Disappointed!
We have used this product 6 other projects and loved it. We had this one shipped to our home. The corners of most of the pieces were chipped and some of the glue edges broke while we were installing it. That has never happened before. We love the color of this one and we will use it again but we wonder if this was a bad batch somehow?

Love my new floor
This product was easy to install and takes very little time to install. My husband and a friend did this in about 5 hours for installation in a bedroom. We had already done this same flooring in the rest of the house except for the kitchen. It is beautiful and I love the fact that you can put it in the bathroom because of its warranty against water. No more dusty carpet and cleaning is minimal and it doesn't show dirt much. I do vacuum it once a week and mop it once every two weeks unless there is more than normal circumstances. No more allergies from the carpet that hold all the dust and allergens. I am so pleased with this flooring.

Definitely a DIY project
I ordered 9 cases of the Rosewood Ebony and used 7 1/2. This is definitely a DIY project. Previously, I installed this product in our bathroom and laundry room. It was a relatively easy process. This time I used it in the kitchen. It was a little more complicated, but it eventually worked out. Better planning on my part would have helped. I would definitely "practice" in a smaller bathroom or laundry room before doing any larger areas. The product is sensitive to temperature. Once you get the product home, you're supposed to stack it a certain way and then let it acclimate for a day or two. This is especially important during colder weather because if the product is cold, the vinyl material becomes rigid and fragile, and hard to work with. So if you're doing this during cold weather, have it delivered to the store and pick it up there so it's not sitting in the back of an unheated UPS truck. Tools required. When I did the bathroom and laundry room, I got by with a utility knife and a straightedge. This time I got smart and used a chop saw (and also made a few cuts on the table saw.) I highly recommend a chop saw and/or table saw for several reasons: 1. Cutting tile after tile with a utility knife is tedious and physically tiring. (It takes about 5-7 passes with a utility knife at which point you can "snap" the cut.) 2. The faux texture can cause the utility knife blade to veer off, leaving you with an ugly cut. (Although I did just realize if you cut on the black back side, this might not be an issue.) 3. Using a chop saw is much easier, although you'll be constantly walking back and forth to the chop saw. 4. Using a chop saw, you get a much cleaner cut. Cleaner cuts make for easier aligning of planks, and a better looking finished product. Optional but helpful: Knee pads - your knees will thank you. Ruler/ tape measure - for measuring obviously. Mallet - to help mate the adhesive strips. Another person - to hand you the planks. The Process Remove your base trim for best results. Cut your first tile in half and use the right half as the starting plank. (Avoid starting a new row with a full plank.) Then fill out the row with full planks. When you reach the wall and make your cut, take the right piece and start the next row. Repeat. When you are joining the planks, you really want to have it lined up so that you get it right the first time. The planks can be peeled apart and repositioned, but this results in big patches of the adhesive being ripped off. (Heating the adhesive with a hair dryer might make separating two planks a little easier, but I would avoid trying to separate two planks unless absolutely necessary.) You may run into a weird situation where you have several butt pieces. You can always use some duct tape on the underside for that joint. You will have to do some problem solving, it's not as easy as you would think. Overall Assessment B+ It has held up well in our bathroom, and hopefully it will hold up just as well in the laundry room and the kitchen. It looks pretty nice and feels very firm underfoot. It has a slight texture that is supposed to mimic the wood grain, but it doesn't match the image. There are several styles to choose from, it's affordable, and it's relatively easy to install.

Great Product!
We chose this flooring for our master bathroom. The vinyl flooring was easy to cut and install. It is EXTREMELY sticky once the two pieces have joined. It is almost impossible to pull apart once together. If you drag anything heavy on the vinyl, it will scratch, so put towels, sliders, etc. under cabinet(s) and/or chair(s) if you need to move when you are putting down the flooring. I placed felt tips under the vanity chair legs and the chair moves very easily now with no scratching. This product is so great, I am going to do our kitchen in it also.

I can't find anything bad!!!
This floor is beautiful! I'm glad I purchased this to lay in both my bathrooms and my kitchen. So far I have finished the two bathrooms for both room it took about an hour. The reason it took that long is the cuts I had to make around the doors and cabinets. I can't wait to do my kitchen! My favorite part is that it's waterproof!!! My son just decided to take a shower and water was everywhere!! I would buy this product again in a heart beat!

Great product for the price & self installation
I've layed square vinyl flooring before when I was 20, so figured this would be a piece of cake. And it was and I'm 54! Order enough to make a mistake or two. Double check your measurements is one important tip I would suggest and look at all your pieces before laying them down. I did find at least 6 planks that had slight defects. One had a bad one. Others I could live with, but I'm picky, so these went in the closet, since they wouldn't be noticed there. Otherwise great and easy to install. Oh...difficult to cut length wise...otherwise easy to cut. Looks and feels great, now to do new baseboards so I can move the toilet back. No more carpet, yeah!

This is the nicest looking floor
This is the second bedroom I have done with the Allure and the results are awesome. At first glance everyone thinks it real wood flooring. The installation is pretty easy and once you get going it goes down pretty quickly. We did a 220 sq ft room in 4 hours.

This product is easy to install and looks great!
Installation was super easy and the product looks great. We bought one box to see what it looked like before committing to a big purchase. We loved it and will be using throughout our whole home. We love the quality look at a affordable price. The vinyl gives a high end feel but it is also very durable, especially to water.

Looks good, easy to install.
The finished floor looks good, but now when I walk on it I can hear the gripstrips (I suppose) make a kind of crackling noise underneath. I hope that it will eventually settle and stop making the noise. The floor was laid in what will be the baby's room. There are places on the planks that look like the finish has a defect. It isn't enough to make me pull it up or return in, but had I laid it in a larger room, or one with more traffic, I may feel differently about the marks. I was lucky - my floor length took exactly 4.5 panels, so the 18" cut to finish one row started the next row so there was absolutely no waste. Not everyone will get that lucky! Having the product shipped to the house worked great and saved me a trip out of town to the nearest Home Depot, and it arrived safely and in the time stated. It says the flooring is completely water-resistant but I don't really want to test that claim. I've read reviews stating condesation can build up under the flooring but I laid it over concrete so I hope that won't be a problem with mine. If you need something you can put down yourself, with a good warranty, that doesn't look high end or like real wood, I highly recommend this. We also put this brand of flooring in a travel trailer and it worked well. The only issue we've had there is on a couple of the pieces that we had real tight fits on (up against the cabinets) now don't want to lay down completely flat. Trim close, but not so close that you have to force it in.

Very easy to install
I purchased this flooring for my basement to replace the carpet that I had installed 10 years ago. I watched a YouTube video first, which helped make the installation go much easier. I made most of my cuts with a utility knife and some with tin snips. It took me 2 days to install 300 square feet (12 cases), but I took a lot of breaks to tend to other things. I calculated the 10% extra like they suggested, but still ended up with an extra box that is not returnable due to being a special order. I'm really happy with the overall appearance and feel of the final product. I just hope that it will withstand moisture that I occasionally get after a heavy rain. Don't forget to mail in the warranty registration, though. It's in the booklet that's inside every box.

easy to install and looks great!
I installed the Allure ebony rosewood plank in my living room. It was very easy, I used a box cutter for the end pieces and it went down quick. I have already recieved many compliments on the look of the floor. My bulldog hasn't been able to scratch it and any messes wipe up no problem. My favorite things about the floor is the durability and overall look. I'd recommend this product to everyone for any room in their home.

It's gorgeous!
My father & hubby installed a 13' x 19' room in under 3 hours! Easy to install, great quality product, inexpensive, looks awesome, arrived at my house less than 10 days after ordering. I have no complaints other than it seems to scuff fairly easily, just from moving around on it. But I don't think it will show all that much. I'm just still in that "looking at it obsessively" phase :-)

Very easy to work with once you get the hang of it.
This is the easier flooring product I ever worked with. Clean, no messing setup or clean up, simple to cut, easy to apply, and looks great. The only difficulty is in the startup, determining how the place the planks to get the best usage (lucky for me, what I cut off on one side are used for the other side). After that, it's a breeze. The only caution is keep the length-wide runs straight; a little deviation is ok, but keep it straight reduces gaps. The only con is if you mess up and have to peel to restart...the adhesive is weaken.

I love this floor! Great color, easy to install and keep clean.
I can mop whenever with no worries of water damage. I have 2 dogs and it's great! No more dog fur stuck in carpet. It was very easy to install. I'm 5 months pregnant and I finished installation while my husband was at work. A beautiful accent to our home!

    Great Product, easy install
Product was very easy to install. It took my wife & I a day in a half to install over 750 sq ft. in our basement. The majority of our time was spent ensuring the first row was square. Very happy with outcome. recommend cleaning floor very good, we sweep and mopped the basement floor to help ensure it was clean.

    Awesome flooring
It's problem solver for my living rm ancient uneven and buckled hard floor. On 20 feet span difference in elevation was over 1 inch, the floor was bumpy with lot of lousy repairs hidden under the wall to wall carpet. We rented sander and sanded down the worst bumps which were exceeding 1/8 inch. Then we lifted the lowest parts with leveling compound. On top we screwed 1/8" hardwood flooring underlayment boards and installed new flooring over. The new floor looks awesome! Because it was installed upon extremly hot outdoor conditions with all windows open I don't expect flooring to buckle.

    Beautiful and durable flooring
This product was so easy to install. The first room took 4 hours because I was getting used to the product but the next two rooms that were the same size took 4 hours for both rooms. The only tedious part was making cuts for the closet flooring but it was still easy. Measure, score, snap. Suggestion: when cutting thin or small areas off of the planks, use plyers to bend the piece back and forth after scoring. It breaks off easily after that.
