Right out of the box I had an issue. The wing nut & bolt set that holds the foldable handle together were very challenging to install! The nice paint job on the handle, seems to fill-in the bolt holes to the point that they would not push through. I had to use a wrench to thread through the paint to get the bolts started. NOT an easy to push mower at all! I just mowed with rider yesterday, I cut at 3" & push mow to trim. The quality: "Plastic" material that makes-up the rear of the deck (concern there) on the TB100 rakes through the grass & does not roll across it smoothly. Pros: good cut, good mulching & starting, free ship with Home Depot; Cons: difficult to assemble handle & hard to push through an already mowed lawn in "flat land" Florida!

I should have listened to the 1 star reviews that only got three mows out of it before it died. Luckily for me I'm within 30 days and will return it tomorrow. I got about 2 hours tops of run time out of it. The engine sounds starved for gas and bogs down and dies. The grass is about 4" tall and I mow weekly at 3" height. I also broke the first plastic Chinesium part today, and many more would have followed I'm sure.

Spilled oil all over inside and outside of box. Loose parts inside box. Looked like I got someone else’s return.

Overall quality seems good so far. But at $300 its way overpriced. I know, everything is more expensive now... but it's not a $300 value. Pros: - light and easy to maneuver - pull-start works on first pull, even when I'm tired - deck height is easy (enough) to adjust - already comes with engine oil, no need to buy the extra oil Home Depot recommends Cons: - No pad on the safety lever. Why not?? I noticed fatigue in my hands after 20 mins. - PRICE!!

Admittedly I got this mower because of the excellent reviews. The quality though is lacking. It is fairly easy to put together. When adding the oil… not so easy. It’s in an awkward place. That’s not entirely bad however I needed pliers just to remove the oils cap. I’m not entirely sure the mulching… maybe I’m missing the kit it was supposed to come with but.. doesn’t mulch well. The positive… it’s fairly easy to start. Only took 3 pulls. The side attachment seems kinda cheap, but positive… it sure does spur that grass out lol! All in all kinda dissapointed. :(

I got maybe 6-8 uses out of mine and I am already having issues with this push mower. I am unable to get it to start now, and I'm past my return date. I would recommend going with a different mower.

I have mowed with my Troy- Bilt push mower, it starts easily and is easy to push. Briggs has a weird idea of where to put the dipstick, tucked in a hole that makes it difficult to check oil.

This is a nice mower for the price. Starts easy, cuts well and should last me for years.

Great little mower. Was so much easier to push that the old, heavy one it replaced!

Pulled it out of the box ,did the quick set up,added gas ,primed it and it started on the first pull ....cut my thick deep grass like a champ.. but that spread for down days

I am over 50 and I have found this lawn mower to be easy to use and lighter in weight making mowing my front and back yards manageable.

I bought this to replace a mower that I've had since 2004. This Troy-Bilt is light and agile. I like it a lot. The oil filler is in an awkward place but other than that it's a great mower. Assembly from the box is quick and easy. All the parts were there and no damage at all.
