Beautifully easy to place and hopefully easy to clean.

Perfect molding for wet locations.

Like most PVC products, this material is lightweight, easy to cut and shape, and takes good quality latex paint very well. Just be sure you can live with the 2 1/4" width: if you're trying to match an older wood "Colonial" style casing, it won't work as this wood casing was usually 2 1/2" wide. I was replacing all the original (also 2 1/2") "Clamshell" style casing on a few doors, and even with that, I had to do a bit of fudging/filling at the existing baseboards abutting the casings as well as at the face of the existing door frames (needing a somewhat wider offset than at the original casings). Good product, just wish it was 2 1/2" wide instead of 2 1/4".

Very nice looking trim. Several benefits from normal trim: It’s already gloss white finish, so no need to paint. Most trim is just primed and painting takes the me and room and can make messes that you don’t have with these. Also, they are softer than wood, so very easy to cut with a hand saw and a cheap mitre box. Also, the surface resists stains, so it’s easy to clean. The only thing to be aware of is since it’s softer than wood, either turn down the pressure on your finish nailer or use hand hammered brads. I used a finish nailer with 2in nails and has no issues.

Very easy to work with. Had never tried PVC trim before but with the price of would I have it a try. I think it was easier. I did pretty drill all my nail holes.

I was told this molding was made of wood. It's plastic and I have to return it.

Did the job. Had to be secured with liquid nails and screws. The screws were then filled with caulking.
