Awesome looking, easy to install. Can't wait to place our patio furniture

The decking looks awesome it was labor intensive pre drilling for the screws but we’ll worth it.

75% of this order was warped. I assume it was stored poorly. There is a 10 degree arc in most of the boards and several are down curved on the ends. The boards are not straight and taking a lot of effort to lay a deck that does not look curved.

The composite was a great value compared to the name brand T... I used the hidden camo fastening system along with this composite for a fantastic looking finished product.

Have used Verana for years. No maintenance and looks as good as when I installed it 10 years ago.

It was easy to cut and install. I would highly reccondmend predrilling the self drilling screws with a self centering bit. Time will tell how the materials hold up to the elements.

Boards are not straight so expect to spend time clamping or pulling on them when installing. Many boards have a black tar-like substance on them. This can be removed with tar remover but should not be necessary to do that. Some boards on the outside of the pallet had gouges from the strapping. The boards look good, however - will see how they hold up.

The decking looks great and went on very easy. So far we are very happy. The only thing is double check the screws . We were sent screws that were too big and didn't realize till we were almost done. Would give the decking a five star but have had it for only a month and would like to see what it looks like after a year. Also, we added to a previous deck and that was challenging but looks marvelous.

Ends were not square and therefore I had to cut the end of each board (in most cases both ends) to square them up. Even with deck stringers at 16" OC, the boards are still wavy. I wanted to use the hidden fasteners, but when I called the manufacturer I was informed that if I were to create notches in the side of the boards to accommodate the fasteners, I would void the warranty. OK, so I decided I would just screw the deck down utilizing their special screws, but my local Home Depots did not stock these screws so I had to drive 50 minutes each way to the closest Home Depot that carried them (even though I have 5 Home Depots within about 10 miles of me). The final problems were that even those screws "mushroomed" slightly and were very expensive! The biggest problem I have with this decking (and the one that carries the most liability) is that it is extremely slippery, no matter if it's wet or dry. I have slipped numerous times (as have my guests) and I have actually fallen 2 times. The only benefits (and therefore the 2 stars instead of none or 1) is that it cleans easily. Possibly it is so slippery nothing can stick to it?

Would definitely not recommend this products. 1. Decking gets EXTREMELY hot when exposed to the sun. Not able to walk on it barefoot. 2. Do not use standard deck screws on this. The screws countersink, but the material does not compress, rather it creates a little mound over the screw head. 3. The material is VERY DENSE and HEAVY, but the interior is some rubbery material which makes it difficult to drill and cut and it smells like some weird perfume. 4. Boards sag even with 2' on center joists. 5. Has a kind of "plasticy" look to it. Not foolin' anyone that it is wood. Can't wait to get rid of these things.

Very easy to work with and no future maintence will be needed

This product looks great on my deck. It was easy to install. The only complaint I have is I ordered 100 of these 16 ft. decking. Out of them I had 12 that were nicked and had to cut around the nick to use it. I had these boards delivered because of the length and had no way to return them to get new ones. Thank goodness I ordered extra or I would not have had enough.
