The room I needed to cool is approximately 18 ft x 10 ft and it cools most of it really well. Life saver! Simple. Four options. The only thing that would have made it better would be a remote.

I bought this to cool my parents bedroom about a year ago. At first, it was cooling great but now (only a year later) this piece of junk is no longer working. I put the temperature at 62 and the fan on high and it’s not working at all. Don’t bother with this unit. I’ve had my LG window a/c for 8 years and it’s still as good as it was on day 1.

Light and compact. No effort at all when installing it.

I am a Disabled Senior grandma on a fix low income. Purchased this unit 2 yrs ago. And it does not cool my small 1 bedroom house down at all. And my home is small! About 4-500 sq feet. I’m guessing.You have to be sitting right in front of it to cool off. It was a waste of money that I did not have to waste on an AC unit that can’t even cool my whole house down especially when we here in California get our Heat waves🥵I thought I was going to pass out last summer and die! I will this summer.⚰️

I bought this two years ago, and it freezes if the temperature drops below 70 outside. It has done that since I purchased it. If you are buying one to use on occasion, then this would work great. However, if you don’t have central air and have to run it for most of the summer, then I don’t recommend you buy this because it will freeze during the night and you won’t have able to use during the day.

I had my other for 10 years. It wasn't getting cool So I purchased this one. It's really loud and it really Isn't getting cold to be set on the lowest numbers.

This was easy to install and understand. It cooled down the room tremendously. My only complaint is that it’s very loud. Other than that, I highly recommend.

Love this little ac! It was pretty light compared to others I have picked up, and it was very simple to install. It has cooled my room down from 78 to 69 in only a matter of 15 minutes!

I was very excited to get this product. But when I went to take the AC unit from the box I sliced my finger badly on the back of the unit; I had no idea it was sharp! I’m in extreme pain and would not recommend this. I am waiting (due to the pandemic) then I will return this.

We just installed this unit. Make sure to plug it in before the install. We had just returned an LG window unit the same size because the fan was making noise. This one is nice and quiet and seems too cool well. We'll see what happens when the hot summer hits us here in Florida. Hoping for the best!

Small and quiet. This ac, even on high is quiet. Purchased for an added room 9 x 15.

This was a great unit to begin with until today all the lights stay lit and no buttons work I have 2 other Toshibas on my porch as well that kicked the bucket at a yr with control board issues.. I live in FL it's hot and I can't replace acs every year stay away from Toshiba!

Its the worst ac ever, the high cool mode isn’t cold enough, makes a lot of noise and stopped working 2 months after I bought, cheap quality

I just installed this in my room last night. First night that I slept like a baby in a week since our central air broke ! I set it on the high AC for about an hour and my room was cold 🥶 Then I put it on low fan (lowest setting) for when I went to sleep, and my room was still cool and very comfortable when I woke up. I'm not sure about longevity yet, but so far it's been a godsend. Works really good!!!!

I've only had this a couple of weeks, so keep that in mind. I just love this little AC unit. It's small (cute), has simple (priority), heavy duty controls, and works well. The stiffness of the knobs probably means that it's built with a heavy duty switch. I use this unit, in a capacity where it isn't being run flat out. I moderate a 15 x 20 room with it, in combination with a portable fan. It's 10 to 12 degrees cooler than outside air. That's good enough for me. I'd buy it again, very good deal

The air blow out is not cool at all. compressor keeps running and stopping. Has a noise when setting fan to low. Very loud. just installed it today.

Bought it last spring because my central air quit keeping up and the housing office refuses to properly fix it. Cools my medium size bedroom in less than an hour. If I leave it on or fall asleep it will cool the room down to the high 50’s no joke. This unit has freeze protection as well. Thankfully. My only regret is I didn’t spend the extra $30-50 for a unit with a remote but that’s part of the reason this unit is only $170. Beast of a budget unit that’s been trucking on for last 2 years.

My Office is unbelievably hot when i have to close the door with my two small kids and the sitter in the house. I only wish they would account for the fact most houses these days do NOT have vertical sliding windows ... so those of us who have this issue have to simply exercise our inner craftmanship and make a piece to fill the gap ourselves... not a big deal but it is certainly a bit of work if you don't want it to look horrible...Quiet enough... No Drain hole drilled one .... Cool room!

Extremely quiet unit! I am presently surprised.

Set temperature to the lowest temperature possible and it broke the interface. The buttons didn’t work and all the lights on the ac stayed on. It was stuck.

It’s a great air conditioner with plenty of features. The app for it is buggy but it connects to my Alexa flawlessly so I can voice control it. Happy to have bought it especially with how hot the summers have been.

They where really easy to install. I just had to modify our windows so to the fact that we live in a mobile home that the wrong type of window opening so i just took out the window and put up a piece of wood to and 2x4 to make up for the window not being there any more and they work great.

So far it has been excellent. Fairly quiet and keeps our bedroom cool.

It's small. It doesn't stick out much on the inside, so that's nice. Puts out cold air to cool my 112 sq. ft. tiny house pretty well. Simple, sleek design. The last window AC I had (LG 5,000 BTU) had a drain plug outside, but I could not find a drain plug on this Toshiba. Hopefully the apparent lack of a drain plug doesn't cause problems. I've only had it for about a week, so I'm not sure on longevity, but hopefully it keeps working.

I'm impressed with the design and build quality. Everything is top-notch, including the manual, especially given the low price. We installed this in a 12 x 15 bedroom (which it cools perfectly), but it together with a 'portable' 7000 DOE-BTU unit was purchased to get us through a rough patch when our whole-house AC blower motor went out. Obviously it can't replace the 48,000 BTU HVAC system, but it made our life much better and we're still using it.

Bought this online and shipped to my house within a few hours! Was light and easy to install!

I absolutely love this AC. It has saved our lives in the sense that our main AC unit is broken and it can't be repaired but I new AC unit needs to be installed. That cost a lot of money we currently don't have, so we purchased this unit and it cools our room enough that we need to use blankets at night. We also have a ceiling fan that we like to use but regardless, as soon as I turn it on, it blows cold air and in just a few minutes, the room is cold. I couldn't be happier. It was also easy to install and my husband didn't even use screws to avoid perforating our window frames, but instead, he used a tape around it and a piece of wood to support in the back of the unit on the outside to support it. Great Unit Toshiba for this price.
