This is my new favorite hat for outdoor exercise. It’s cool, but gives good coverage from the sun. It’s washable and folds easily for storage. I love it so much that I bought a second one.

It looks great on and is breathable and it never gets me too hot. I washed it a couple times on hand wash in my machine in a garment bag and that didn't mess it up. I have gotten a bit too much sun on my neck when wearing so other hats are more protective for prolonged sun exposure.

Love this cap...especially the vents which are perfect for theTexas heat!

Nice and cool with a long brim for good sun protection. Love the grey color. Super well made. Would like it if there were some other colors too.

This is a lightweight and very functional cap. The wide brim offers protection from the sun making it comfortable to wear on bright sunny days. It stays put even with activity. Great purchase and value!

This hat is my favorite. The ear scoops make it fit well and keep pressure off my ears while keeping the hat from blowing off. The brim is a good length. The folding brim makes it easy to stow in my pocket. Now if they would just put a pocket to place a credit card/cash and make it a lighter color besides white I could even recommend it to everyone

I'm bald and am constantly looking for comfortable hats. I love this hat and have it in four colors. My only suggestion is having either fitted hats or two sizes S/M and M/L with the current Velcro strap.

The Eclipse cap is the best-fitting most comfortable baseball-style hat I ever had. picked one up two weeks ago for a week of canyoning in Utah. we had rain, hail, snow, sun and heat - the works. please produce this hat in a putty or light khaki color so I can buy another one.

This is without question the best cap I have ever owned! I have worn it backpacking the West Coast Trail, running, walking, hiking, and traveling through Nepal and the Galapagos. I have washed and dried it numerous times and it still looks new. It is comfortable and lightweight and I cannot say enough good things about it!

The Eclipse I bought 3 years ago had a great design, it set great on the head, and flaps stayed in place tightly. The newer Eclipse version - not sure when and how exactly it changed - does not sit right for me.... Maybe there is too much fabric or slight design shift... flaps don't stay tight as in old version, and has has wrinkles due to extra fabric. In both versions the adjustable Velcro strap is not good. It loses grip because the "hairy" side of the velcro becomes fluffy and completely loses grip with the "hooks" side after several months. It is annoying, since this is not a cheap hat. Overall not too happy.

Bought this for my guy who wanted a hat that wouldn't look worse for wear after being stuck repeatedly in his pocket, and this is definitely that hat. The folding visor is perfect without looking conspicuous. Sizing chart seemed accurate. Baltic color matches online shade. I strongly suspect he'll ask for another (and another...)(and maybe more for gifts...) Did I mention that he likes it?

I needed a hat to use when attending all day outdoor events. With very fair skin it doesn't matter how much sunscreen I use I still get red. This hat is great for keeping the sun off my face and neck. I really like how lightweight the top part of the hat is. I also like the ability to size the hat and the venting. This is a great hat if you are looking for comfort and good coverage.

I use the hat for being outside. The hat is very light, and made of durable materials. It's very comfortable. For sizing, I was in between medium and large (22.5 in). I ordered the medium, and it was too tight in the front, and am returning it. I ordered the large, and the fit is perfect. The way it folds is a great feature. I expect it to last a long time.

Bought one for myself and my 15 year old daughter. Great hat for hiking and climbing. Head does not get hot while wearing. Has adjustable closure for your ponytail. Material feels great to the touch, great practical color selection. Get many compliments on the hat, great for folding when traveling with the split brim. Gives great glare protection on my eyes as well as head protection. Can be worn by any age!! May need to get more colors in my wardrobe.

My husband has had 3 serious skin cancer surgeries on his hand, back of head, and shoulder. He is a firm believer of protection. He has the Eclipse Cap for running & tennis. He also has the Charter Hat, Sport Hat, Derma Safe Hat, & Solar Bucket Hat. Plus 3 of the Cabana Shirts. He's a very active 68 year young guy who wants 100% protection. I chose Baltic for color and am happy with it. I ordered up the Large size based on previous reviews. It's debatable whether I made the right choice or not. I think that I should have ordered the Medium. Hard to know, isn't it? But I like the hat and won't send it back.

It fits perfectly, especially over the ears. It's lightweight, cool, washable, soft and foldable into purse or pocket. This is my 4th one (I now have all the colors). I wish for more colors like orange to protect me from hunters in the woods!

This fit on this cap is too big. I used it for walking & the beach...wish the brim was a little wider too

I gave this hat to a friend who has a bald head. This cap offers good protection from the sun but still allows ventilation. Great practical hat for men who don't care to wear all around brims.

The folding brim is great! in this respect, it's better than the Sprinter Cap. But the top fabric is not stretchy and not as soft as the Sprinter Cap. Also, when you open the panels for ventilation, you lose the SPF rating, because the mesh has holes in it. If you have a mostly bare head on top like I do, this is a serious concern. The best of both worlds, I think, would be to make the Sprinter Cap with a folding brim, and offer more color choices.

I found this quite by accident while I was perusing some shops on Catalina Island. I'm always looking for sun visors that are comfortable to wear casually as well as when I'm out playing tennis or golf. The Eclipse Cap was on the rack with some other sun hats and I picked up a white one. Love the flaps! I love the comfort and lightweight feel! I really love the foldable brim. This makes it an excellent hat for travel and everyday use!! It's also really easy to clean, which means a much longer life than most of my sport caps.

I bought this cap along with a Sprinter Cap to wear while walking on the beach in breezy conditions. While the Sprinter Cap is a little too stretchy, this hat seems to work nicely, is very well made, and it will stay on my head......a really big plus! My only suggestion is that SA might find a better adjustable closure than the velcro. It doesn't work well if you have to tighten it down, because you run out of loops for the hooks. Also, if I put my ponytail through the opening, the loops also catch hair, making removal very uncomfortable. All of my other Sunday Afternoons hats have had better functioning adjustors.

I use this hat whenever I am traveling. Because it folds, I keep it in my glove box in the car. Very lightweight and comfortable.

I tried on a large at a local retailer, the volume and crown were incredibly small for a "large" siz hat.

I bought this for my Dad who is bald and needs serious sun protection, but always forgets the sunscreen before going outside. He loves it, and it looks really good. Not to mention he can put it in his back pocket without the brim taking on an odd shape.

My husband thinks this is the bomb!! He loves this hat. Every feature is perfect. These are fantastic fit-over sunglasses. They are comfortable, and fit well-enough to really prevent any bright light coming in around the frame. Excellent for gardening, fishing, walking on the beach. I love them and I'm glad Sunday Afternoons carries them now.

I hate to sound like a commercial, but I put in on and did not want to take it off. It's lightweight, looks and fits great. I'm going golfing.....
