Nice heater for a smaller bedroom. Used in addition to regular house furnace as the room tends to be chilly on extremely cold days and nights. Although I would not say it is noisy, the fan feature does make a louder sound than I thought it would. Overall, it does a good job in warming the room.

Quiet, heats the room 18’x13’ in 30 minutes- love this!

I returned the heater. I had hoped for a heater that would direct the heat. The Vornado is a whole room heater and directs the heat all over the room. I know that heat rises in cold air so it would take forever to get the heat to extend down to the floor.

I love the way the units will heat the WHOLE room---not just an area of a room. And it is a very comfortable heat which does not dry the air. The only problem is that these last for one or two winter seasons. The heating element burns out. But it is worth it to me as I like how they work!

Cycling on low, heats a large living room to a comfortable temperature in an old house on chilly days. When temps fall below 32F, this heater augments ancient wall electric heater to keep whole room toasty, instead of the usual "broil or freeze." Circulates heat well, without creating a draft.

Tried two of these units that both had control issues that I consider design flaws. The thermostat constantly flipped the heating element on and off; some sort of de-bounced switch is needed. This behavior causes sudden power surges that can trip circuit breakers, especially in older systems.

I already owned one of these very happy with it. the new one I just received is very noisy not like the other one. If it was easy to take this one back I would. I live in Hawaii where everything has to be shipped in, I work long hrs so I order online and have delivered to my home. The post office where I live closes at 4 before I get off work and on Saturdays has reduced hrs. of operation.

Great heater. Very quiet operation. Can be used simply as a cooling fan too. I prefer this model because, in the heating mode, you can set the fan to remain on once the proper temperature has been reached. Other heaters go on and off which can be irritating if you are sound sensitive.

I was looking for a reliable heater and came across this Vornado that is also a fan. It's perfect for winter and summer. Does the job of heating a large bathroom.

Purchased the Vornado VH2, but returned it as the fan blade was loud ? And the cord seemed like it was not attached properly. We purchased one similar That we loved so I was hoping this VH2 1500 Watt whole House heater was similar. I may buy another and see if it work properly.

Once the heat smell burns off, the unit does a nice job warming the room.

This is the second Vornado I have purchased. The first went to college with my son to heat his dorm room as he is in college literally on top of a mountain in Colorado. The second heater is for a rarely occupied basement bedroom. I needed something to heat the room when it was in use, without spending a large amount of money to run additional duct work. This heater was perfect! Warmed and maintained the heat of a 19x19 ft room, fan is very quiet and didn't effect my electric bill.

This space heater keeps our inner garage warm enough to keep our wine from getting too cold. Very happy with the product and recommend it without reservation.

I live in the Pacific northwest, a few blocks from the ocean in a two bedroom duplex with two wall mounted heaters.I mention this because it doesn't get really cold here, Last year I bought a portable heater and decided to buy another one this year. I have had really good luck with Vornado air circulators and fans in the past and decided to try one of their heaters. Unfortunately I am not really impressed with this heater. I does put out heat, raised the temp in a 10 X 12 room with a 10' ceiling four degrees in about an hour, but the fan is loud, if I use this in the living room with the TV on I have to raise the volume to hear the TV. Would I buy this model again? No. Would I recommend it? No.

Heater is supposed to cycle on and off used it in 10 × 10 room never turns off even though room blazing hot. Doesn't have a temperature dial so you can't put in what's comfortable for you

Works as advertised. In continues use expect it to last a couple of years.

I used the heater to keep pipes from freezing in my basement. I've lived here for 44 years and this was the first winter I had pipes freeze --this little heater works well and saved me from having pipes burst

this heater is very quiet and keeps a room very warm. I already had one of these heaters. I am thinking of buying 2 more.

Easy to start. I cannot keep it on high (1500) watts for over two hours because it overheats the strip. I use 1500 watts to get it started and then I change it to 750 watts. It works best in a small & very small room.

The unit fan is very quiet. The settings are easy to make. The on and off works well with the settings you set the unit to work at on and off. The unit is good looking. The unit is a good buy.

We help heat a 13'x22' family room with this,and it's doing very well.

The master bedroom is at the end of the condo and tends to get quite cold even with the heat up. My husband has been complaining all winter so I finally ordered the heater and he has been happy as a clam ever since. The product is compact, the temperature comes on and off and does a great job of keeping the fairly large room warm.
