The receiver lock works very well and it has the option of being used with either a 1/2" or 5/8" connection. My bike rack is 1/2" and my trailer hitch is 5/8". Problem solved with one lock.

This does not work for 2.5" receivers. It isn't long enough to have the endpiece reattach to lock.

Though the product may have held up it didn't fit...
Though the product may have held up it didn't fit my receiver hitch. The pin was to short to lock. It needed to be about a quarter to half inch longer. I guess I wasted my money on this.

I am pleased with the receiver lock but when I first tried to use it it was too thick and would not fit - I did not realize until I took it back that I learned there was a sleeve that came off making it less thick.

Stainless steel and has 2 keys. I've used one of these for over 17 years with my truck and it's held up nicely. No rust on it and I live on the East coast.
