Exactly what I needed for my side garage door. It provides added security and fresh air while keeping flies out.

In order to catch any studs with anchor bolts the whole door needs to n=be at least an inch wider and taller. Was able to catch a stud with the hinge bar but in order to barely catch one for the latch bar I had to go so far out that only the dead bolt will loch and there is a big gap between the bar and door.

The door is exactly what I needed to protect my home and be a door strong enough to not get broken by my pitbull baby due to his strength I didn’t want a normal screen door because it wouldn’t be able to take a hard hit but this one is up for the job would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a door to stand up to a large dog

I love it. It keeps my house cool and no flies can get through it. My son is wanting one now.

My wife wanted to be able to leave our patio door open at night when the weather is nice. This door is the perfect solution. It was easy to install by myself and looks great. And I feel adds a sense of security.

Keeps my livestock and produce safe from thieves and predators. While keeping them cool in the summer.

RUSTED OUT in Less Than 3 Months. We live in the DESERT, with only a few rainy days, so far. The warranty does not cover RUST. I am extremely disappointed with the product. It should not rust in such a dry climate in such a short time. It is not limited to just one area - it's all over the door.

After the door was installed I saw there was a 3/8" on each side where it was open to insects. Home Depot said they told me the would be gaps but that was not true. I had to have the door custom made to fit my wider doorway and to me that sounded like I would have a well fitting door but I do not. I am extremely disappointed to pay $754. for a door that doesn't keep insects out. Neither Home Depot nor the manufacturer are interested in making it right. I feel taken advantage of and will no longer take my business to Home Depot. The security part works great, just not the insect part.

Less than 2 months and its already started rusting. Company proving products states that its a metal door and is expected to rust sooner or later. I did not imagine rusting in 2 months. They say there are alternate products which do not rust. When I purchased it nobody mentioned it to us. Note - These door come with one way screws so its not going to be easy removing them and putting a new one instead.

For the price, this is a great door. I have put in dozens of these, they are my goto condo/apartment security door. One word of advice: predrill a small pilot hole, these are 4” lag bolts that are supplied and will more than likely split the wood if you don’t! Stay Classy..

This door is good, the reason for the 3 stars, is more customer service, or lack there of. This is the 2nd exact same door that I purchased, the first about 5 years ago. However, because we live near the ocean the door rusted badly (see Photo), and that is because we didn't pre-coat it before installing, and I think that the associate should have told me at the time we were looking for security doors, we spent a good 15 minutes with him and he knew where we live, secondly, I did not maintain it properly (I own it), door should be wiped down weekly to prohibit salt from damaging metal. This time I purchased the door, the associate, told me how to care for and what I should use to pre-treat the door before installation. The door is a good door and I would recommend it.

The door was easy to install. The directions were user-friendly, and it provided examples of all the tools required to get the job done. Although I am a novice repair person, it took me two hours to install the security door. Once I installed the security door, it worked better than I inspected.

Simple affordable security door dives you extra minute before you 'll get a gun or just a good extra to create some airflow in a house to lower your AC electrical bill .I recommend it !

We had this security door installed yesterday and absolutely love it. It looks great and it works perfectly for that added peace of mind. And now we don't have to worry about keeping our door open for air flow when we run swamp coolers in the heat of Vegas Summers. Added bonus, the cats love it too.

Looks veery nice on my adobe house . Color blends in well with outside paint. Doors very secure and easy to lock.

The screen door is sturdy, looks nice hung on the front door. I love it.

Good door for the price,but was disappointed to see the start of rust so quickly. We had quite a bit of rain in the last few weeks here in normally dry Arizona, but for rust to start showing within a month of install? Really? And then to read in the warranty that rust is excluded from the warranty. Really? If I have to continually touch-up and repaint, then that will negate the good value this door otherwise would have been. I have other security doors that came with the house, and none of them are showing rust.

This is just your run-of-the-mill security gate, made slightly stronger than the one it was replacing.

I have purchased 2 of these Su Casa Security Screen Doors. They allow excellent vision and don't obscure the glass design in the new front entry door I recently purchased or the nine light door that I bought to replace our old door going to our deck. In fact these beautiful doors actually enhance the appearance of my entry doors and I have received so many compliments from friends and neighbors. I have 3 big dogs and even though they scratch at the door when they are excited by something outside they have not been able to scratch the finish off the door. I am very happy with these doors as I now can leave my front and back doors open to get a nice cross breeze and allow fresh air into the house. There are some little quirks when being installed. The hole in the framing for the dead bolt has to be filed a bit for the dead bolt to perform naturally but that is minimal extra work. After buying these doors I doubt I would ever go back to an all glass security storm door. These doors work well with or without the optional closer that is purchased separately. I had a closer put on the front door as I wanted the door to automatically close because of our dogs. I didn't bother with a closer for the back door. I figured the tension of the closer would interfere with carrying stuff out to the deck from the kitchen when cooking outside on the barbeque grill. I am very happy with the performance of these security doors and gladly recommend them to friends and family. No need to purchase the bug sweep or one way drill bit accessories when purchasing these doors. The bug sweep doesn't seem to fit or it didn't for either of my door installations. The optional one way drill bit attachment according to my contractor needs to be used with a hammer drill to screw in the "large" screws when installing the door. He stated the drill bit doesn't fit any of the hammer drills. Another plus is that these doors are reversible so no need to worry about left or right hand out swing.

If youre in a safe neighborhood, this is a great buy as it is the cheapest you can get. But in inner-city neighborhoods like mine, you can easily get burgalrized if you depend on this door without having a handle-less dead bolt. Look at the picture I uploaded on the right--------->

Recently installed and looks nice, like the fact that we can open the main door and keep the security door closed and locked to enjoy the cool air coming thru and keeping the bugs out!.
