It took our family about three hours to build the two dock sections - because we used screws instead of nails. Then another 3 hours to put it in the water. The first section is easy because it is supported on the shore. You can do this with two people and two sets of waders. Looks great and was not difficult Have patience when Installing in the water. Make sure it is level and the supporting legs are straight Consider the hand winch accessory to ease leveling.

Overall, the product is good and easy to assemble. The main problem is with the screws and bolts. Instead of wood screws, it comes with three boxes of nails. (One box was actually branded as screws but they were actually nails). Also, they don’t even provide the bolts, nuts or washers for the brackets. And these size bolts were difficult to find. Side note - auger footings aren’t included in the kit either. So if you buy this, be ready to head to the hardware store from some extra stuff.

Complete package. Beautiful and easy to install. My wife loves it too.

We surprise our kids with this. And they loved it. Definitely recommending it.

Did not take long to assemble. Looks great at our lake house and looking to install several more.

I love my new dock and enjoyed putting it together.

I am mixed at giving it 3 stars. Cause it’s a great product. But they have some major misses that would have easily rectified it. 1) nothing is predrilled. And you have to line up the boards for a long time to make sure the spacing it even. It’s just not a pleasant experience. They would have easily fixed that. That in my mind impacts 1 star. 2) they provide nails vs screws. That’s very poor. As no one should be using nails assembling this. As they will be coming out through the seasons. And even their own video shows then using screws NOT nails! So go figure. But the product is great and it looks great. Takes time to assemble but not crazy difficult

All the pieces not even installed, they sent only wood planks with nails instead of screws. It took us a day to put them together. Not satisfied!!:(

Great dock, you do have to put it together but worth the effort. I did have a person install it for me and the kids have been loving it!

Was missing caps and 2 circle pads , and never got an email back about them

In typical home depot fashion the boards were as crooked as a dogs hind leg. Also whoever cut the boards for this package apparently never used a tape measure or any measuring tool in their life. Too long, too short. But on the plus side the directions were actually easy to understand.

Good quality wood, poles and brackets. Although, we switched out the nails with decking screws.

Just what I need it. Excellent quality.

This is NOT a "complete" dock package as the item description states. It didn't come with any bolts to attach the brackets and it came with galvanized nails to put everything else together. Now I don't know anybody that puts a dock together using nails anymore and especially not the deck boards because if a board goes bad it's much harder to replace it. I gave it 2 stars instead of one because the wood was "ok." There were some warped 2" x 6's but for the most part they were workable. The brackets themselves are good quality and were powder-coated. Also...I expected the dock sections to come pre-assembled. Oh no...you have to put every-single-board together one screw (or nail) at a time.

Just needed a simple dock for the pond and Kayak. I bought the Tommy dock kayak rack as well. Good quality, easy to build, nice to see a good value once in a while!

The price for the product is so worth it. I would tell anyone looking for a dock to buy Tommy Docks.
