This product is awesome. Had to deduct one star because the actual product could use a couple more coats of paint. We have had it for about a month and the paint has rubbed off where it moves in the cradle. Other than that, it is awesome and we love that you can cut it to size and it isn't retractable.

Easy to install and works great.

Actually using it as a retractable closet pole. I trimmed it to fit in a narrow space, so it's about 20 inches long. Would be perfect if the mounting bracket were bronze too, instead of plain steel

Excellent product for preventing forcible entry through sliding glass doors. I have been using them for over thirty years dating back to when they were known as Charley Bars prior to being bought out by Ultra Hardware. Have never seen a better item to prevent jimmying of sliders, and far superior to placing bars, etc. in the lower tracks.

Easy to install and I feel safer with it.

Despite the fiance thinking I ordered the wrong size, this was a very easy to set up security bar which also looks sleek and functions as expected.

The product was easy to install. Be aware though that you will need a metal blade either on a hacksaw or jig saw, to cut the arm shorter. I'm surprised that the hinger mounting bracket was not painted white like the bar, but that's ok.

Easy to install, works great and almost unbreakable for the average person. Good price too.

I like that the product stays clipped up when not in use. When in position, I tried to muscle my way through the door and couldn't do. Had to stop just short of breaking the door.
