but i felt compelled seeing as this item arrived with no instruction manual, and part “i” missing. One of the primary functions of the deck box is to secure it’s contents. It cannot achieve this without the part needed to facilitate locking. Finding the online instructions were simple enough, but it sucks whenever you follow every direction only to realize a pivotal part is missing

I actually loved the deck box when I first purchased it and started using it. However, over time, the top cover started warping upward, forming a concave surface that was catching water and had to be opened constantly to remove the water. It is now warped to such a degree that water gets inside during any driving rain. The metal stiffener bar on one side doesn’t contain the warping. I would love a replacement cover.

This product took some time to assemble on my own but it works great and keeps all our patio cushions, gardening supplies, yard games, and Tonka trucks dry and ready for yard use. We have three of them.

Bought this thinking that for $140 it would have been a lot better quality. The corners do not line up evenly, and it was scuffed and scratched on every single panel. Back and side panels do not align causing large gaps which I can only imagine what will climb inside. Scared to see what happens to it in the elements.

When I purchased my new outdoor dining table and chairs, I Purchased this to store all the cushions and it is huge, and perfect and watertight to store all of the pillows! It is large enough to store just about anything so I might order another one to store the leaf blower, charcoal,etc.

Bought this recently and assembled last Wednesday. By Friday morning the ends of the top had warped up horribly. A piece of junk made in China...very disappointed. We hope it can be remedied by keeping weights on the ends, but not convinced. Find a different option!

I purchased this box to store some things from inside my apartment because there is limited closet/storage space. It was very easy to assemble and I'm almost 50 yrs old (female) with some help from my 67 yr old mother who helped to hold things in place while I put it together. I like this because it matches my Hampton Bay Patio set that I'm currently waiting on (back order ; ). And the fact that it is weather proof is really a plus. We've had some heavy rain and so far so good. Everything is completely dry. Very convenient to have as extra storage and seating. Also you can secure it with a padlock. I felt this was a better option for me rather than the other plastic bins which can't be locked. And it was more stylish.

I love this deck box! Easy to put together and it holds all my cushions! We've had a spell of rainy weather and it keeps my cushions dry, which is exactly what I wanted....I love it and would recommend it.
