Unit functions amazingly! We had a difficult time setting the unit up in our small upstairs window, had to saw down the parts and all of that extra stuff, but ultimately we got the unit in and working. We use it in the upstairs area of our bungalow and it's extremely effective! cools down the room in just a few minutes! couldn't be happier!

Easy to set up but not quiet
This unit, on the low setting is 63 decibles, not 49. It cools well, but I don’t imagine it cools 300 square feet well. Certainly easy to install but would agree with the customers that say it’s not portable - you have to have it venting out a window. And to use the dehumidifying function you have to attach a hose or drain out the bottom (which appears pretty tricky as the plug is so near the floor). It’s quite large too. You’re likely better off with a window unit.

it says PORTABLE, yet must be connected to a window exhaust hose. I don't consider that portable anymore than a standard Window air conditioner. nothing in the pics on the item shows the exhaust hose.
