Love the glazed look, it really enhanced my orchids

This pot provides the same benefits as the Trendspot 5 in. Reactive Blue Ceramic Orchid Planter--good airflow for the roots, stable, and provides adequate drainage. But the green color is pretty flat, almost gray-ish, and doesn't have the same luster as the blue.

The Trendspot 5 in. ceramic orchid planter is a great design for orchids! Drainage holes on the bottom keep it from being to wet. The evenly spaced openings on the side wall are perfect for roots to come through. More importantly these openings allow good air flow. Orchids are mostly found high up in trees, attached to the trunks and open to air, and this planter does a fantastic job of mimicking that. The planter itself is great quality and pleasant to look at and can be found in various colors. I would recommend this planter to anyone for their orchids.

I received it in the mail and it was well packaged. When I first held it,I felt it was very heavy for being alittle small. But I guess if its windy outside, it would not fall over. It's a faded green, ceramic and made in China. A dish is permanently attached at the bottom. It fit my orchid perfectly. I was not able to put a lot of dirt because of all the holes. I feel it needs less holes.

Cute Little Planter for A Small Plant. As a major plant lover, I have oodles of pots and planters, both in my house and on my patio. I found myself needing a small planter for my newest addition to the garden (see photo below). This green ceramic planter fits my little succulent plant perfectly and provides plenty of drainage and aeration so I don't have to worry about the plant getting over-watered. While the planter is designed for orchids, I'm giving it a try with this succulent. I think it will work well.

The Trendspot 5 in. Reactive Green Ceramic Orchid Planter is a great little planter to use in a variety of situations. Though it is supposed to be an Orchid Planter, we opted to use it to hold our herbs on the kitchen bar. This allows us to quickly grab the herb we desire and add it to our dishes. The pot itself is not a solid green, rather it varies between a pale green to a medium olive green. The water dish is attached to the pot and seems quite sturdy. The only negative that one might see to this pot is the holes in the side allow potting soil to escape. We elected to keep the herb container and set the herbs inside the planter. My wife loves it and we expect to get many years worth of use out of it.

Trendspot 5 in. Reactive Green Ceramic Orchid Planter is a really nice little planter. It is a little bigger than I thought it would be and has a great finish on it. A great planter for inside or out with an attached saucer so water won't drip on furniture. The holes all around the pot seems like it will help the soil keep aerated, but might dry out the soil quicker, so I'm going to use it for succulents.

I have no cons about this pot here are the pros. Designed for for kids to provide airflow to the roots. Handcrafted ceramic with a soft green reactive glaze. Attached saucer helps to catch water runoff. Perfect planter to give as a gift. For indoor use I added surface protection underneath the planter. Trusted brand since 1972. I have many other colors from trend spot. Each planter is crafted by hand therefore no two are exactly alike.

This is a beautiful, small pot. It is a soft, muted green that looks very rustic. It feels pretty solid and yet it is still pretty light. There are lots of holes so this pot is specifically for an orchid plant or you can do like I did and just use a fake plant. This is the perfect size for your average desktop/shelf. Again, though, don't use this for any other regular live plant, the hole won't allow the plant to retain any water.

So, I was a bit disappointed in the Trendspot green Ceramic planter. It was a lot smaller than I expected it to be. However the planter in itself is nice, very durable and I like the distressed look. It was well packaged, I was concerned that it would be broken up by the time it reached me. So that was good. Overall I am satisfied with the planter and would recommend it .

This pot does not look as beautiful as in the photo. The color is more grayish and metallic. The glaze is not as shiny and the pot is just simply dull looking. It is also smaller than I expected it to be, despite checking the measurements. So it is not good value for the money, but I guess it will serve its purpose. I find that orchids do better in pots with holes.

Orchid pots were exceptionally well packed and in perfect condition.

It’s a planter with holes in it. There’s EVERYTHING about that that makes sense if you’re an orchid grower. The water drains out through the holes and the roots get plenty of air. The roots will sometimes come out of the holes a bit, too. My orchids love it!
