The first two screws I used broke. My drill ripped the heads off and they got stuck in the metal. I then had to try to unscrew them out. Not sure how these have such a high rating when the metal is so weak. Idk. They sucked for me. Try another brand.

These screws were perfect self-tapping for utility trailer to mount e-track to ribs of trailer.

I use these for securing Screen Tight system to metal or aluminum framing for porches. These are the best for outstanding security and just perfect when screwing into metal. I do Not pre-drill my holes9. When securing two pieces of metal together I pre-drill. Best product and had only 1 screw failed to drill of a box of 300.

Self- Drilling Screw

Worked great in heavy gauge steel, saved us from piloting 14,000 screws.

I used them to mount old rowing oars to my address sign at my summer home. They screwed in tight and hold fast

Needed to install E-Track on my utility trailer. Bought these Teks screws to secure the track to the frame through the deck boards. I pre-drilled holes (good practice, though technically not required) and started installing. The first one went in ok, the second one’s (self-tapping) tip ground down at the pilot hole, and the next two snapped, even with my cordless drill set to low speed/torque. I returned the rest of the box and picked up some generic self-tapping screws of the same size at my local mom

I have been using self taping screws years. Now we refer them to Tex Screws good product no complaints.

Very good quality self tapping screws had no issues using the 3/8 hex drive on the top made a very sturdy and easy to drill into my metal with no worries of it just popping out

These screws are so inconsistent it aint even funny, one will go into metal like it’s noth’n the other will round off the head or melt itself down no matter what speed / pressure you use, however I have’t found anything else that’ll work for what I’m using them for...
