This bed took me about 10 minutes to put together. I added a few screws for added securement. I am also going to stain it, to add a little bit of protection. I can’t wait to fill it up. I will most likely be buying another one.

Picked this up on 3/3/22 at my local Home Depot, had 4 in stock, now only 1 in stock. Out of the box, a pair of gloves and a rubber mallet. Follow the instructions twenty minutes later, done. A little wobbly until you add your favorite soil. Don't forget the liner. love the untreated, unfinished look. no measuring, no cutting, no nails, just easy assembly. Great product for the price.

I love it ! It was very easy to put together. I’m an older woman and was able to complete the project on my own. It’s my little kitchen garden. I planted with herbs and spinach. And put it just under my kitchen windows. I added a stencil on front and painting small wood pieces to cap the top of the legs. I just put my spin on it.

This bed is made of quality wood and my daughter and I put it together in less than 30 minutes. It was a bit longer process beforehand, as we cleaned, sanded, and water-proofed the wood first. I am very pleased with this product and highly recommend.

We live in an industrial area where almost everything is paved. So we bought four of these to have a veggie garden despite the pavement. We set them up mid-April and yesterday, June 14, I came home to the bottom having fallen out of one! The board that holds the bottom slats had ripped through at the grain of the board it was nailed to. I am dismayed and also nervous for the other planters. If this happens to the bed we used for tomatoes I will be downright angry. If you buy these DO line them and DO use glue and extra nails or screws to make sure they don't decimate your garden mid-season.

Not nearly as nice as the one I bought last year, which was screwed together, had nicely finished boards, and came with a liner. I don’t have mallet so I had to use all of my body weight to get the boards to go in, and if it is even a little but unsquare the notches will chip and splinter. One board had a raw edge on it. Overall, I don’t feel like it’ll come apart easily

This was a Mothers Day present for my wife from the kids to plant herbs. It assembled in 15 minutes. I coated with some Cabot Australian Timber Oil , filled with some planting soil and put in the plants It's the gift that keeps giving.

Wood full of knots and cracks. Held together with friction on poorly cut joints. It looks like i made it out of recycled wood, so maybe that's the look they were going for. That being said, the price is low and it does the job. It's probably worth it if you want something inexpensive. If you are looking for quality, expect to spend a lot more. Added a picture of one of the boards that's all jacked up. A bunch of them are like this.

The elevated raised bed was easy to put together especially with the directions. I did need to have a helper though to hold things. I also had to bang some pieces with a rubber mallet to fit them together but I was still able to assemble everything easily. Very sturdy. And I don't have to bend over. As a tall person, for me an in ground garden is not ideal. So I'm in love with this elevated bed. Will be buying another one.

Big shout out to Marc the Garden Manager at the Home Depot on 22nd Avenue in St Petersburg! I had put together the Raised Garden Box and one of the boards that slides down to enclose the sides just was not working. It was too thick than the width of the slit so not wanting to take back the entire box because I had much of it done I took that one piece of board in. He was great, took it and sanded down the board until it looked to be about the width needed for easy sliding. We were kind of guessing because he wasn't able to actually see just how much to take down. But, I brought it home and low and behold it slid right into to place! Thank You so much Marc for solving the problem & your expertise in handling the problem!!!

This is the 2nd one I've purchased in a month! The price is great for the quality and delivery was fast- 1&2 days. I love that it is made of cedar to resist rotting, it looks great and makes gardening so easy-no bending! The first one needed a little enlarging of the leg slots to be able to fit the first 2 boards in but didn't take much- I just tapped it with a flat screwdriver. Other than that easy to put together with just a mallet. I wondered how useful the shelf would be because of the drainage but we've had some heavy rainfalls and not one drop has gotten through in 3 weeks! I guess the soil is able to absorb it all(I used Miracle Gro potting soil for containers). If I had the room I'd get a couple more!

Do NOT buy this box unless you want to end up with expensive fire wood. It took my boyfriend 2 hours to put this together because none of the joints were cut properly. The boards for the floor of the planter and the shelf are inconsistently cut and the second I put soil in it, the whole thing started to bow out. The boards of the shelf fell out and won’t stay in. Spend the extra money and buy a decent planter.

Easy, Quick Assembly! Price was right. I assembled and also stained the outside of the plantar for a good quality look and help the wood not turn grey from being weathered. They look great! Wife was extremely happy!

I stained all the parts before assembling. Take note: if you decide to stain, over buy on the stain! The cedar is dry and really drinks the stain quickly. There are come pieces that have dovetailed ends to slide into the pre-cut grooves. Those are a breeze to do. The problem was with the regular end pieces that had to go into cut out sections in another piece on the legs. Only tool needed was a rubber mallet. No matter how it was angled, the cut outs were not large enough to accommodate the connecting piece. I had two pieces with cracks in the connecting areas due to lack of fitting. In lieu of returning them, I took a long screw and fastened the damaged area. All in all, this is a very sturdy and aesthetically pleasing elevated garden bed. This picture show it stained (stain not included), and assembled. I then laid down a liner (again, not included) and in when the soil.

This should be an easy project but unfortunately one of the main boards was not cut to fit. The board that goes in the side 1st did not have grooves like from a dado cut) so it would slide into place. I now have to find someone to correct this or purchase a would shaver. This was to be my project without my husband's assistance.

I’ve been looking at raised beds online. The problem was I’d have to go pick it up somewhere, I’m 67 and it wouldn’t be easy for me. When I saw this kit and that you just needed a mallet I jumped on it. I was skeptical after some reviews but I couldn’t be more pleased. I slid the box out of my car, opened the box, and carried the parts in my kitchen (raining). I put all the sides together with no problem. There was no moldy wood, none with knots that would weaken it. Each side board had one tough side & one smooth side. I put the smooth side outside. I carried it outside & put the bottom slats in. It took me about 45 minutes. I’m pretty handy. After I line it, on a dry day, I’ll fill with soil. I highly recommend.

I recently purchased 2 of these. 1 fit together quite well. The other had a molding board and was very wobbly. I ended up needing 6 4in screws to hold the legs together. Was given a discount on the price of the planet box for my troubles. All in all very good for the price. Will be putting down the weed fabric and filling with dirt soon. Hopefully they will hold up.

Easy to assemble, paintable/stainable and adds a nice rustic look to my patio!

The only reason it's not a 5 star is because the wood slat cuts were a little off. I had to adjust several of them to make them a bit shorter. They are great! Would be helpful if you had help to put together, but, I didn't and was able to complete the set up.
