Product worked out well but would have been easier to install if I had better instructions. Should have used the adapter to start with the end cap on the high side. If so each additional section ( 11 sections for my project) would have slipped in male to female as I moved down the trench. As it turned out I had to lift the section just installed to insert it’s male end into the female end of the next section.

Perfect for what I needed. An easy to install drain along the side of my house next to the Pool Filter. This will help carry away the water when cleaning the filter elements. Everything fit well together, it is well made, and should last along time.

I used the Grates on my deck where my eaves drip to allow the water to pass through instead of splashing up on the side of the house. Perfect fit, replaced the first row of deck boards. Wish I would have had these when I put the deck in. Should eliminate replacing clapboards every few years.

Good for walkways but not stout enough for automobile traffic. It only has provisions for being cut at eight inch intervals. Turning a corner when not being able to cut on the eight inch provision molded into the drain trench to be connected with the provided snap half ring means that the two pieces float rather than connect together. Good for straight line drain usage.

First let me say I do lots of research, and read tons of reviews when determining a cost effective solution for a project. However I ONLY write reviews on EXCEPTIONAL products..... Value for price of this product was excellent. I could not find a cheaper solution anywhere other than Home Depot. I was concerned with quality since the cost was low, but these drains were strong, robust, and fit together tight and easy. No additional hardware was required. I was adding the drain for surface water collection under my deck, where years of settling had pitched the ground towards the house. These worked perfect, and allowed me to lay sheet plastic into them and snap the covers on to maximize water collection. Excellent low cost solution for my problem! I have already recommended these to others in my mountainous area with the same problem.

Quick shipping. Straight-forward installation. 'Extras' / 'Accessories' expensive (and some, such as the foam tape for expansion , along the sides, 'required' for installation, should be included... Time will tell if it lasts.

I needed a shallow channel drain and this fit my needs. The price is very good and it was easy to install. I used it in a patio to divert the water runoff from the basement.

This shallow trench drain worked well for an entrance walkway that had a problem with "ponding" water. I connected it to a 3" 90° PVC elbow straight into a 4" corrugated drain pipe. It's able to keep up with the heaviest downpours in Florida. ;) No more trudging through ankle deep water, or the silt that remained after the fact!

As a supplement to a French Drain project, I installed this trench drain outside in front of a lower level, low sitting door. I cut a 2-inch diameter hole in the bottom of the drain at one end and inserted a 4 inch long piece of 2 inch PVC and sealed it with adhesive caulk. Attached a 90 degree elbow to the PVC and connected a foot long piece of 2-inch PVC to the elbow and ran it into a foot long piece of 3-inch corrugated pipe (using a 2 inch to 3 inch rubber connector). The 3-inch corrugated pipe joins w/ my 3-inch corrugated pipe from my downspout into a Y-connector and it all flows 30 feet out to the street. Before permanently installing the trench drain, I tested it w/ a bucket of water dumped into the top of the drain. Both end caps on the trench drain and my 2-inch cut hole on the bottom of the drain leaked. I sealed everything up w/ more caulk and after that cured I painted on BlackJack 57 roofing/foundation rubberized sealant; and no more leakage.

The drain is working well. The fitment between the drain channels and the catch basin could be better, but happy with results.
