This stuff is perfect for using as backing for automotive insulation and sound deadener.....just make sure you have sharp scissors to cut it!!!

Bought this to replace sound insulation/barrier for new dish washer. Great product: thin,(which was required for the space), but did the job.Would recommend for anyone limited in space or who needs to conserve energy (intended use)

Good product,easy to install. I used metal duct tape to fasten it. It helps deaden the noise.

Great product

This insulation worked great! I used it to insulate my vertical propane smoker. Living in Michigan, smoking is difficult in the winter. This will definitely help keep the smoker going throughout the winter months.

Very pleased. Used it for a dishwasher and it reduced noise substantially.

I installed this on the underside of my Classic Cadillac hood as an insulator and heat shield. I haven't been able to see how well it will do until some use. Visually it looks great. And going this route cost only HALF of what parts places online want for them! When installing vapor barriers where ever remember the foil side faces the exterior.

I purchased this product for a odd reason. In my ‘99 4Runner I needed to replace the rear cargo area carpet, and I added this product over the existing padding to help subdue the rear tire noise. It worked perfectly. My car is like new again!

Used this to insulate the roof panels of my 2018 Jeep Wrangler hard top. There’s a definite drop in radiant heat coming from the roof when the sun beats down on it. It’s like night and day compared to the uninsulated sections of the top (I did the panels over the driver and passenger areas first).

easy to work with used on auto floorboads

Only used half so far, to insulate 59 jeep floor board. Need to finish other half of floor but so far it has cut the heat from motor and exhaust significantly.

insulation is 3/8" and opens slightly to 1/2" after a day or two. foil backing is substantial with impeded reinforcement and that's good. i am using it for interior insulation on a car i am restoring and well pleased with it.
