distressed wood walls
I installed this on 3 different walls for my wife. She looked everywhere for real wood with easy application. The finish of this wood allowed for easy installation. I used liquid nails and a brad nailer for the installation and couldnt be more pleased! Plus the wife loves it!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! It came out exactly like I had imagined! It was easy to install, colors were closely matched. I had one box out of 16 that was warped and split, which I will return. Other than that, no complaints.

We're renovating a house and needed a solution for a room with a fair amount of drywall damage after demolishing some DIY closets. Quotes from drywall repair companies were hefty and while I could have redone the dry wall myself, that's a really long intensive and not fun process. So we decided to take this approach instead. While it took us an entire day to install it (although our wall was quite large - 9 boxes of this stuff), it was very easy to install. We started in the upper right corner of the wall and attached the pieces of wood using Gorilla glue construction adhesive and two brad nails. You will need to cut pieces to fit so you'll also need a miter saw. We had two outlets on our wall, so we also needed a jigsaw AND you will need outlet extenders, since you will have to shift the outlet out a quarter inch or so since you are adding a bit of depth to the wall. We used pennies as spacers. The pieces of wood aren't perfect, so you need to be cautious that you're pieces of wood are level (or just as level as your house) as you move from left to right. Overall, I'm really happy with how it turned out. And if it looks dated in 20 years, well, then we can redo the drywall at that time. But for now, this saved me a lot of effort and looks good.

This is a really nice product and I would highly recommend it. Added it to my renovated game room (picture is in the image section). My contractor installed it, so I can't speak to how easy it was to install. I believe it was added to a sheet rocked wall above bead board so that it was seamlessly flush. In any event, I get compliments every time someone enters my game room. :)))))

The look of reclaimed and chippy, but none of the mess!
I bought it to cover an Ikea bookcase but then life happened and I didn't have time. I have literally used small amount of rolled duct tape to affix them to my wall and they are the focal point in my foyer. I absolutely love how easy they are to work with and how awesome they look with very little effort.

The panels were perfect for this project. Light grey as shown in the photo- the reverse side had weird staining, but was not the side to be used anyway. LOVE how this turned out!

Great look for a reasonable price
This looks like old distressed wood but the texture is actually smooth so no splinters and easy to clean. yes there were some boards with some cupping but we used liquid nails and a brad nailer with 18 gauge brads and it worked just fine. We received two boards in our package that were thicker than the others and could not be used but all in all we were very pleased. We used this product on the paninsula in our kitchen and love the results. I am hoping to buy these again for an accent wall in my office, hope HD gets them back in stock online soon.

                            Love this product
Extremely attractive wall covering. Fairly easy to install and looks super. If looking for a precisely cut product, then this isn't it. Each piece is unique and some of the cuts are not precise, some of the panels are slightly narrower than others and some may be slightly cupped or cut squarely. These imperfections just add to the "siding" look and effect. This effect makes for easy installs over less than perfect walls and helps the amateur installer look like a master. We installed 20 boxes this weekend.

                            Great Look, Some Color/Finish Issues
This product was great but I had to return two sets because the finish was bad. (see photos) Recommend: Buy more sets than you need and return extra as you may have paint/finish issues, use Liquid Nails and White finishing nails Pros: Easy Install, Real Wood, Great Look, Home Depot quick to fix issues with product Cons: Color Issues, Had to return 2 different replacement sets, some boards are a little bowed require extra work to adhere, takes a while to get replacement sets delivered

                              I really luv this product!
I had a wonky wall in my living room and decided to use this product. I am soooo happy I did. It looks freaking amazing! I have gotten compliments from everyone who has seen it. The product was really easy to use and I being a 59 yr old woman did it by myself. If you can use a chop saw and a sabre saw, you are in business. I had to make some adjustments with the leveling of the product, but I honestly do not mind the small gaps in some of the rows because I think it adds character to the wall. You will find that some of the panels are level while others are a little bowed but again, I like the shabby chic look of it. It was very easy to cut and went up very easy. If you want a very different and unique look, this would be the product for you!

                              Great look
We bought two different colors and mixed them in with our left over engineered flooring. They were roughly the same thickness, but I did have to rip the planks down a 1/4 inch to match the width. We really wished they had a few more colors to choose. We love the rustic look and they were super easy to cut and install. I used a little bit of liquid nails and a few finish nails. They are very lightweight. We ordered around 100 square feet. There was some minor sticking and stain issues as mentioned throughout these reviews. The minor stain issues and the lack of colors were our only complaints. Other than that we love how it turned out.

                              Rustic...very rustic!
Great for the money...we didn't have any problems with the finish on any of the pieces, and the overall finished job looks great. But if you're going for a more uniform look, these won't do it, unless you buy twice as much as you need and weed out the worst specimens. There are many pieces that were warped, cupped and if you plan to glue these, they will show that effect no matter what you do. We are going to try to pattern nail some small finishing nails to see if we can pull in a few of the worst bowed pieces. It comes out rustic, just keep that in mind! We used standard gray stain to finish the cut ends. A little on a sponge and a paper towel to wipe it off and you can't tell it from the finished product. I'd purchase these again, taking into consideration my suggestions above.

                              Love how it turned out!
We bought 5 packages to cover our fireplace wall. They were easy to install (although it took a lot of cuts with our electric miter saw.) We used paneling adhesive and our brad gun to attach them to the wall. We were thinking we might need to paint the wall black first, but the boards fit together so tightly, we didn't need to. The only bad thing was, we were told to lay the boards out on the floor in the room in which they were to be installed for at least 72 hours, hopefully longer, before installation. Since we could only work on this project on my husband's days off, it took us about 2 weeks to finish. Some of the boards had cupped and warped by then. We had to do some creative cuts at the end but we were able to use all the boards. I love the way this wall looks now, classy and very rustic.

                              Great looking product!
Really enjoyed installing this product! As others have noted some boards will be cupped, bowed and not straight. At first i found this frustrating because i couldnt keep all my joints really tight. But stepping and looking I realized that it just added to the character. I would reconmend painting the subsurface dark to hide the gaps. Product is very lightweight and easy to cut and handle.

We wanted the look of reclaimed wood for a DIY fireplace project and could not have been happier with the outcome! This product is beautiful, easy to install, and a very good price compared to other options! This color also matches the minwax grey stain almost perfectly, in case you need to match it to trim. I wish Home Depot would carry some of the other colors besides the grey and white!

                                Everyone likes the look
I bought 5 boxes of this product to complete my project. Every box was perfect with the exception of a little cupping on a few pieces. I wanted the look of a New England Style building for my accent wall. One that you might find in a fishing area. I feel that is what I got. This is not a product that you would want for a fancy, sophisticated look. It's not even, it has defects, knots, some pieces are slightly cupped. I recommend it for a project where you want a down to earth look. It is real wood, so it has features as real wood does. It is smooth, easy to handle, won't give splinters after it's installed. I put Luan plywood down over drywall. I painted the plywood black because I suspected cracks might show between some boards. Then I used a little liquid nails and a pin nailer to install the boards. When you cut the boards, I recommend cutting on the finished side because if you cut from rear of the board the front finished side will spliter on the ends. My three adult kids approve of the look, and my Grandkids said WOW ! My wife now wants me to do one wall in the "mud" room.

                                great purchase
I ordered 7 boxes, 2 black, 2 gray, 3 white & didn't have a problem with any boxes. Left them unopened for a week or so before installing them. I'm anything but handy for diy projects but I did an entire wall without a problem. Some planks were a little warped but I was still able to install them. Purchasing these planks means you would like a reclaimed plank wood look. So remember with that look things aren't suppose to look nice & neat & totally perfect, it's suppose to look like reclaimed wood. Everyone that has seen my project has said it looks great & you can't tell what planks are warped or not to perfection.

Warped wood and planks stuck together
The exact same thing that happened to the previous customer also happened to me. I ordered 18 boxes and between all of the boxes what equated to 7 total boxes were unusable due to the sticking issue. Prior to delivery, I had scheduled a scheduled to install the panels after the recommended acclimatizing time (3 days) from the delivery date. As almost half of the product was unusable I was in a tough position. I called (no answer) and emailed Timeline and did not hear anything back from them for two days. They couldn't have been less interested in helping me and said it had never happened before. Their 'solution' was to tell me to return the stock to Home Depot and order more. Bearing it mind the delivery time is approximately a week from ordering I was not able to complete my project on time. I placed a new order to replace the unusable panels, ordering twice as much as I needed incase the sticking issue happened again, it did and yet again almost half of the order was stuck together. When my contractor did install the panels he warned me he might not be able to use all of the panels as many were warped and some were different widths. He did his best to match the widths but had to leave small gaps between some in order to keep them as straight as possible. The panels do look nice on the wall but I would caution others to order more than they need, incase the sticking issue continues. Also note that the widths of the panels do vary so you may not be able to achieve a perfectly lined up effect. What should have been a very straight forward and easy project turned into a huge and drawn out nightmare.

                                  Poor quality
Purchased 16 boxes. One was a spare as other reviews recommended due to boards being split. The online purchase process went fine. Delivery was seamless. Opened the first box and discovered that the boards had stuck together. The paint was not completely cured gluing the boards together. Additionally one of the boards was split about one third of the way up. Opened the second box. The boards were stuck together in the same manner. I attached two photos of the boards. Each photo is from a different box.
