Great product, used for the entryway of our house. Just make sure to work out a few boxes at a time. They are not all dimensionally the same which was fine for me as I wanted that look.

My only knock is that the white and blue boards where not uniform the blue boards were alittle thicker. Easy to cut and install we decided to use heavy duty two-sided tape and it worked like a charm

Very easy
We put in a ribbon LED then the distressed white boards. They are easy to cut and are light enough to brad into drywall. I made sure i drove a brad into at least one stud per board 2 if possible. It beat trying to remove wallpaper. I also used screws on two boards that are now my access point to where my LED is plugged in.

Timeline Wood Panels are great for a variety of applications. I am using mine to make a decorative Halloween Sign. The finish is perfect because its black and has a distressed look. The thickness is perfect because it isn't overly thick but its thick enough to add dimension to a wall for to use for a sign. The weight of the panels is lightweight and not heavy at all. This should last for years! One box contains 6 panels that are 5 1/2 inches by 47 and 1/2 inches.

    Awesome product!
We ordered the "Tomato" color for our 4 year old son's room. His favorite color is red. It turned out perfect! I would highly recommend painting the wall behind it a similar color because the boards are not perfect and there will be gaps. We realized this after putting up a couple rows and ran to the store with a scrap piece to get paint color matched. The end result looks so good. The product was really easy to work with too. We are considering purchasing the white color for an accent wall elsewhere in our house.

Looks great, easy to work, definitely not cheap. I cant imagine how you would work a full glue application. Many pieces are cupped and you would have to wrestle with it. I recommend nailing. My application was over plywood, a layer of black builders paper - you need to either paint the wall or use builders paper to mask the gaps you will see between board imperfections. I think it looks great and would recommend it if your budget supports it.

This is a very interesting product that can quickly revamp look of a room. The real wood planks are natural looking, with an uneven, shabby chic barn look. The color is deep bright red, tomato red is an accurate description and there are several other colors available as well. The panels are lightweight and easy to work with. They can be attached with nails or liquid nails glue. I have built a frame and attached the planks with small upholstery tacks. This will let me to change configuration of the panels and to move the frame along a wall or even from room to room. The wood is thin but feels substantial and does not bend or warp. 6 panels per package covers 10.88 sq. ft. Actual Product Height (in.) 47.50 Actual Product Thickness (in.) 000.343 Actual Product Width (in.) 5.50 Nominal Product Length (ft.) 4 Finished with water-based paints and coatings Easy to clean Low VOC Overall, this is an interesting product for a quick and unique update of rooms, cabinets and other areas.

I used this for our barn door project in our laundry room. We needed to replace the original door with a barn door as the new cabinets that I put in were in the way of the laundry room door when open. The look is fantastic and the only reason I did not give 5 stars was that the widths of the boards varied per package. In other words they were all the same in each individual package (6 of them per package) but the next package would be slightly different (as much as 1/4 inch) and we needed 4 packages to cover both the front and back side. So I had to rip them with my table saw to get them to be the same width. If you need more than one package and don't have a table saw then I would be careful when selecting your packages at the store to make sure the widths are close. I Would highly recommend this product for sure as it was super easy to work with and we will be doing another accent wall or 2 in the house with this product.

Really fun product, it is real wood. I ordered a pack of this to play around with to get some ideas for future products. I have to admit this stuff is pretty versatile. Its very light weight to be able to scab to a wall with some adhesive but strong enough to be screwed directly to a joist. Ship lap is very in these days and i could imagine a whole wall of this staggered. The weather finish is done very well and looks authentic.

These are made to have a unique look, to be easy to install and to be thin. These are definitely good pieces to add some color or accent an area. These thin board will not add mush thickness to your wall as some boards might. I believe they are about 7/32" thick if my memory is not failing. I took a few of these boards and created a top for a vanity/set of drawers to hold a TV. It made for a unique piece that stands out in the room. I have a plan for the few left over pieces to do some other project work with them to add some color in other areas of the house for pictures or encouragement art/messages. The unique design gives you options.

I live in a manufactured home and decided to use this product to make an accent wall in my master bedroom. I have 2 other accent walls in my home that I used old fence boards. Some use pallet wood as well. In comparison this product is a much much lighter weight. Which made the job less labor intensive. And just like the fence board the Timeline wood pieces have no pre drilled holes. The backs of the product are rough, however, making the perfect surface for the adhesive they refer to in the list of ways to install them. In the instructions that come with the product it states there is no top coat needed, but that really is going to depend on where and how you use these. For instance, if you are using these in a kitchen for an accent wall or as a cover material for a tabletop as suggested...then you will want to apply some sort of protective top coat. The instruction sheet also says they are cleanable/wipeable, that again is going to depend on how you clean and wipe them. I personally would not used anything wet to wipe them with. Even the areas covered with paint seem raw to me. And it is real wood. The installation instructions suggest nailing and/or adhesive for installation I however also suggest stapling with a heavy duty stapler or the route I have taken. Velcro. This may be the best way for someone who rents and wants their deposit back. I just bought heavy duty velcro from Home Depot and applied to the back and wall and they stuck very well and continue to stay without any movement for over a week now. These are not interlocking so patience is key when installing. Because or the square hard edge takes a little patience to get them butted up to one another without gaps. Might I suggest a coat of Black or White paint on the project first so as not to see between the gaps(if any) or if you are a renter...you could use black or white poster board or fabric. I had to cut a few pieces to install on my wall and I had to use extra caution when cutting as not to splinter the wood along the cut line. I didn't do anything special but slow down and be precise with my skillsaw. .... All in all I am quite pleased with the product. I will definitely be using the product again in future products. I only wish there more colors to choose from. I am including photos of the product and instructions. This only took me a couple of hours to do by myself.

This stuff was AWESOME! I used it to re-clad a wall and then went ahead and purchased more to build barn doors and hang them. There were no damaged units and all were very different, so I didn't have to open extra packages and use from each package. The weight of the product is also much easier if you are doing the project by yourself. I will use this again and again, trying to figure out where else I need to install this, totally worth it!

The timeline Wood 11/32in X5.5 in. X47.5 in The " Mix " Brown wood Panels (6-Pack) are a quick design solution for a wall that needs a little lift of color and design . They are easy to attach to the wall, can be used in any desired pattern and have once sided color . The only hint i would suggest is that you paint the wall behind your installation a dark color so that any gaps between the panels due to warping do not show. They were very easy to put up , and very light weight and have once nicely finished side to them.

+ "voted best product placement item of 2015" - thin, balsa-wood-like - "distressed" paint = epoxy-like mess that needs to be sanded off completely - (strongly) consider flooring instead I was reluctant to recommend flooring instead of this, as the Lifeproof I got this month along with this Timeline... stuff... is much thicker, sells close and far, under-over-laps, but the cost difference must be steep. Turns out, you get more coverage for considerably less money per case. I'm not sure how to mount them to a wall, as I assumed I'd glue them down to the floor, but I guarantee one of four nails in this Timeline... stuff... will split the wood. There was no product page available as of this writing, so cost is based on Timeline's "shiplap," but I've included their promo pic as well as my pic, both of which show the wood "grain" is an illusion in their photo from the paint's horizontal cracking and bubbling. Youtube will show you how to distress actually textured surfaces, which you can do in no-time with a paint you actually like. The "distressed" sells from very, very far away, to my lasik eyes ~20' in a horrifically migraine-inducing underlit room.

I must admit these are very visually appealing. I've seen other purpose made 'weathered' or 'distressed' wood options and most don't look this good. The finish is bright and very durable with what appears to be a completely random and natural looking pattern, it's great. The thing I've run against so far is that in the brief period I've been getting ready to start a project with these they've already warped a bit. Both twisting and turning but also the edges are not straight. (perhaps this part of the weathered aesthetic?) The thickness is only 11/32 so I suppose it's to be expected but it does mean a little more processing if you're going to mount these flat or want gapless seams if placed next to each other. The backs are also rough sawn so there is some texture to it, something to be aware of if you're looking to flush mount them to a flat surface. Again many of these things are not necessarily drawbacks but things that will impact the usage and personal preference. As previously mentioned I've not seen other purpose made panels look this good so I'd take the visual appeal over the idiosyncrasies or effort and cost of finding the real thing.

I tried this for a very small project that entailed covering an area in a closet that had exposed 2x4s. The wood itself is good quality, albeit thin. I used 1 1/4" finish nails, as recommended, and the wood did not split. However, I did lean on a small piece that had been cut to fit, and it split along the grain. Wood glue put it back together. If handled properly (not like I did), this kit of pre-finished wood is a fine option for those DIY projects!

This 6 pack of wood panels is an easy way to decorate a full wall, partial wall, decoration, island, cabinet, accent. Up to you, you can also install it horizontally, vertically, diagonally, or any way you want. and also you can nail it or use adhesive to put them into place. They look cool and they are easy to put up, they are not heavy either. I got the blue panels but they also come in different colors so you may match with your project. You can buy one pack or many to complete your project. Good quality, unique and ready to be installed

I am very inspired by wood pallets and everything that so many people make make from them and that is what may have been the inspiration behind this product or the look of shiplap that Joanna Gaines has popularized. This product does have a place in design but for $50 for 10.88 square feet, I would use it very sparingly. When you think about the real wood aspect of the product and you are thinking it is like a hardwood flooring material then you will be 100% disappointed (I had no expectations). It is approx 3/8" thick and very light weight which makes it ideal for what the manufacturer intended it for, to put on a vertical surface for accent. The product does have an odor to it when you open the package so if you are sensitive to smells then you need to be aware of this. The smell does go away within a week or so. One of the installation applications is to blind nail it to the surface you are applying it to but in my opinion the wood is too skinny and would not hold up to blind nailing. My suggestion would be to face nail it in case you (or someone else) want to take it down later. This is a good product if you have the money to spend on it but if you have more time than money then you might want to track down some pallets to disassemble and create your own unique accent wall.

        I love this stuff!!
We hired someone who ended up to be unreliable. He did, however, teach us how to do it ourselves.. and it was easy peasy! We used pro strength liquid nails and then a nail gun. Like everyone else says, it ends up with some pieces being uneven and you have to pay attention to the finish of the board in your "pattern", but I love the end result. Rustic but finished. Hoping to get some of the red board to use in my "she shed" with corrugated metal siding. It ends up being expensive if you've got a fair area to cover, but worth it in my opinion!

I received one 6-pack to review. I thought these boards would be rough and thicker. To my surprise, they are thin and very smooth. I wanted to put them up as wainscot, but my husband nabbed them and used on on a damaged wall in one of our bedrooms. They look great. The pics show that it's unfinished. We'll need to buy another set of panels. I will finish off the look with some shelves.

Great boards to create that rustic look in any interior design/decorating! Boards themselves are pine and seems to be harvested from fallen trees - hues of grey on reverse side. Blue paint is true to its color (more on "aqua" side) and creates a neat look with grayed out background on boards. Some imperfections in cuts and knots, but adds uniqueness to it. Can be installed with glue or with a help of nailing gun (1 1/2"). Can go over existing drywall or any type of surface. Light weight - very easy to handle on installations up on ceilings. Recommend leaving unwrapped packages for 72 hours before installation to condition the wood. Perfect option for rustic/industrial look. Made in USA! RECOMMEND! A+
