When I tell you the mouse that has been hiding in our garage for MONTHS found this trap and met its demise within 5 MINUTES of my wife putting out the trap, I'm not exaggerating. We hid the trap behind some shovels so it was in a "safe" spot for the mouse, and after a few seconds of struggling the poor little guy was gone for good. RIP buddy, we hardly knew ya. It is great product to feed a mouse, Not to get rid of them.

I bought 4 of these and a bunch of other traps, wife saw a mouse running through the kitchen. I found the nest under the zink and I put this trap among another ones, I put peanut butter in all of them and in about an hour and a half I heard a snap sound and there it was the mouse. It died after 10 seconds he got trapped. Pretty happy with the result. I will leave a couple of these for another 2 weeks just to make sure there is no more mice.

I put two of these traps out yesterday morning (about 16 hours ago). I just checked them and I’ve already gotten a mouse. Traps were very easy to set and place without them going off. I’ve always used the wooden traps in the past, but I liked the ease of use of these traps.

Very easy to set up. That was crazy fast, I got the mice in few hours after I drop it on the floor. Do not worry about the bad reviews, not durable and brake easy.. etc..This product is awesome.. Cheap, get the job done and easy to discard. Highly recommend.

Purchase this in hopes of catching the mouse overnight, the mouse avoided the trap and ate my peanut butter bait and Tom Cats attractant gel bait, but after a month and leftover gel bait, I placed a small straw size amount and made it shallow to attract the mouse further inside the trap. Overall it worked, but it took some time and patience, very happy that it doesn’t leave any mess

Bought this trap today for mice in my garage. Baited with peanut butter. Had two mice killed in the first 5 minutes of setting the traps. Will purchase again.

Very effective and humane snap traps. The first night I caught four mice, then purchased another six within the past week caught thirteen mice. I have come across several juvenile mice, about the size of a cotton ball, which will not set off the trap. The cotton balls will sit on the lever munching away at the bait until the bowl is spot clean. Mice are not only a nuisance but carry diseases and viruses, also devalue your home and other investments if not resolved.

I can’t recommend this trap enough. It just does the job effectively. I read though some other reviews and please read up prior to placement of the trap. You need to also use the right bait, placement, and learn the function of how this trap works. PLACE MULTIPLE for best results. I used peanut butter and it works. Be patient as this is just part of the solution to get rid of rodents. Also seal off where they are coming from and make wherever unlivable for the rodents. Post catch, make sure to clean area and trap if re using.

Mouse ate the peanut butter easily and went away. I set up a camera to watch him enjoy the meal. Not possible to attach a video clip here but here’s a screenshot showing mouse having his meal.

This Tomcat press and set mousetrap is the best! No more mashed fingers when setting. A dab of peanut butter is all that's needed in the bait cup. The mice actually have to lean over and touch the trigger from any angle to get to the bait. The trap has actual "teeth" in the bail for an easy kill. Highly recommend!

I purchased a two pack and both broke after a very short time owning. I would not recommend. Plastic hinge area is very thin and brittle. I would not recommend.

We have a camera monitoring these traps. Other than sitting in it to feast, we have seen the mice taking a stroll across it multiple times and it won't trip. Don't waste your money.

Well didn’t expect to catch 2 mice at once. As you can see the small trap somehow has two mice in it.

Used 2 of these with peanut butter, saw a small rat run out of my lawn then ran between garage and house tried to hit it with broom and missed, set this trap in a planter went in garage for awhile, came out about an hour later and the rat was in it's jaws dead! Unfortunately I think it's a one time use, because I couldn't reset either of them.

Mouse caught within 2 hours. I will always keep these on hand. I used a nickel sized dollop of creamy (not crunchy, recommended by a friend) peanut butter. This trap is the best. Worth every penny!

I had a house mouse (mus musculus) in the house and, once I got the right bait, this trap took care of it quite efficiently. The Tomcat gel bait did not work, but peanut butter worked like a charm. I really like that the trap was very easy to set and it made cleaning up the remains a breeze. I had no problems with mine at all.

I’ve always used sticky pads but the success rate for those are below 50%. The problem was getting worse and nothing seemed to work . I got these traps and I’d say within 5 hours of setting them up , each trap set up (3) caught a mouse . Instantly killed and no mess. It really works and is effective .

I saw a mouse and immediately bought what was available at the depot. I set them both up, per the instructions, using peanut butter. The next day the peanut butter was gone in one, then the other. No mouse caught. Then, a few days later, one of the traps triggered, but no mouse. I think it malfunctioned and broke. A few days into the process I emailed the company for help and did not recieve a response. I discarded the broken trap and left the other trap, empty of peanut butter, and a week later, somehow, a mouse ended up running over it and got killed. It bit through the torso rather than the head, so I'm guessing it just happened to run over it by chance. I ordered some other traps online, so hopefully they will be less disappointing.

I have had dozens of these at our farm. Yes they are easy to set the first time they are used, but they have lots of plastic parts and break easily. The packaging does say "disposable" and you'll be disposing these because they will break immediately. Unless you know that you only have ONE mouse to catch then I'd suggest getting something else like the older style Victor wooden base traps that are simple metal traps that last for years. I have lots of experience with Tomcats and every single one of them has broken quickly. If they are for single use then these are an expensive, wasteful way to catch mice. Get the Victor brand that does not break. You can see in my picture of one of the Tomcat traps it has the trigger pushed down with a piece of wood and it didn't snap shut. That's the way they ALL are, the picture is full of BROKEN TOMCAT traps, some that didn't even work once! If you are buying these you probably want something that does not break and can be reused. Nobody has just ONE mouse to catch!

I brought this trap. 3 days ago. Set up traps and put some butter crunch in the hole. Went to work. Came home and both traps had mice. Nice product. Ordering more. Brutal but hey worked 100

Works as expected

I set two traps and caught two mice. I was too disgusted by them so i tossed out the whole trap. I am buying a few more and may reuse them if i do have more mice.

I bought 10 of these tracks to put in our garage. After catching field mice, I noticed that the traps were springing and breaking with no sign of Mouse activity. All I know is that they spring and brake on their own, I was in the garage one night I heard one of them snap went over to get the dead mouse and no mouse in sight and a broken trap.

I have caught several mice with this mouse trap. I do think once the trap has been used once, the mechanism doesn't work anymore. So it is a once and done. Just dispose and reset a new one. This is the easiest trap to set, and easy to dispose.

Highly recommend this product. It was a mouse not a RAT, so it was difficult to find IT.finally it was Caught today

I have used this product before with great success. However when I bought new ones recently the mice have been able to walk over them or open them up to get out. I even had three of the traps break!

I've had this for a year now and absolutely love it! Refillable, you don't have to touch the mouse/rat, and a guaranteed catch every time for me.
