Hauled this thing 250 miles to my cabin in PA. Built a extra heavy base to put the shed on. Do this, it makes for a nicer job. Everything was in the boxes and took two of us (that know some Stuff) 3 hours to put together. Came out pretty darn nice!!!!!!

My husband and I put this shed together in one day. The most time consuming part was building the foundation. Directions were easy and the pieces were properly marked. It's only been up a week but so far it's great!

This shed was very easy to assemble, I would recommend it to anyone. It is very important to construct a foundation for this shed before installing. It helps in stabilizing the shed and makes putting the roof on very easy. All in all, it took me an hour to build the foundation, and an hour to assemble the shed. It comes with two corner shelves and predrilled holes on all the walls to install additional shelves. The color is great and the shed seems very durable. No complaints.

Pucked up the shed today and built it today... Built the wood base before pick up... Pre assembly took about 1 1/2 hrs and putting it all together took another 1 1/2 hrs... I built it all by myself with the help of my wife for ten minutes. All in all , very study, attractive, and simple to construct

This is a really good quality kit. Directions are good, and the parts are well labeled and fit together with minimum aggravation. Unpacking and assembly took about 8 hours for one old man without additional assistance.

If you start off with a solid, totally even base, you're in good shape for putting together this shed so that it fits perfectly. We used a treated wood frame with additional cross supports and heavy duty treated plywood for the underfloor. Tip: Use your level continually and in every direction to ensure that the base is even. In the photo, it's an optical illusion that the shed is leaning - the grass line is what isn't even there! My husband is incredibly mechanically inclined, but it still took him about 6 hours, working alone, to put the shed up. He said, as have several others who reviewed this product, that the instructions leave a lot to be desired. The good news is that all the parts were there and that even sitting out in the elements for a week before he got to erecting it, the shed parts were unscathed by rainwater, falling tree branches (it was very windy that week), and squirrels. We bought a 5 shelf resin storage unit from Home Depot, as well, and decided not to use the 2 corner shelves that came with the shed. Using the storage unit to its best advantage, we were able to put pretty much everything we had in our old metal 10' x14' shed in the new one. The only difference is that now we don't have any "walk-around and browse" room in there. Expensive, yes, but it comes with a 10 year warranty, so.....

I love this storage shed it's nice and roomy, lots of add on too. We added the loft for Christmas storage, etc.

I ordered this shed from an email sales bill I received from Home Depot and I thought it would be a great replacement shed for an old worn out metal garden shed I have. When i started to assemble the shed It became very evident that it was missing parts right away because I put the shed floor together and it ended up being three feet short . So I laid out the other parts to see if anything else was missing and sure enough I found that the long rafter supports that this shed needs because it is long were also missing. I called Suncast and they told me they would send me the rafter supports but that I needed to contact Home Depot to get the other three feet of my shed. Home Depot sent out the extra three feet of the shed fairly quickly but Suncast had a delay in sending their portion of the parts. I called them after two weeks and they said they were originally out of the metal and would have to wait for it to come from their suppliers but they had it now and would ship it out. I waited two more weeks and called again. This time they said the parts were returned to them...They could not tell me why. So here I sit with a pile of parts to build a building but a month in now and still do not have all the parts to put them all together. I was looking at it all and need 50 more screws as well but I will buy those locally if I ever get the other parts so that I do not have to hassle with Suncast again.

Easy to follow detailed instructions. Does require a lot of screwing and a couple hours to assemble but final product is exceptionally sturdy. Looks great.

The 8x16 shed arrived in 4 boxes, delivery was no problem. Boxes were complete, no parts were missing. The overall shed design appears to have been well thought out. I assembled it almost by myself, I needed help for the last roof panel on the left hand side. That's where you'll run into trouble if your base isn't dead level. Maybe it's going to be difficult, even on a completely level base, because this is where the whole building is drawn together. I couldn't have finished the install without help. The metal reinforcing seem to be sensibly located, I don't think it'll fall down without a fight. I could have lived without the little skylights, they take a lot of time to install and create holes and the potential for leaks in the roof that didn't have to be there. I could have lived with a dark shed interior. The base isn't exactly 196 inches, like the manual says. It's a little smaller. If you're building a platform for the shed, you might want to pull the floor sections out of the boxes and assemble them for an exact size. Overall this shed appears to be a good value.

Relatively easy to assemble, I spent 2 days with occasional helper. Steel reinforced structure appears strong. Attractive and watertight. Great value!

We are happy with the Suncast shed we bought.

After installing the shed per step by step directions, still end up with a leak. Could not figure out where

They attempted to deliver thia product severly damaged. I can not believe they even left the ware house expecting us to accept it. Now we are stuck waiting for a refund over two weeks later so we can buy another one.

The package was huge and I was surprised that Home Depot would not deliver something that was over $2,000 free. Where I used to live they would have and I only live 3/4 mile away. The kit was missing two parts and I have to wait at least a week to get the missing parts so the construction is delayed. The screws for the windows on the doors should be a little longer since the seal does not allow a smaller screw to be used. The manual needs to be updated as the parts have changed through the years.

It took about 8 hours for two people to build a foundation and assemble the shed. Was fairly straight forward. Once assembled felt extremely sturdy. So far no rain has leaked inside.

Good quality and easy to assemble.

Good looking shed, but unnecessarily difficult to assemble. A lot of the steps could have been done at the factory (windows and skylights) and it would not have taken any more packaging to do so. It appears that some cost-cutting was done and the expense of the user's assembly.

Laid out all parts and found I was missing literally half of the parts. No doors, half of floor, half of roof, loads of hardware. I also had duplicates of most of the parts that I did get. Now I've got to deal with Home Depot blaming manufacturer and the manufacturer blaming Home Depot. No idea if this will get resolved. Will update on progress.

It is a beautiful and well built shed! I get tons compliments on it too!
