It takes a while for it to work because of the process of it being taken back to the nest by the ants to kill the ants in the nest too. It's much better than having to constantly spray with poisons and just killing the visible ants. You just put it where you've seen ants. First you will see more ants but eventually they will disappear entirely.

I checked out the various ant traps and this was the number one customer rated on the internet. I have to agree. The toughest part about using these is not the kill the ants you have to let them eat their fill and what they live so they as can take the bait home home to the nest. You'll see in the picture I provide 2 Buffet lines

Definitely Works! Do Not Hesitate to Purchase This Item!
A couple days ago I started seeing the notorious little black house ants crawling around my floor. It is the Spring so this is the time when it is common to see these ants. I thought I could just get rid of a few with a napkin but kept seeing them every time I looked down at the floor. Our house is kept very clean so I didn’t know why they were coming into our house. I realized I needed something better so I bought this item at Home Depot and put a couple bait traps along the ant trails. I noticed they were coming from under the baseboard along the wall. Within an hour of two of putting them out a couple hundred little black ants swarmed the ant bait. Fast forward 24 hours, I noticed fewer ants and fast forward 48 hours when I woke up to check the floor and baseboard around the traps “ZERO” ants spotted. I would highly recommend these traps to get rid of little black annoying house ants. As a side note the ants can spill some of the liquid out of the trap and make a mess. Just use some floor cleaner and paper towels with some warm water and it will wipe it up.

      Best ant killer I've found
Living in a pretty forested area ants are common and plentiful in my neighborhood, I have tried raid, off brand, home solutions, ignoring spiders you name it, these wiped out the whole lot of them in 2 days with only 3 traps. Never seen something deal with ants like these, and they cheap.

          Very surprised
So, I am very surprised so far at what is happening. We have never had an ant problem in basically the 18 years living in this house. We just had a new oven installed a few months ago and now, BOOM! Ants I feel are coming from somewhere behind the oven. I am not able to pull it out myself. So I set out some typical baits to see what happened. Nothing. Broke down and called the exterminator and they have been out twice. Still no difference. So I came online and saw Terro. I had never heard of it before but saw the reviews and thought I’d try it out. I set out about 8 bait stations and watched the ants just walk about them for a few hours. I came back a couple hours after and the ants must have found it Bc they were everywhere!! Way more ants than I even thought were the issue!! Now they are chowing down on this stuff!!! Let’s hope it doesn’t the rest of the job well and soon they will all be gone!

They never saw it coming MUaHAHAHA!
I was sick and tired of these ants getting into my dogs food, I had to throw away so many bags! So I finally picked up some of these baits and it worked right away. The next morning they were all gone except a few stragglers. I definitely recommend this ant bait.

Thank you for sharing this experience. We apologize that this occurred with these bait stations. We recommend placing the bait on a small piece of tinfoil to help catch any leaks that may occur. Not to worry, even if the bait leaks out a little, the ants will still gather it and return with it to the nest.

Okay not going to lie. Thought i was buying another product huped up by fake reviewers! But no this actually worked. Set traps iimn locations i thought they were coming from around 12pm before work. Got home at 9:30 and i had a trail coming from the main spot that had already killed a lot. This works! Keep extras! Tell all of your friends!!!!

Raise the white flag in surrender! There is no defeating the black sugar ants of Yucca Valley, California. Seriously, this town is known for its relentless sugar ants. Local stores stockpile ant bait and spray in the spring and summer months. This town apparently was built upon hundreds of thousands of ant colonies. You drive just fifteen minutes to Joshua Tree and not nearly the same problem. Tried different bait traps the first year, but Terro was the best. Killed several colonies outside, but then they got smart. When I would place a new Terro out, they would realize what it was, and they would stuff the entrance with debris so that the rest of their friends could not get to it. At the end of “ant season” it seemed like we had a pretty good handle on them. Now this year, they have come back with a vengeance! Can’t see the colony entrances outside, so there must be multiple colonies under the house foundation. Hundreds are getting into our food in our cupboards, and recently they were all over my bedroom nightstand simple because I use sugar in my coffee and must have spilt a few drops on the nightstand. The worker ants foraging for food have crawled on our feet and bit us in the living room. There is nowhere safe from these beasts! So as I said in my opening statement, it’s time to raise the white flag in surrender. As soon as we have lived here at least two years (capital gains) we are outta here! This town shouldn’t be called Yucca Valley, it should be called, “Valley of the Ants.” P.s.. I gave it four stars because it’s far better than the other products out there, however, still not a match for the Yucca Valley sugar ants…

Thank you for sharing your experience! We are sorry to hear that the battle against these little invaders has been rough, but fear not! The war is not yet over! We recommend taking back the valley with multiple means of defense, such as adding a contact killer, like the TERRO® Ant Killer Spray, and a perimeter defense, such as TERRO® Ant Killer Plus. Even though you've left the area, if you ever need assistance in creating a complete home defense against ants, we've got your covered at 844-837-7644.

I use this to kill fire ants and it works. Depending on the size of the mound I use 1-2 baits and then cover with a non-porous container. I check it in a week to see how things are going. The first time I did this I did not expect it to work and was thrilled to find the ants completely gone and not moved over to another location. I have done this to the 3 mounds in my backyard (which are now ant free) and am doing it now in the memorial garden I am working on in the front. My Mother has a huge yard highly infested and I have told her to at least try this since, like me, she has a dog and it becomes problematic with the poison sprinkled on the mounds seeping into the ground and it getting on paws that are licked.

Works great. Put the trap where you see the little creeps congregating....they LOVE this stuff. So begins the death march...leave it out for about 1 month...they all run to the trap- crawl in and croak. No mess- no spray- not toxic stuff to touch-snip the top and set where you see them. They all walk into the trap and croak-then just toss the trap. Works great.

Every spring we can count on the ants like clockwork and this year was no different so once again we turned to this product (Liquid Ant Killer Bait Stations) which works like a charm each time. We usually have to do this just once in spring and never see the ants indoors again through summer. I give 5 stars for the effectiveness of the product and 1 star for the "NEW AND IMPROVED" design. NEW yes....IMPROVED absolutely not! For starters the "easy open tap" was not easy open and I was expecting to have the liquid come flying our once I final wrestled the tab off. I questioned this new design from the start because now instead of the old ramp that went to the surface for the ants to just trek up the new designs opening was smaller and off the ground, but even with my doubts I proceeded to set them up. After 24 hrs. and still nothing in the traps which was not our usual experience and having ants still migrating across the floor and onto our counters I had to get creative. So I took every trap one by one cut the trap open after making sure the liquid bait was towards the back of the trap and laid them on a small piece of paper in case any liquid should come out I didn't want it on the floors. So with this cut the new opening was now level with the surface of the floor and much larger. By the time I laid the 6th trap down I went back to the first I had set out with MY new design and not to my surprise there were ants in it....as a matter of fact 3 of the traps had several ants in them within minutes. So clearly it wasn't the bait or finicky ants, but the IMPROVED DESIGN.....ugh I just ask why companies can't leave a good thing alone. The previous design seemed to work well for most per all the excellent reviews.....why change it. I have attached pictures in case anyone else should have the same problem.

I've been using this product for years. It's the only product I've found that works. My only problem is that I have to keep refilling them to keep the ants under control. When I first place it down....hundreds of ants start trailing it back to their nest...eventually killing them. But 2 days later a new group shows up and the process starts all over again. I'm on my 4th bottle of bait....and a month of watching a trail of ants from my bar countertop to a tiny hole in the ceiling. I should be a salesman for the company. Every time I'm at Home Depot...I usually convince a half dozen customers to try it.

MAGIC. We had those little sugar ants (I think they are called). Just as the package said, they'll go nuts for it and bring it back to the nest. I love these liquid baits. I buy them all year long, but in bulk in the spring! :) My whole neighborhood has a small ant problem and so this year I'm determined to rid my whole street of them with these. They do have outdoor baits as well that are great too. I no longer buy any other brand because this is the only effective solution I've found.

Bought this for a house in FL. Little black ants come out of nowhere and attack the smallest amount of food left out. Bought these baits for cheap and the ants came out for the party and told their friends. I wish this review could include a movie because it is quite spectacular but here is a picture of them taking the food back to the next for the queen. Kill the queen, and the ants are gone!

Best Ant Killer for small household black ants! I discovered this product by accident, after many years of unsuccessfully trying to control small black ants in the house. These baits work amazing, just put a few around, and within a day or so you see a big improvement, by about a week there are no more ants at all. Completely wipes out the colony. I also like the fact that these don't have any smell or any harsh chemicals, especially since most would be used in the Kitchen or Bathrooms. Just put a bait out, then once the colony is wiped out, just toss the bait trap in the garbage. Very convenient and very effective. I really like the pre-filled baits better than the old version where you put drops on pieces of paper. The pre-filled baits are very convenient and easy to use. I highly recommend the Terro products.
