Absolutely love my 22” Vision grill! I’ve used it on several different food items and it never disappoints! Just be aware of the plastic side tables when the grill is still hot!

It works great for both smoking and grilling. I've had wonderful service from the company, and don't know why other reviewers have had issues. They have been fast to respond and courteous, in one case the old style handle broke on the top vent well after the warranty expired and they sent a new style free. The only other replacements I've had to do was the nomex gaskets which wear out after a few years on all brands, and the shield for the electric starter under the charcoal. I've had no issues with air leaks mentioned in some reviews and can actually smother and reuse unburned charcoal. Love the ease of removing the ashes!

Please be aware of Vision Grills assembly. I bought a grill with a significant defect and when I contacted the company, they did not offer to replace the product. The defect resulted in the bolts snapping on the grill and the lid breaking.

Bad service! First issue was that my wife ordered it as a xmas gift that never arrived so had to cancel and reorder at with a price $100 higher, it was available then! Now it's $300 cheaper, NICE!!! Then recently the handle cracked and broke off and very light and normal use, it's just a cheap plastic handle. When contacted the company they immediately responded but were more concerned about the registration and once registered it now they won't respond back after a month and 2 more attempts!

Did a TON of research and for the money this grill can’t be beat.Features are far better than the egg and the lower cost beat out the joe. So easy to assemble but it is HEAVY! Get help to lift. Assembled in less than an hour. Used it three times already and could NOT be happier. Really fun. Purchased a separate multi probe digital thermometer and I would highly encourage this. I made ribs and a shoulder and best I have ever made. Def a learning curve with the temps and vents but that’s the fun of it:).

Only used it once so far… but we are loving it! During assembly I noticed how heavy and solid everything from the steel frame to the ceramic bowl. Lifetime grill!!!

We have used a Traeger grill for years, but never achieved the real smoky flavor that we wanted. The Vision Grill immediately imparted that flavor and is so easy to start (with the electric wand starter) and cook a variety of foods. Delicious!

Still performs like new. Two issues: 1) Ash pan metal rusted out 2) seals slowly Burn away. Both issues resolved with Vision customer service. Which is great by the way.

bought the grill about 3 months ago and it has been great. The set up was easy (you will need help to lift the grill to its stand). It takes few runs to learn the vent setting, but once you do, there is no problem in maintaining low smoking temperature.

I have had this grill now for about 8 months and absolutely love it. There is definitely a learning curve with this, you have to practice with it a few times to get used to how to properly set the vents but once you do it works very well.

I was impressed with the Temperature control. I BBQ 2 half chickens,Beef Ribs and Sausage. I placed the chicken on the bottom rack and ribs on the top rack. I did not have to turn them over at all. Set Temperature at 350*. Only drawback, no heat deflector

I love my vision grill! I reviewed several other brands before making the decision to purchase this grill last spring. The black color looks awesome with my deck decor. Considering buying another for the lower level patio. Easy to use and clean!

Quick and dirty review because of the word count. Spend more money for better quality. It Rusts Garbage Thermometer (gets worse at higher temperatures) Hard to maintain low smoking temperatures Small wheels make it hard to move

I NEVER write reviews…. But because of everything i read about not being able to hold the temperature because of leaks, i thought i need to write this one. I’ve been using it for about 3 weeks now… everyday from grilling, searing, smoking… pizza, pineapple… you name it. I’ve been able to hold temperatures as low as 225 for about six hours no problem. We had brisket two times, short ribs and it turned out AMAZING… it is by far the best grill/smoker i ever owned…. I’m attaching a picture, I’m 3 hours into a smoked brisket (my 3rd since i bout it) and the temp has been stable at 200 for the entire time…. Oh, by the way… this electric fire starter has been a game changer for me ;)

My wife bought this for me for fathers day 2016. We use this grill multiple times each week and it’s still going strong in 2021

We try to smoke something every weekend, including ribs, brisket, pork shoulder, turkey breast, etc. The food always turns out well and the temperature is easy to manage. It’s fun to try different foods and wood in the smoking process. A nice weekend hobby and a good source of tasty food.

Absolutely amazed by the flavor of the first meal cooked on this and ( pork steaks) will be ditching my still perfectly functional propane grill immediately. Worth the prep work to get the lump charcoal going. I used a chimney style prepper and a MAPP gas torch to get it started. Definitely need to perfect my methods but my wife was very impressed by the difference between this and the propane grill. Looks great too, like a fat storm trooper, time will till how the finish holds up. It is heavy and it gets hot so keep the kids away.

Great value- lots of fun to use! High quality that rivals the big name brands that cost more $$

Could not be happier with this purchase. I was a Weber Genesis guy for 4-years and decided to get back to the art of BBQ. The charcoal flavor hands down is better than gas, yes it’s a little more work but I like to cook so it’s worth it. This is my first lump charcoal grill and could not be happier with my investmen. So far everything I have cooked has tasted better than when cooked on the Weber and the Genesis did a great job. Did my first 10 hour low and slow 225 brisket (7lbs) and it was the best I have ever made. The more you cook the better you season the grill and get at controlling the temp. At first I could not keep the temp below 300, then figured out not to let the electric heat element light all the charcoal, for low and slow just remove the heat element once you here the crackle and see a small ember. I also had to finagle the ash drawer rail by raising it slightly with stacked quarters to create an air tight seal. With that I now have a grill that can do it all! It’s heavy, well built and fun! Can’t wait to try a wood fired pizza. We even cook s’mores for dessert! I also bought the Vision accessory kit, well worth it! You will need the stone and recessed holding rack. Also the cast iron skillet is a must for steaks! I was on the fence between this and a Kamado Joe or Green Egg and decided to save myself $400 and get some accessories.

This grill is awesome! After a couple weeks, I’ve got pretty good at smoking, and grilling on it.

Ordered this professional geill on sale from Home Depot and from the order to actual cooking on this Pro Series S has been a once in a lifetime experience! Vision Grills packaged this grill to the extreme. On delivery it weighed in at 281 pounds and couldn’t be lifted by two others and myself so we had to flip it end over end up a flight of steps and it came out in perfect shape. The packaging of this ceramic grills was way over the top bar none. If you have to unpack by yourself and you are over 65 like me, no problem. Assembling the grill was easy following the directions. Once you have stripped it down to the ceramic pod you will need someone to help hoist it onto the stand but other than that it’s a one person project. The biggest thing to keep in mind on your first cooking experience is start with the smoking temps and gradually go to grilling saving the searing of steaks for the last thing because once you get the heat up to over 450 degrees it takes quite a while to lower the temp back to grilling temp. Might want to sear the steaks on the stove but if you like your steaks rare to med rare go ahead and go to searing but with the lid raised up. I promise you after purchasing this grill you’ll never want another. You can smoke, grill, bake pizzas, sear steaks and cook anything on this one, it does everything! Make sure you register tour grill with Vision. I didn’t need to call customer service so I can’t speak to that. Also buy the accessory kit for this grill, it’s well worth the money. All in all I could not have have spent my money more wisely, This is a 22” wide double level cooking surface and beats the price of the 18” Kamado Joe ll by $200. Make the deal of your grilling life, buy the best through Viosion Grills!!!

Best grill we’ve ever owned! Cooks to perfection!

In spite of initial shipping issues, it actually showed up two weeks earlier than the estimate. Well packed and well made. In addition to all the parts you needed being there they also included the tools, very thoughtful addition. Only challenge is we didn't realize just how heavy it is so it took more than two people to unpack, put together, and move to our back yard.

Simple assembly, but two people required due to weight of chamber. Vision Grills black cover quite disappointing; outside liner great, but cheap PVC inner liner sticks & transfers plastic material to shelves & handle (right over company name!). Unacceptable. Had to fashion my own inner liner out of used bedsheet to separate PVC from handle & shelves. Also wish my grill looked like photo with wood handle & shelves rather than cheap looking black plastic.

easy to put together and have cooked pizza, smoked pork shoulder, reversed grilled steak and pork chops in the first two weeks of having the grill. I do not think I will ever use any other of my three grills, I couldn't be more delighted with this grill!

My friends who payed double for BGE are jealous. I cooked a whole Tandoori (yes, I am Indian!). perfection! Also Amwrican Waygu Steak - mic drop. Boston Butt - my sin, a chef and bbq expert raved! Save the $$ and buy the professional S version!

We actually have two of these at different properties both purchased from HD. The smoker is great for ribs, which we often smoke for ourselves and neighbors. One neighbor commented that these were the best ribs ever. I’ve also smoked pork shoulder overnight using a bluetooth inkbird set of probes.
